Excellent trip to Elephant Coast
Well looked after in adance of the trip and pleasently surprised at the amount of contact during the trip rather than 'being abandoned' once the trip started. Felt safe and supported throughtout from planning through to being there.
I cannot reccomend Katie and this company more. Katie heard our likes and dislikes, designed a trip around these, adjusted as requested, made suggestions and gave us a real trip of a lifetime.

A second tailor made trip, perfectly arranged by Tailor Made Safaris
All our wishes have been fullfilled in our second trip that Angela has made for us. No question was too much and we did get a quick response every time. The knowledge about the accomodations and safari options proposed was great. The complete trip was filled with highlights of the Elephant Coast.
Two weeks before our trip we received an amazing personalized photo album. Everything necessary was found within the book, meaning we did not have to bring any loose paperwork with us. The accommodations and safaris were amazing. And so was the contact with our advisor Angela! We definitely recommend this company!

We have had a mar-ve-lous trip; perfectly organized, full of enthusiasm, empathy and the willingness to arrange a great deal. The manual that is the travel book, I call it our magic book, opened almost all doors. Almost all information was perfect; coordinates, distances, circumstances, tips, recommended departure times and additional information. The fact that employees are familiar with most accommodations keeps the lines very short. Angela was always "close by" and available almost all day and night; always willing to support. She even visited us at the lodge in St. Lucia. We particularly appreciated that.
Small, but very useful or important tips indicate that they have really thought about everything. Remarks about possible salt in the photo equipment for whale watching; and there even being a rain program, which we did not have to use.
To criticize anything on traveling is almost impossible which is the "problem" for your organization; to maintain this enormously high level in the coming years. Good luck with that, but you are guaranteed to succeed.

A 10+ for our experience with Tailor Made Safaris. From beginning to end it exceeded our expectation
We came into contact with them through the holiday fair in Holland and were impressed with their presentation. We booked the Elephant Coast safari with them and the communication with them ( what do we want, budget) was without any problem. I also liked the personal contact with them. When we arrived in Durban our suitcases where left behind. They immediately took over and arranged everything for us and kept us posted so we knew what was going on and later the same day the suitcases arrived in our lodge. Al we needed to do was to enjoy our time there. The fact that we received a beautiful travelbook together with the phone and navigation was perfect. Step by step was very wel explained in the book. We truly felt their involvement. We have already decided that in two years time we will book another holiday with them. I can recommend Tailor Made Safaris to everybody. It was an unknown area and we felt looked after and very well taken care of.
Communications were always prompt and especially on a self drive we always felt there was someone we could contact if we needed to. Fortunately we did not. but the comfort factor was good.
GPS phone and coordinates worked well, always accurate especially where road signs were lacking.

Tailor Made Safaris were able to make my plans work, where I couldn't do it on my own.
Tailor Made Safaris put together a tour package with exactly the places I wanted to go. They were able to provide all the transportation between camps and to and from the airport. I knew where I wanted to stay and they put it all together for me. Every thing went as planned. I would recommend them without hesitation.

EXCELLENT TRIP

Excellent tour company who do as their name suggests and 'tailor made' our holiday to suit our needs
Excellent tour company who do as their name suggests and 'tailor made' our holiday to suit our needs. Communication was always prompt and all questions answered. We were provided with all the information we needed to ensure a wonderful and well organised holiday. Self drive was easy with clear instructions and coordinates included with a sat-nav phone. Highlights were Tembe Lodge, in Tembe Elephant Park and Didima Camp in the Drakensburg Mountains. Wonderful trip.
