Absolutely fantastic service and knowledge of Africa and advise given to make easy traveling solo.
Everything lived up to my expectations, all connection, transfers, and meet and greets works perfectly and made for a perfect experience. The accommodation that was recommended was great, the food wonderful, the whole experience was just as I had hoped for. I would highly recommend Wild Africa Travel Company and shall be booking my next trip with them with no hesitation. As a solo traveller all my needs were catered for.
One of the trips of a lifetime with heaps of animals, top class service and amazing experiences.
At every point during the organisation, planning and the trip itself, we found our experience excellent. The service and accommodations were great, with our more budget-conscious selections very adequate, whilst the more up-market accommodations we selected were top class. The guides (whose expertise you really depend on), the driving, boating and walking tours we did were fantastic - we saw "the big 5" within a just a couple of days, and kept seeing them, and so much more, for our entire trip to South Africa, Zambia and Botswana. We had great, (extremely) up-close and personal experiences with lions, hippos, leopards, buffalo, elephants, giraffes and rhinos as well as lots of other animals.
The scenery everywhere was spectacular and our trip to Victoria Falls for 3 days was fantastic (do the heli-flight and visit a local Zambian village, preferably for church on a Sunday).
It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we discovered that the company arranged for a very special, surprise, private, champagne dinner for two for our last night in paradise. Such personalized service!!
What a great continent, great people, great scenery and wildlife, all done and presented very, very well. We commend Wild Africa Travel Company to everyone who wants a special, trip of a lifetime!

Total experience was absolutely fabulous.
Everything was extremely well organized. The booking service with Robert was first class. The choices with accommodation were of an excellent standard and the safaris that were arranged showcased the wildlife. Motswari was a fabulous 4 days, everyone took an interest in your stay from the manager David, our guide Chad and tracker Difference, the receptionists and staff. When out on safari you were never rushed away from sightings. Our flights, transfers and other day tours that Robert had recommended all went smoothly. On our return Robert made contact about our experience and was interested to hear about the trip. We would highly recommend Wild Africa Travel Company for anybody interested in going to Africa as they plan to your requirements.

amazing wildlife service food accomodation and price great value. fantastic guides
High quality and professional tour group exceeded our expectations in every way
Amazing experience
The Wild Africa Travel Company were very accommodating when we requested a change to the original itinery.
We are so glad we got to get a variety of accommodation and safari's. Each was unique and we saw new animals every day. (like the honey badger, wild dogs, Cameleon) With the private safaris you get closer to the animals with less vehicles around but in Kruger there was plenty of animals around the river and surrounds.
Out of all the accomodation we stayed in, the Hilltop Lodge was the best. Once the water hole gets established the view will be even more amazing. Still needs a little work on food/wine service but it is still a very new facility. The guides were incredibly informative.
Unfortunately just before we went to Kruger Park they had a large fire around our lodges there. But incredibly there were still plenty of animals to view.
We went to Hilltop Lodge, then Motswari before going to Rhino Safari lodge and Plains Camp. This was our choice but on reflection I would recommend doing it the other way around as per the internet advertisement itinery.
We loved our experience.

Experience with Wild Africa
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Africa for the first time and as an overall experience it was very good. We were however disappointed with the travelling arrangements in South Africa. A min-bus is just not big enough for some one 195 cm tall. The Cullinan in Cape Town whilst a good place to stay for a short business trip is not really suitable for tourists. We were very disappointed with the Kigio Conservancy, so much so that we cut short our stay there and went into Nairobi at our cost instead. Also stated travel times in the itinerary for East Africa were nothing like the actual times taken. Apart from Kigio the service we received everywhere was first class.

