Most exciting, most beautiful trip
My friends and I had 2 wonderful weeks traveling around in Ruanda and Uganda. Our guide David took care of us at all times, driving carefully even though the streets have been rough sometimes ("african massage") and giving us the opportunity to ask all the questions we had (and we had many ;)). We felt absolutely save all times! The lodges we stayed at were lovely, clean and the staff was very, very friendly. Great food, too! It really felt like holidays!
Most special of course was to experience the nature: Beautiful landscape, the rainforest and amazing animals we haven't seen before. The highlight was the gorilla tracking: quite exhausting but worth every step! Meeting these huge and kind animals in their natural environment was an experience we'll never ever forget!
Me and my friends highly recommend to do a trip like that!!! Speke Uganda and Diamir Reisen organized it perfectly and we want to say "thank you". This trip gave so much to us! We are Africa-Fans now and forever

Amazing planning, great accommodations, great car. Super fun guide.
Speke did a fantastic job from the first day we reached out. They put together a clean programme, with fun activities, reasonable amounts of travel and high quality accommodations. Highly recommend.

The most spectacular trip! Wonderful an highly recomendable
Thanks to the great organisation of Speke Uganda and our best guide David we had very exciting but also relaxing holidays in Ruanda and Uganda. We felt very safe all times, learned so much about the countries and saw so many animals and beautiful countrysides. Even though the roads have been rough sometimes we enjoyed the ride, the lovely view outside the window and the interesting talks with David, who was always able to answer our questions and discuss all different themes with us. It felt like talking to a friend. Accomodation was gorgeous. We enjoyed the lodges that have been chosen for us. Service, cleanliness and food have been excelent. And on top of all this the gorilla tracking was a sucsess! We won't ever forget this adventure and these awesome animals. Please all come and visit :) !

An excellent overall experience of wildlife and community life in Uganda
We found the whole tour to be a well organised one. We stayed in lovely camps providing excellent facilities and food. We
were fortunate to see plenty of wildlife and the thrill of the gorilla trek. We also enjoyed the cultural experience of Uganda that the tour provided.

Best experience I have ever had, top of my holiday list
This whole safari exceeded my expectations beyond belief. I have been on several safaris before but this one stood head and shoulders above all the others. All the information that we got and had during the tour was given early and clearly. Planning was impeccable. Our driver was fantastic. He introduced us to things that we would not have seen or tasted before, yes he bought us food from the markets, but it was unbelievable. This has been without a doubt a holiday that has changed my outlook. I will be returning to this fantastic country as soon as I can. Worth every penny.

Wonderful tour of one of the most beautiful countries!
We worked with Speke through our America-based travel agent. This is a review about our tour guide, Innocent Mugoofu, who we had during our entire 5-day stay in Uganda. Innocent picked up my husband and me in Kigali and transported us into Uganda with a wealth of knowledge and excitement about his country.
Firstly, his driving was exceptional, which was important for a few reasons - 1) he had to deal with driving on different sides of the road going from Rwanda to Uganda, 2) the roads in Uganda are often dirt/rock/bumpy and on the edge of the hills with no guardrails, and 3) the drives were lengthy. We always felt safe with him driving! Plus he was a pro at crossing the borders via road. Secondly, he made sure our stay was memorable and special. We had several multi-hour drives that went by quickly since we spent the whole time chatting with him, with each of us learning about the other's culture. He was on time (early!) and professional and helped us with each of our trekking experiences, including what to wear and what to expect.
Speke also set up all our gorilla and golden monkey permits, plus a boat ride at our hotel for us. Everything went off without a hitch! We would certainly recommend Innocent as a tour guide to others (and hope to one day visit Uganda again with him to see even more the country has to offer!), and we imagine that the rest of Speke's staff are high quality, as well!
(A quick note that the Toyota SUV we used was a safari-type vehicle, which may not seem overly luxurious at first, but it's the only thing that can handle the rough terrain around trekking areas.)

A wonderful mix of safari and culture, including national parks and visits to local villages. Nelson our guide was brilliant and couldn't do enough to make the whole experience amazing.

AWESOME
This was our first visit to the African continent. Our safari through West/South Uganda took us from Kampala to Kibale Nationalpark, to the Queen Elisabeth incl. Ishasha Sector to the south to Moint Gahinga NP (Gorilla Tracking) and from there to Lake Mburo NP. Our guide Nelson was simply world class. His animal and especially bird spotting ability was phenomenal. Thank you very much Nelson for great time!
All the lodges that we stayed at were of the highest standard and all the peopel there were very friendly, helpeful, reliable and serviceoriented.
The bottom line of the journey: Amazing, unique experience with expert guide. Unforgettable Holidays in Uganda - the Pearl of Africa! Please protect this wonderful part of the world - Thank you.

Amazing trip to Uganda with Speke
We had an amazing tour in Uganda in early Feb 2019 organized by Speke.
It started with planning the trip and customizing it to our requests. Stella was super supportive of our special requests - and customized the tour for us. Our guide, Asman, was terrific. His knowledge, friendliness, and true care for our needs - made this a wonderful trip.
The lodges we stayed at were all great.
We started with the amazing gorillas at Bwindi forest. A truly touching experience.
We then went north to see wildlife in Ishasha , chimpanzees, elephants, hippos and more in Kazinga channel and much more.
And all along the way we met the nice and friendly people of Uganda!
Many thanks to Speke for a truly great experience!

Four weeks private trip through Uganda
Our journey through Uganda took us almost all over the country, from Entebbe to the north to the Kidepo Valley National Park, to the south to Bwindi National Park and from there via Ssese Islands back to Entebbe. Everywhere we met nice people the accommodations and the food was very good and the whole trip was a great experience. Not only the organizer but also our very good driver-guide David had a big part in that. He has always responded to all our wishes and ideas, especially on safaris.
The absolute emotional highlight was the encounter with the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi National Park. Even the tour to the gorillas, over streams and dense vegetation is an experience. To experience a gorilla family with playing baby then up close in about 2-4 m distance is deeply impressive and unforgettable.
