Excellent tour with Blue Crane
We went in a 15 day highlights of Namibia tour for small group in November. It turned out that we were only 2 as some others had to cancel, so it was like a private tour for us. When arranging the trip Derek always answered our questions immediately and it all went were smoothly to book. Our guide Sammy was excellent in every way, a lot of knowledge and experience and a good sense of humour. He made sure everything went smoothly and did everything to make our trip a wonderful experience. All the lodges and hotels were beautiful as well as the food being top class. We travelled over 4.000 km and saw an amazing variety of scenery and landscapes, as well as learning about the different cultures in different parts of the county. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blue Crane Safaris

Fantastic experience in Namibia with Blue Crane Safaris
Excellent service all round - couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From initial communications with Derek who helped to advise us through a suggested itinerary and route, was accommodating to our budget, happy to make any changes and provide alternatives when asked, and provided ongoing communications and information up until our departure date. The trip itself was fantastic - our guide Frank could not have been more knowledgeable, kind and helpful, and certainly contributed to make our holiday such a memorable experience. 19 day self drive through Namibia and Botswana
A very positive experience with Blue Crane. We had a wonderful 19 day self-drive through Namibia and Botswana, all arranged with Blue Crane. The 2
vehicles were very comfortable and perfect for handling the occasional significant deep sand or mud. The accommodation was mostly great (apart from places where there wasn’t any better to be had). The agency was always available and responsive to any questions, including assisting us to replace the loss of both number plates off one vehicle very efficiently just prior to crossing the border. A basically hassle free, fun safe adventure for a bunch of middle aged people :)
Also good value for money.

Everything - from the drives, scenery, wildlife, accommodation, restaurants, etc. - was beyond anything we had imagined. Our guide looked out at every corner to make sure we were safe, enjoying ourselves, and experiencing Namibia to the fullest extent. FLEXIBLE AND WELL ORGANISED
Arriving in Walvis Bay on our yacht,the crew of SV Moonbird were looking forward to exploring the Namibian desert.
We found Blue Crane were the only tour company willing to create a bespoke tour for the 5 of us at short notice. Our guide, Sydnie, collected us from the waterfront and thus began a brilliant and packed tour itinerary that took us to all the main sites we had been hoping for. Sydnie was extremely knowledgeable, and his kind and friendly manner made the trip very enjoyable, and his driving was excellent. We really enjoyed staying at the desert lodge, and the sunset drive. We even had an afternoon cooling off in the pool. All the facilities and partner organisations were top notch. Sydnie even arranged a birthday cake for one of our party!
