7 days Mt. Kilimanjaro, Machame route
5/5

We were a small group climbing mount Kilimanjaro in a 7 days hike up the Machame route. All along, from the first emails and up till we got back to Arusha after the climb, Evelyn and the team were outstanding! The guides were professional and the crew was great, as well as all of the equipment we received (tents, mattresses, food tent etc.). Definitely recommend them!

Wonderfully organised, amazing guide and unbeatable game viewing
5/5

Evelyn was very helpful and clear from our first contact and no detail was left unchecked, she and George even came to see us after the tour to see how it went.
Our guide Hozza was wonderful, his knowledge on wildlife, local history and environment and tribes in the area is fascinating. He tried to teach us basic Swahili and new and interesting facts about animals every day. On the night that an inquisitive hyena wandered into camp he even escorted us to the bathroom to ensure we felt safe.
Hozza honestly made an already amazing trip into something truly special.
The vehicle was very comfortable and spacious and very well looked after, his driving skills (especially when taking the quality of the roads into consideration) are phenomenal!
We did a mix of budget and mid range accommodation and every night was a fabulous new experience. Basic camping is a great experience, though perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, you feel so close to nature. Tent sleeping is not the most comfortable experience, though definitely worth trying for a night, if you can afford to us the tented camps they are a spectacular experience, luxury from another era.
At no point on this trip were we dissatisfied with our choice of tour company and can only sing their praises and thank them for a once in a lifetime experience!
Asante sana Hozza, Evelyn, George, Isaac and Goodluck!

Clear communication, great experience and very affordable
5/5

We opted for a 4 day/3 nights budget camping package as a family trip; my father, mother and I. Seven Wonders Safari was very communicative and made the whole booking experience a breeze.

Our guide was Jose, a calm and collected individual with a commanding knowledge of the animals and the terrain. Our cook in Kalvin made sure we were well fed with delicious and hearty meals.

We were able to see the Big 5! We rode around 6 or 7 hours a day out in the wild. Watching the animals living unimpeded in their natural habitat was the clear cut highlight of the trip.

The campsites were unfenced and inside the national park. We had some buffaloes visit us at night. The restrooms and shower areas were relatively clean. Watching the sunset and sunrise in the campsite was a very special experience.

We wouldn't hesitate to book a trip with them again.

The safari of your dreams
5/5

I was a solo traveller from Australia (staying in Arusha for 3 months) who booked this tour less than 2 days before it started. First off, Evelyn who I was in contact with from the start was so helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I was ready to go in such a short amount of time. Experiencing the wonders of Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater is the ideal safari and the Seven Wonders team made it magnificent. My guide was Godfrey and the chef was Kaaya. Both Godfrey and Kaaya were so friendly and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Godfrey is so knowledgable in all of the wildlife, bird life, plant life, landscapes, etc. that you visit. I learnt so much, which makes you appreciate what you're seeing even more. He navigated the parks so well that we didn't miss out on seeing anything! Kaaya's cooking was unbeatable! Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. Both Godfrey and Kaaya outdid themselves in making sure we were all comfortable, happy and with full bellies. The time allocations for this safari are pretty much perfect, allowing enough time in each of the destinations to experience what is on offer. Thank you Seven Wonders, Godfrey, Kaaya and Evelyn!

Booked a group camping 5 day safari, and all expectations were exceeded!
5/5

Pre-booking experience: They responded to all emails in a day and would answer all personal questions with specific information - not just copy & paste answers that they send to all people.
Airport pickup/drop off: They picked us up from the Arusha airport and dropped us off at the Kilimanjaro airport - all included in the price! The cars were clean and the drivers were friendly.
Hotel before/after the safari: They booked us a room in the Ambassador Hotel for the night before the safari and a night after the safari - all included in the price. The Ambassador Hotel was clean and comfortable enough.
Safari Car: The pop-up roof car was the perfect safari experience! You could tell that our car was a bit used (some broken arm rests and one window that was jammed and couldn't open), but after being in it for 5 days and seeing the road conditions in the parks, I'm not surprised that it had a few little problems.
Staff: Our tour guide+driver (Hozza) and cook (Kelvin) were phenomenal and truly made the safari top-notch! The guide could talk for hours and hours about any and every animal and plant. He was really experienced, professional, funny, and kind. He would explain facts and habits of different animals when we would see them on the safari and then he would go really in-depth on one specific animal every night at dinner. He was also an aggressive driver when he needed to be - making sure other cars didn't block our view for certain popular animals.
Food: For a budget camping safari, the food (quality and quantity) far exceeded expectations! We had a cook who traveled with us every day and would make 3 meals. You will NOT go hungry!! Breakfast always included fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, toast, juice, and coffee/tea. Lunch was boxed (you would eat it at the national parks) and included a sandwich, chicken, banana, crackers, chocolate, and juice. Dinner was also a huge spread, and varied every night - homemade soup, fresh salad, pasta/rice, meat...
Drinks: We had unlimited water bottles in a cooler in the car (cool water!) and juice at every meal. We also were served wine and gin and tonics every evening at dinner. The alcohol was included!
Lodges/Campsites: We booked a camping safari, but we ended up staying in a basic lodge for two nights and camping in tents two nights. The basic lodge was a pleasant surprise - hot water private showers, a real bed, and wifi. The tour company provided all of the camping supplies - large tents (each couple/individual got their own tent), sleeping bags, and pillows. We set up our own tents with the help of the guide and cook. We never slept very well while camping because you would hear animals outside of the tents, but totally worth it for the experience! We saw a hyena, warthog, and buffalo at one campsite and an elephant from the other! The campsites have flush toilets and cold water showers.
Safari Itself: The itinerary was different every day, but generally we woke up early and would stay in the park for 6-8 hours a day. Driving between parks takes a long time, but the car is comfortable. The guide is always radioing the guides from the other cars to find out the locations of different animals, but you can expect to see EVERYTHING! We saw so many lions (and lion cubs), cheetahs (and cheetah cubs), leopards (and leopard cubs), as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, warthogs, hyenas... PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!
Thoughts on a 5 day safari: By the end of the five days, we were definitely safari'd out. I would recommend to my friends to only do 4 days (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara/Tarangire) - no need to do both Manyara and Tarangire. The scenery is different in each park, but you get to the point of being tired of sitting in the car for the full day.

Unforgettable!
5/5

We spent 3 days in Ndutu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with George, after a day in the Killimanjaro national park which was also arranged by 7 wonders.

Evelyn was absolutely wonderful when we were booking, we didnt give her much notice and she put together a fantastic itinerary.

7 wonders were brilliant professionals from the minute we landed till the minute we were dropped off at the airport. The days spent on the game drive were simply magical - George is so knowledgable, and took a great interest in educating us about wildlife and Africa in general.

We are already planning our next trip to africa with seven wonders and cant wait!

Well organized and curated
5/5

We did the 3 day 2 nights camping safari. We visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and did a Maasai Village Walk with local lunch.

I have to say they did an amazing job planning the safari! They organized everything and were very accommodating with our late pick-up and early drop-off. We had an amazing safari driver and the camp we stayed at was extremely clean and well cared for!

We saw all the animals we wanted to see and then some, so I am throughly satisfied with the service. I highly recommend booking with this company!!!

Great experience
5/5

It was a private tour to have taken a tour only by me. Because it was the off season.
A tour guide was very kind and spoke to only me about animals and Tanzania.
I wasn't good at English, but he spoke politely.
He found many animals. Lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant and buffalo…etc.
The three days I spent in Tanzania was a good experien.ce for me.
I thank him! Thank you very much.
