Great communication, hassle-free, thanks heaps
Terrific photographic tour in Botswana, booked through Wild Africa Travel. Dealing with an Australian company and being able to pay in Aussie dollars was a bonus.

Very professional company and Robert was very happy to explore options for us.
Wild Africa was a very profession friendly company to deal with. Robert promptly attended to our enquiries and investigated issues he did not immediately know the answers to. The trip was an amazing experience and well organised.

Amazing agency to deal with. Robert was an absolute delight. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!
If you want to deal with an travel agent that LISTENS to what you want, and tries his best to deliver the experience you are dreaming of.....Robert of Wild Africa Travel is your man. We had never travelled to Africa before and this was a holiday we had always wanted to do. We always plan and organise our own holidays, but my husband saw a deal that Wild Africa Travel were advertising. It was a 9 day South Africa Safari holiday. My husband sent through an enquiry and Robert contacted us. Robert listened to everything we wanted to experience, and we ended up extending the holiday to 21 days. We did our homework and were also liaising with another agent at the same time as Robert. We were comparing the suggestions both agents offered and there was no comparison. Robert was listening and planning our holiday to what we requested. The other agent was completely off-base and had clearly not understood what we wanted to do (we were emailing both agents with the same instructions, so how one could get it so wrong amazed us). We finally booked with Wild Africa Travel. We knew all the way along, that our booking was being managed because as our holiday was approaching and we were being asked questions. When our itinerary arrived, we received a printed copy presented in travel wallets, a emailed copy and also a link to an awesome app call "Umapped". I like to have a hard copy of our travel docs (for my piece of mind) but having access to our itinerary and all the up to date information Umapped provided was great. It contains weather link, contact details, maps etc. We both loved and appreciated how user friendly the app was. Our holiday was, I believe, the best holiday we have had (my husband includes it in his top two). The most two amazing places we stayed were Rhino Walking Safaris and Motswari Private Game Reserve. Two completely different types of accommodation, both with unforgettable experiences. Rhino Walking Safaris was a tented camp (more like glamping) as tents had ensuites and decks with seats, but being able to walk in the bush, with a small group (max 8) and 2 guides was exhilarating, especially as it was our first up and close Rhino encounter. Plus the guides were walking books of knowledge. Motswari Private Game Lodge was thatched roof dwellings, beautifully decorated with full bathrooms, desk and sitting area. We saw our very best game viewing here. Rhinoa, lions and a leopard along with all the other animals, seen at Rhino Walking Safaris which included, giraffe, zebra, elephant, Kudu, loads of Impala etc. Food and staff, in both locations, was exceptional. The other places we stayed at were great too but I could keep writing and these two places were the absolute stand outs for the experience they provided. So thank you Robert and Wild Africa Travel for organising this truly awesome holiday for us to sit back and enjoy. Cheers :)

Perfectly planned 5 week holiday
Robert at Wild Africa assisted us to plan an amazing 5 week holiday in Africa - Cape Town, Rwanda & Uganda to see the gorillas, two week safari in Tanzania & Kenya to see the migration, climbing Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar and Victoria Falls. It took about two months (via email) to finalise our itinerary. Robert was very patient throughout the numerous iterations and eventually came up with something that was perfect for us. Keeping in mind the difficulties of traveling in some parts of Africa, our holiday was faultlessly organised. No unpleasant surprises. Everything (organised events, transfers etc) happened as per the itinerary. All of the ground operators that Wild Africa placed us with (Jenman Safaris for the safari, Umurbano Tours for the gorillas, Africa Scenic Safaris for Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Balloon Safaris for hot air ballooning over the Serengeti) we all very professional. We felt safe and well-looked after the whole time.
I would happily recommend Wild Africa to anyone.