Great company to deal with, offering personalised service and knowledge of Africa
WATC provided excellent service from the time I made the first enquiry through to receiving documentation. Their personal knowledge of the areas of interest was very helpful in deciding what to book and in reassuring me that the trip would be safe and smooth going. Every package in every area was just right for us
The Zambezi Sun Hotel at Victoria Falls was interesting and comfortable with lots of Zebras walking around during the day. The 3 nights gave us time to relax as well as see the area and animals. Chobe National Park lodge was my favourite because it was so pretty on the river with the highlight being the number of elephants and hippopotamus we saw. Motswai Safari Park in Kruger was special because the accomodation was not only very african style and the food good, but the personal attention by staff was amazing. We had 2 safaris /day and the guides always found the animals we asked to see. We saw all of the Big Five in 2 nights stay. I have come home wanting more and am happy to use WATC again
Hassle Free, great dining and close encounters with many wild animals!!!
Landed in one of the cold months, needed good wind barrier - warm garments early morning and night game drives - freezing in the morning. (The Guides etc had various blankets too aboard their vehicles..)! Left the vehicles to go on "foot" at a couple of places which definitely was a great experience .., got quite close to two Leopards on one occasion due to being quiet and down wind.. Simply fantastic to be there and see them approx 30 meters from where we stood! Saw many other animals too but the Leopards really will stay with me!!!
The food we had was great, dined on a different variety of meat each night, always a good selection of sides and puddings and at the places we stayed the service was second to none.
All our transiting to fro went without a hitch and well on time thanks to Robert...

My whole experience with Wild Africa was fantastic, Robert was very helpful.
Overall our experience was wonderful, organising the trip with Robert was hassle free and he was very helpful with any questions we had. we felt the trip was very well organised.
We felt very safe most of the time and for two women travelling alone this was huge for us. Our drivers were incredible they made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. The people in Kenya and Tanzania where lovely so friendly and approachable, the accommodation considering it was in the middle of no where was great felt very clean we were impressed. The food on a whole was nice we really enjoyed the way meals are arranged in Kenya and Tanzania being included in your stay it makes it so much easier to just relax and enjoy yourself.
The activities in Kenya and Tanzania where amazing experiences that we will remember for the rest of our lives and we feel so privileged to have been able to experience them. The only activity I didn't enjoy was the Masi Mara Village tour, I felt very uncomfortable the whole time and I was made to feel like I had to purchase their souvenirs. It felt like a tourist trap and I was being taken advantage of because I was young female and traveling without a male relative. I would never recommend this activity to anyone and in future I think this needs to be explained better to tourists. Also we weren't really told how much "tipping" is expected, being Australian we don't really tip in our country and we weren't prepared or aware of how this is done. I think this needs to be added to you information about the two countries so tourist know to travel with lots of small notes. and how much to give for each services.
Next we went to Zimbabwe, apart from Victoria falls I didn't like the whole experience really, I felt unsafe, the food was awful, the people unhappy and rude and the hotel room unclean. I have no intention of ever go back there.
Botswana was better but still not as good as Kenya and Tanzania don't feel like it was worth the extra money and effort to go there.
Overall I believe Wild Africa organised a wonderful holiday for us and we already have told so many people about your company and recommended your service. we would defiantly travel with Wild Africa again!

I chose Wild Africa for my Garden Route tour because your itinerary had more to offer than others.
My Wild Africa experience began when I researched tours on the net...your tour appealed to me and from my frequent contacts with Robert, who always promptly attended to any queries, I felt I had chosen wisely.
My driver/guide Chris collected me and immediately set the tone for the next 4 days by being an excellent driver and informative guide. He always gave me a complete rundown on the days activities, was very considerate in making sure I had regular comfort stops, was protective in his advice of do's and dont's for my free time...he obliged me several times with photo stops, was always on time and dutifully made sure I didn't miss out on anything, despite the fact that I was the only passenger...this proved to be a bonus as I had unlimited time to bombard him with questions and endless chatter.
Wild Africa exceeded my expectations tenfold...I loved your program...the Bufflesdrift Safari Lodge and game drive was a wonderful inclusion to appreciate the African experience.
Your tour had such a variety of activities included, that it was full on each day....I loved it all.
Wild Africa Garden Route tour, though not the cheapest, gave me a wonderful insight into your country and it's customs, and I will long remember the experience. Your tour was indeed value for money.
Thanks to your Australian agent in Robert...he is an asset to your company. Chris believes in his Africa, and truly likes his work, and it shows in the excellent way he explains his Africa, so that I , as a visitor, can get the best experience..not only from seeing your magnificent scenery...like Storm River mouth....but have a better insight into the African way of life.
Thank you to all at WA company....you have made me want to return soon.
