Unforgetable experience
5/5

We were a group of 5 germans (age 30-82!!) on this tour, that was organized by the german agency Diamir, which has a cooperation with Speke Uganda. We started at Entebbe and saw Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi NP and Rwanda. Our guide Ivan Nsubuga was very competent, dedicated and caring. He spoke excellent german and was very sensible for individual necessities and wishes. He showed us not only wildlife, but also a lot of culture and he gave us a great insight to Uganda. Our driver Moses Niwamanya did a great Job, too, driving us safely on challenging roads. In perfect english he gave a lot of information, as well. Both of them were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable, that I recommend this journey to all my friends.

Very supportive regarding my donation
5/5

Speke Uganda is not only a great agency (see my review from 15.8.2017) but they also supported my idea to send a parcel with teaching material from Germany to "Bwindi Eco children Uganda" in Buhoma. The choir of this school welcomed us in the Silverback Lodge in Buhoma which was so amazing to me that I decided to support them. I sent the parcel to Speke and Derrick, our guide in August, handed it over. Speke sent me some photos of this handing over and I could see many smiling children!
Thank you Speke and thank you Derrick for your commitment!!!!!

Every thing worked how a tourist could wish it in a country like Ugand, Ruanda.
5/5

We had a very good guide with Paul and a very nice driver with Moses. Both gave us savety, help, informations, safarispots, fotospots, happy and friendly time together. Lodges were all very nice, but we wished to have good roomsaves available. Safari was wonderful, also off course the gorilla trekks. We hope they have a good future and also the whole nationalparks with landscape and other animals alwell. But also we wish the best to all the lovely people we met in Uganda and Ruanda. It was a wonderful holiday. Thank you all!

Our tour with Speke Uganda was just great. Our guide was perfect, friendly, helpful, polite and helped us to really get in touch with the beauty of the country and with the uniqueness of Uganda and its people itself.
We enjoyed our 10 days trip a lot, got so many impressions, had no problems with anything. Thank you for the great time we had!

A wonderful holiday to four different but equally spectacular venues.
5/5

I visited Uganda with a group of friends and stayed at the Boma in Entebbe and then three different game parks (Kidepo, Ishasha and Bwindi). It was fascinating to see such a varied cross-section of the country. We loved everywhere we stayed and our excellent and knowledgeable drivers/tour guides in the game parks.

Great experience in Uganda and Ruanda
4/5

We had a great time and lots of interesting and amazing animal encounters in both countries. The tour plan is super. We have never been so close to Rhinos like in Ziwa. Murchison Falls is a must - especially the walk up the falls is amazing. Queen Elisabeth NP also had some surprise – a herd of elephants at Kazinga channel and tree climbing lions very close. Our first Chimp trekking in Kibale was not successful, but we got a second chance and the encounter was amazing. We also had good luck in two Gorilla trekkings. Although the first one in Bwindi was quite hard (7 hours and very steep slopes) but impressive. Contrary, in Volcanoes it was like a Sunday afternoon stroll. We met the gorillas in a clearing playing and eating all the time – amazing to observe!
Due to our local guide who spoke excellent German we had the possibility to get in contact with local people and their culture and traditions easily. So we learnt a lot about the daily life in Uganda.
Both countries are a great spot for safaris and not so crowed. They can easily compete with Kenia, Tansania and other hot spots. I prefer these smaller places!

We had a great time in Uganda with Speke Holidays and our Guide David. Everyday was beautiful and we got many different impressions and information about that beautiful country. We saw a lot of different landscapes and animals and we really enjoyed our Holidays. Our Lodges were great and we could relax in the evenings surrounded by beautiful nature. We are thankful for the time and say thanks to Speke Uganda Holidays :)

Uganda - spectacular country, diverse wildlife, wonderful people
5/5

We were extremely satisfied with our safari on every level.
Firstly, our guide Eric was a lovely person and very knowledgeable about gorillas, having undertaken gorilla habituation himself, but also about local economics, politics, social issues etc so we had lots of interesting conversations along the way. He was also an expert wildlife spotter and we are still stunned at how he managed to spot tree-climbing lions over half a kilometre away with the naked eye - whilst driving!
The standard of accommodation was above our expectations and we especially enjoyed the Birds Next Lodge at Lake Bunyonyi and the Kasenyi Safari Camp.
The variety of wildlife experiences was excellent with chimp tracking, games drives and birdlife on top of the gorilla tracking, whereas many safaris we looked at were offering gorillas only.
The country itself is spectacular and the scenery - mountains, jungles, tea plantations, deep red soil - it worth seeing in its own right.
Lastly, we found the Ugandan people to be extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and polite and made our trip a wonderful experience overall.
I strongly recommend this safari to those considering it.

Unforgettable honeymoon experience
5/5

First of all, we would like to thank the whole team for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience. We arrived rather late at night at Entebbe and was greeted by a warm, German speaking staff of yours. We reached the first hotel -even though it was not what we expected from the itinerary-we had a nice view of the lake victoria. The next day, we were greeted by our super talented guide, Brian. We were so touched to receive the handmade booklets, uganda coffee beans and some maps and brochure for our trip. We really appreciate the gesture from the team. Once we were seated, Brian drove us to Kabale, where we were to stay a night before our epic encounter with the mountain gorillas in the bwindi forest (the gorilla experience was really amazingly organised) Brian was a very knowledgable guide and we learned a great deal from talking with him -We learned about different animals, birds and plants that we encountered, and most of all, we learned to deeply appreciate Uganda - its people, culture and nature. At the end of our stay, the company even gave us a small parting gift for our honeymoon! It's really sweet and generous of them!!! I couldn't recommend this team enough for making our trip so unforgettable!! Thank you!
