Wonderful
It was one of my best experience I've ever made. The organzisation of the safari was excellent and the communication as well. Also the suggested lodges were very good. Best of all was the driver (Justus) who explained and answered to every question. If I would plan a safari in Kenya again I would choose shoortravel once again.

Enjoyable 4 day Masai Mara Safari
As expats based in Bengaluru, we had a few days off and decided to go to Kenya, a relatively short 5-6 hour flight, to experience the famous Masai Mara, which my husband and I have being seen so much of on various wildlife documentaries. Having found Shoor Safaris on the web and with them being around close to 20 years in the Safari business, we contacted them for a 4 day Masai Mara safari with a request to customize the accommodation to a luxury camp of our choice which we had heard of from friends. Everything was arranged and reserved in good time and we duly headed to Kenya for our long awaited African Safari.
Now, after having come back from a wonderful trip just a week ago, I cannot praise this tour operator enough. Everything was well arranged and above all else their service & attention to detail took away the mild stress of heading to Africa for our first, albeit short safari. Our driver Peter, was highly knowledgeable about the wildlife, without being overtly all about facts and figures, and as a person was very personable and courteous as well. Masai Mara as a safari destination as well was such a special place - we choose to visit the western side of the reserve, the Mara Triangle, and am glad we did as this is a less tourist location of the reserve.
So all said and done, we have fond memories of our Masai Mara safari and we are already looking forward to a future trip for a longer duration !

Wonderful safari in kenya
We are avid Safari goers having visited some of the best Safari locations in East & Southern Africa over the last few years, attracted by the stunning landscapes and of course the magical wildlife. East Africa however is our favorite safari destination in large part due to the sheer diversity of both Kenya and Tanzania. We did our first safari with a famous safari outfitter who were quite expensive, and though we enjoyed the experience, we felt it was a little too ‘run of the mill’ and ‘’packaged’’ for the price. For our second trip we were recommended Shoor Safaris by one of our friends who had used them before. When we contacted them we were very particular with the details as for our second safari we wanted to go to locations a little ‘’off the beaten track’’ as well as keep the prices in check. Shoor Safaris, and Fiona in their Reservations team, were a revelation – not only creating a superb itinerary for us with carefully selected lodges, but also ending up being more reasonable than comparable outfitters. After our first trip with them a couple of years ago [ and our second to Africa], we are now planning a third safari with Shoor later this year to combine Kenya & Tanzania into a 10 day itinerary, and I can assure anyone who is considering booking with them that they are a great choice for an affordable, dependable and highly personalized luxury operator for Kenya and Tanzania

Always good service
We have been traveling with Shoor several times during the last twenty years. Beside that we are travel agents in Denmark and are sending our clients to Shoor. Very dependable operator with high quality safaris at affordable rates
We used Shoor Safaris for a recent but long planned safari to Kenya upon the recommendation of a friend of ours who has previously travelled with them twice.
We booked a tour that we customized to suit our choice of accommodation because we preferred certain lodges & camps after reviewing these on trip advisor & other such sites. I can only say I was very impressed by the speed & care with which Shoor responded. We managed to get through the booking process with no loose ends or any questions unanswered..all details very clearly presented.
On the 7 day safari itself I only have praise for them for the excellent service provided and the quality of their tour Driver Guide who really took amazing care of trip. Of course Kenya us such a marvelous safari destination that I suppose everyone is pleased while on safari but still the company handling the safari arrangements carries much responsibility. From the locations visited Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru were my favourite the latter especially because we managed to spot the leopard there twice, quite lucky because both times the bug cat had hidden itself up on a tree. All in all a great safari and we look forward to going back to Kenta someday again.
