Best African Safari we have ever had
We do not have enough words to explain how great this African safari was. Our safari was a 10 day Kenya and Tanzania. We enjoyed every moment of this safari. When we contacted ToKenya last year, we wanted to see the great migration, the big five, cheetah, elephants, and do hot air balloons. They suggest us this itinerary and it was amazing. Our best moment was witnessing the great wildebeest migration. We were able to camp on both Serengeti and Masai Mara which gave us the best experience. Our guide was very smart. He always knew the best time and place to go so as we could capture the right moment. I will never forget the migration. I must be back in Kenya for more. We spent 2 days at Amboseli as well, and food, camps, guides all were 10/10.

Best African Safari so far!
Our 10 day Kenya safari with ToKenya safaris is the best we have ever had. There are many reasons. The first one is the ease of planning. We were not alone in this. ToKenya Safaris helped use plan everything from the moment we showed interested. We exchanged countless emails, we had calls, we requested several changes and they were patient. Until we go a safari that was customized to our desire. We wanted more than just seeing animals. We wanted interactions, experiencing the local life, and doing night drives. Our consultant recommended an itinerary that would take care of all that by visiting the best National Parks, like Masai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo. During our safari, we got a chance to do several night drives which fantastic. Our guide was very kind and smart. We visited local markets, and masai village. I cannot forget to mention that we did a Hot Air Balloon drive. Seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs and other animals from a hot air balloon was breathtaking. The giraffe center was the highlight of our safari. Interacting with giraffes, feeding them and getting photos was epic. Thank you ToKenya Safaris.

Mt Kenya, Amboseli, Tsavo & Kenya Coast
Text -Our 8 day safari started in Mt Kenya then on to Nairobi. Amboseli and Tsavo. It ended at Diani beach on the Kenya Coast. The entire trip we amazing and perfect. We worked with Charles on the arrangements and logistics. Our safari was well organized and truly fun. Our guide Michael was great and particularly knowledgeable about animals. He showed us 4 of the big 5 as well as many other wonderful animals. The country side was stunning. Michael had binoculars in the vehicle which allowed to see so much. We stayed at Amboseli Serena, Elementaita Serena and Mara Serena. They were all very comfortable and at beautiful place. The food was very good also. Our vehicle was upgraded to 4x4 which made us feel very special. We took the SGR train from Voi to Mombasa. It was lots of fun. In Mombasa we were met up by George who drove us to our beach resort. They were all very professional and kind. Thank you very much ToKenya Safari. We look forward to coming back soon.

Exceptional Safari Company!!!
We took a group to Africa on a photography Safari and deeply appreciated the professionalism shown by the ToKenya Safaris team. Our guide Juma was simply amazing and super hard working. His knowledge of the animals made all the difference. Every day he laid out the perfect game plan of where to go and set up.
Charles was very helpful in organizing the trip and went above the call of duty to take care of each and every detail. I plan to do more trips with them in the future.

Up close!
We did a 10 day safari with ToKenya.com during which we saw so many animals we stopped counting. The tented camps were all lovely and comfortable. We absolutely loved our guide. He was great and very focused on making sure we saw all the Big 5. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the elusive Leopard. In our exploration we managed to get so close to the animals, we could almost touch them.

Third Time and Counting
This was our third safari with ToKenya Safari. It gets better with each visit. It feels like meeting old friend. We always travel with George who now knows us well. And exactly what we like to do and what where we like to visit. Our favorites are Ol Tukai at Amboseli. Sweetwaters at Ol Pejeta. Elementaita Camp and Mara Serena Lodge. Just perfect!

Bucket List Trip
We spent a week at Governors camp in the Mara. Every aspect of our stay was amazing. Our resident guide Olekena from the Maasai people is extremely knowledgeable and cultured. The camp is serene and beautiful. The food excellent. The service outstanding. This ranks as one of the most amazing adventures of my life. We saw so many incredible animals and Olekena was so full of information and gracious with his time. Governors Camp is arguably the best base from which to explore the Mara in depth. I’m glad we decided to stay at one location instead of traveling all over.

Amazing 8 Days with Michael of ToKenya Safaris
Our group of 6 just returned from 8 days touring some of the most amazing places in Kenya we could possibly imagine. We were fortunate Michael was assigned to us. He was the perfect guide for us. This guys has amazing eye sight and the confidence of someone who has done this for a while. He provided keen insight when we asked questions and understands the intimate behaviors of the animals we wanted to see. Examples of this happened on our very first day of game viewing. An elephant made movements near our vehicle. Michael stopped and told us the elephant was signaling his intent to cross the road. At the same time another vehicle in front kept blocking the elephant oblivious to the cues. Michael knowingly backed up very slowly. Sure enough the elephant crossed in front of us. The next we were watching a sleeping leopard. Nearby a female hyena was pacing about. Quietly Michael told us something was about to go down. The leopard smelling the hyena got up. While the other cars stayed still, Michael slowly made a u-turn allowing us to see up close this gorgeous leopard saunter across the road towards the hyena was. Only our vehicle got that close-up view of the leopard, all because of Michael’s amazing instincts.
We benefitted from Michael’s experience and sense of humor. Spending 8 days with him gave us deep respect for a true professional who loves his job. We highly recommend ToKenya Safari and ask for Michael if he is available."

Fantastic experience with our guide George
We had safari with our guide George. His goal was to make sure that we saw as many different animals as possible. On our first drive we saw elephants, giraffes, many buffalos, zebras and also cheetahs. On the next day his focus was searching for rhinos, lions and leopards. Because of his efforts we got to see all the big five. George told us captivating stories about animals and their behavior. This made the game viewing that much more fun. We hope to come back next year.

Amazing Images
I have been on many safaris. My favorite animal photos come from evening sunset drives. I’m able to capture so much more my professional cameras than you can with an iPhone. The end results were well worth the extra effort hauling my equipment around.
