Exceeding expectations
We did 3-Day Selous Game Reserve of Beaten Truck with Kanuth.
Communication with Jesca was extremely smooth and professional.
High level of safety thanks to very good car & experienced driver.
Camp with shower, very nice caregivers and delicious food - river on one side, forest on the other.
We were impressed with number of animals we saw in one day just thanks to great Kanuth's experience - nothing is problem for these guys.
It was something awesome and unforgettable.
If we go again to Africa for safari, we will definitely go again with Kanuth.

Fantastic safari: Vumi and Eric for the win
My wife and I did a four day/three night camping safari in Tarengire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. The itinerary was well-designed to spread out the driving time between locations and optimize the game driving portions. Our guide, Vumi, was extremely knowledgeable and had excellent English. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He knew the animals and birds and managed to site is everything we had hoped to see including two leopards, four prides of lions, a cheetah, a close pass by of a black rhino (though Vumi admitted that we lucked out: he said he hadn't seen a black rhino pass over the road bedside the vehicle in 5 years).
The vehicle and accommodation were nothing fancy but totally functional. The campsites were all very good: we had expected much less luxury. The first camp had wifi and all had showers, with 2/3 heated. The views at two of the camps were very impressive. There only thing we would do differently would be to try to camp at the first place rather than taking... Read more the surprise 'upgrade' to an 'African igloo' shelter: it was very stuffy and hot. We would have preferred a tent.
Eric, our cook, did a fantastic job. He was laid back and friendly. The meals were tasty, better than some of the nicer restaurants we tried in Tanzania! The quantities were all huge: more than we could handle!
Over all, we would recommend Vumi and Eric to anyone. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

More than expected- an unforgettable experience
I booked a three day trip to Mikumi, I was picked up promptly at my hotel in Dar Es Salaam. My guide was very accommodating and and an excellent host. This was a trip I wanted to do for years and the wildlife sightings were abundant and fantastic. The rig was ideal for for the safari. Accommodations were great, Made it back to the airport in plenty of time, Office staff was very helpful in helping me plan my trip. Already thinking about my next trip. Highly recommended.

Way Exceeded My Expectations: Phenomenal
I went to Tanzania with a friend last week; Tanzania has always been high on my list and I'm a huge animal lover. I figured we would see a few animals, was hoping for lions and rhinos, and I assumed I would be dirty and sweaty and exhausted after 'roughing it' for 4 days. Not the case, at all! We saw every single animal, literally everything on my list, including a cheetah, leopard, and rhino which are the hardest to find. Our driver Vumi was an absolute professional, he's been doing it for 10 years, was extremely knowledgeable, and a very tactical driver. Our cook Eric was amazing, food was delicious and plenty, wasn't worried one bit about food poisoning, he could work at a 4-star restaurant. Overall I highly recommend Kanuth tours, I'm still on cloud 9 from that trip.

Above and Beyond- Great Experience of a Lifetime
I had a quick trip scheduled to Tanzania, and my group of 3 was able to book a tour with Kanuth. The bookings went flawlessly from start to finish. Kanuth made special arrangements to suit our schedule and requests for a night safari as well as morning safari. Mr. Kanuth drove our truck himself and was extremely knowledgeable about the types of plants and animals along the drive and within the park. He was very friendly and welcoming and was a wealth of knowledge about Mikumi National Park and Tanzanian culture in general. The entire experience with food and lodging included was well worth the price he offered, and I highly recommend booking through Kanuth Adventure Safaris.

Mikimu National Park with Kanuth Adventure Safaris
The safari we had at Mikimu National Park with Kanuth Adventure Safaris was an extraordinary experience. The vehicles have a pop-up roof, so while on a drive you can see 360 degrees around you!! Kanuths knowledge of the Tanzanian flora and fauna was impressive; his care for his passengers and attention to every detail was second to none. Without a doubt Kanuth made our safari a memory that will last a life time.

Even a 1-Day Safari is Worth the Trip
My group of 3 booked an overnight safari with Kanuth Adventure Safaris. Kanuth himself picked us up from our hotel in Dar es Salaam right on time. We drove to Mikumi National Park, had dinner, and a night drive, which Kanuth had a special permit for. We immediately saw wildlife, including elephants! The next morning we started early and saw many different species. Kanuth knew all sorts of interesting facts about wildlife, many of which I didn't even know, and I'm in the wildlife profession. After lunch, Kanuth drove us back to Dar es Salaam. Due to heavy traffic, we were running late, but Kanuth was very flexible and used his local knowledge of the area to get us straight to the airport in plenty of time. Overall, it was a great trip and I would take another safari with Kanuth anytime.

An Amazing Week
While booking and organising our safari 'Kanuth Adventure Safaris' were very helpful and ensured that we had all the required information before we arrived. The 4 days and 3 night camping safari was amazing. We saw so much and we had an excellent guide who knew all the best spots to view some of the animals (cheetah was the only animal we didn't see). Also, the chef cooked us fresh, good food daily and we were well fed during our stay. We would highly recommend this company.

Incredible experience with Kanuth
It was an incredible experience.
The pick up to in the airport was very good. Tony (driver) and Steve (chef) are very faunny and good boys. always on time, the route was exactlly as described. Only changed our accomodation, we stayed in a lodge not at Hyppo Camp, because of the raining season.
We took 3 safaris (boat - so incredible, car - very long safari, ten hours - and by feet for two hours in the nature descovering baobab and other trees.
The night at the lodge was so incredible quite and wondering, the bed were good. Meal quality very very good, thanks to Steve.
4 and 1/2 stars, not 5 only for the change of accomodation.

Amazing and good organized by Kanuth adventure Safaris
We booked the safari only one week before we went, but because it was low season that was not a problem at all. The good service started with the payment, because we got the opportunity to all pay separate and in different ways. By the time we arrived in Arusha we got picked up by Kanuths brother, who dropped us of at our hotel for free, so we didn't have to worry about finding our hotel for the night. Then the next morning we got picked up for the safari by our driver Vumi and our cook Eric. We were supposed to go to Tarangire National park, but because of the rainy season Vumi recommended us to go to Lake Manyara National Park, because he expected us to see more animals there. Vumi was a excellent and really experienced driver, who knew all the good places in the parks to see all kind of animals and also gave us a lot of information about the animals. The food our food Eric profited was also really good! For breakfast we got pancakes, fruit, eggs, toast and tea and coffee. For lunch we... Read more got a lunchbox every day which contained different things every day. For dinner we started with soup, after that we got a very tasty mainmeal (like spaghetti bolognese, rice with beefstew and chicken and rice). For dessert we got fruit. They also made sure we had enough water with the whole safari. We did a 4-day safari, so the first day we did Lake Manyara, the second and third day Serengeti and the last day we did the ngorongoro crater. After all it was amazing safari and we saw almost everything! We saw elephants, zebra's, girafs, lions, hippo's, rhino's, a lot of different kind of antilopes, crocodiles, leopards, flamingos, wildebeasts, buffelos, monkeys and hyena's! Kanuth was very helpful and the staff knows what they are doing. I can recommend everybody go to on safari with this company!
