Gorilla Trekking
5/5

On a short note I decided to use Travel Hemispheres for a trip in Uganda to Bwindi to do Gorilla Trekking and see the Tree Climbing Lions.

As I had bad experience, they were ok with me only paying the Gorilla license and after they sent me the license I paid the balance.
I went on a budget trip, but the accomodations were very nice!
The guide Vincent was very experienced and full of experience he shared with me!

Thanks for the trip!

Adventure in safety
4/5

Travel Hemispheres has a very fast efficient and polite back office (Florence). I needed information about the type of vehicle, about how to tip, and even how to pay using Pesapal - all swiftly answered. As a woman travelling alone my experienced guide (Vincent) made sure I was well looked after at all times, and he was patient and knowledgable in answer to my many questions on the long road to Bwindi from Kampala. Gift of Nature Lodge was comfortable, clean and simple, with delightful young staff. A long way off the beaten track, it was surrounded by mountains and stunning views at the end of a very remote village. Beautiful! The highlight was tracking gorillas and seeing them at play and rest in their natural setting, well protected and secure under the watchful protection of local wardens. Slithering down a steep mountain side was unexpected, but I survived (!). Take strong boots and a walking pole!

Locally owned tour company that works hard to create a customer's ideal trip.
4/5

We did a 3 day gorilla trek with them. Locally owned tour company that seems to work hard to fulfill the customer's needs and wishes. Their communication prior to the trip was good but not excellent. I had to follow up once or twice myself to confirm some details and while they provided a good amount of information prior to the trip I still had to ask additional questions to make sure I knew 100% what was going to happen. The I equipment was in good condition and very comfortable. The driver was very experienced 15+ years driving and went out of his way at times to fulfill requests that weren't necessarily part of his job (ex: buying a local newspaper for us, stopping many times in an attempt to find a seasonal food, etc). I would use them again!

Best Gorilla Tracking Adventure in Uganda
4/5

y daughter, brother and I had our tour custom organized to fit our very short stay in Uganda. The purpose of the trip was to track gorillas. Travel Hemisphere took care of all the arrangements from pickup and return to Entebbe Airport. We went to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and stayed at the Ruhija Rest Camp Community. Our driver/tour guide, Edward was fantastic. He was very informative and was able to arrange a few changes to our itinerary that came up along the way. This was one of my dream come true trips and it turned out better than I could imagine. I would recommend Travel Hemisphere for all your travel needs. They are quick to respond to all your inquiries and needs. Thank you Florence, Fred and Edward for a perfect beginning to our Africa travels.