Wild Africa Safaris and Jenman provide the perfect introduction to your first experience of Africa
After our extensive research, the varied itinerary for our 18 day adventure in Zimbabwe (the falls, Hwange NP, Matobo Hills-rhinos, Madigapani salt pans-meerkats, Nata bird sanctuary-flamingoes), Botswana (Chobe NP, Khwai, Kalahari desert, Okavunga delta) and South Africa (Kruger NP) was amazing, especially for active over 60s, who have travelled extensively. In addition to game drives, we had a walking safari, mokoro / canoe trip, stayed on a house boat, and saw ancient cave paintings plus Victoria Falls. The lodges and glamping were much better than expected, especially Nantwich, Mankwe and Maqueda. No children. Maximum group size 12 (9 on our tour-all English speaking). Delicious food (except the optional mopane worms). Fantastic value for money. I highly recommend using Robert Francis of Wild Africa Safaris, Australia to taylor make your tour. He is extremely efficient and a great communicator. We booked our tour before covid and Robert maximised our refunds

Robert was very professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
What an amazing African safari trip! Robert provided our group with a fantastic itinerary, including beautiful lodges, unique houseboat experiences, luxurious tents and plenty of scrumptious meals. All our guides were so informative and friendly, and the safari's were exceptional. In terms of service and communication from Robert, he is definitely one of the best travel providers I've come across. Well done.

Seamless Travel experience great food hotels and sights
Great, everything ran like clockwork with minimum input from us linkups just happened. Hotels were very comfortable and food was good. Travel guides were very companionable and made the tours fun. Safaris were wonderful although quite cool in the early mornings animal sightings were frequent and we managed to see the big five as well as african wild dogs. Our tours were well combined we did Victoria Falls and Chobe NP, South Africa down the Garden route and took the Premier Classe train from Capetown to Joburg

I chose Wild Africa for my Garden Route tour because your itinerary had more to offer than others.
My Wild Africa experience began when I researched tours on the net...your tour appealed to me and from my frequent contacts with Robert, who always promptly attended to any queries, I felt I had chosen wisely.
My driver/guide Chris collected me and immediately set the tone for the next 4 days by being an excellent driver and informative guide. He always gave me a complete rundown on the days activities, was very considerate in making sure I had regular comfort stops, was protective in his advice of do's and dont's for my free time...he obliged me several times with photo stops, was always on time and dutifully made sure I didn't miss out on anything, despite the fact that I was the only passenger...this proved to be a bonus as I had unlimited time to bombard him with questions and endless chatter.
Wild Africa exceeded my expectations tenfold...I loved your program...the Bufflesdrift Safari Lodge and game drive was a wonderful inclusion to appreciate the African experience.
Your tour had such a variety of activities included, that it was full on each day....I loved it all.
Wild Africa Garden Route tour, though not the cheapest, gave me a wonderful insight into your country and it's customs, and I will long remember the experience. Your tour was indeed value for money.
Thanks to your Australian agent in Robert...he is an asset to your company. Chris believes in his Africa, and truly likes his work, and it shows in the excellent way he explains his Africa, so that I , as a visitor, can get the best experience..not only from seeing your magnificent scenery...like Storm River mouth....but have a better insight into the African way of life.
Thank you to all at WA company....you have made me want to return soon.

My whole experience with Wild Africa was fantastic, Robert was very helpful.
Overall our experience was wonderful, organising the trip with Robert was hassle free and he was very helpful with any questions we had. we felt the trip was very well organised.
We felt very safe most of the time and for two women travelling alone this was huge for us. Our drivers were incredible they made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. The people in Kenya and Tanzania where lovely so friendly and approachable, the accommodation considering it was in the middle of no where was great felt very clean we were impressed. The food on a whole was nice we really enjoyed the way meals are arranged in Kenya and Tanzania being included in your stay it makes it so much easier to just relax and enjoy yourself.
The activities in Kenya and Tanzania where amazing experiences that we will remember for the rest of our lives and we feel so privileged to have been able to experience them. The only activity I didn't enjoy was the Masi Mara Village tour, I felt very uncomfortable the whole time and I was made to feel like I had to purchase their souvenirs. It felt like a tourist trap and I was being taken advantage of because I was young female and traveling without a male relative. I would never recommend this activity to anyone and in future I think this needs to be explained better to tourists. Also we weren't really told how much "tipping" is expected, being Australian we don't really tip in our country and we weren't prepared or aware of how this is done. I think this needs to be added to you information about the two countries so tourist know to travel with lots of small notes. and how much to give for each services.
Next we went to Zimbabwe, apart from Victoria falls I didn't like the whole experience really, I felt unsafe, the food was awful, the people unhappy and rude and the hotel room unclean. I have no intention of ever go back there.
Botswana was better but still not as good as Kenya and Tanzania don't feel like it was worth the extra money and effort to go there.
Overall I believe Wild Africa organised a wonderful holiday for us and we already have told so many people about your company and recommended your service. we would defiantly travel with Wild Africa again!
