The accommodation and provided food are fantastic. The driver always arrives on time. Overall, the safari tour is impressive.

Great Value for a Safari
The accommodations and food were far above our expectations. The game drives delivered on showing us a myriad of animals including cheetahs, leopards and lots of lions. The driving was good, but we weren’t given as much information about our itinerary or the animals as we wanted. The itinerary had us crisscrossing the country too much. I would have liked to have started at Amboseli, then spent more time in Masai Mara. The Lake Nakuru segment was too much driving and not worth while. But Karibu company went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. I’d book with them again. For a budget safari, you get an amazing experience.

Fast response, very reasonable price and excellent tour planning.
Over all our experiance is excellent. We worked with Robert and he gave us great service. He respond very quick and solve any problem or question we had with a reasonable time.
Our tour guide Aroni and Joel were very good. Robert and Aroni went out of their way to locate our missing luggage and bring to the park on the next day. They had to send someone back to the airport the next day. We were really treated as their guest and we are very thankful on that. What they did for us was more than what they have agreed to do for us.
Aroni was calm and he make sure we covered everything. In our opinion he was number one. I suggest you ask for him. He make sure your luggage are covered so they don't get dusty every time he loads it. He gave a true meaning to the "hakuna matata" saying. We had no worries while we were touring with him. He managed to help us see the big fives.
Robert helped as getting transportation on the extra day we had their in Nairobi. That was not part of the tour and he was even willing to send us someone to give us a city tour. Thanks for that too.
My only complain if any would be the hotel to be communicated better. They ask us pay and when we told them to call Robert. He took care of it right away. It seems like a communication gap between the hotel and victor who also work at the tour company. Victor apologized once he knew that he was wrong. Things like this could be irritating do be careful victor.
In general, we are very happy with the service and recommend this company to our friend and families with no hesitation.
Thanks for the job well done.

They were efficient communicating and they solved any problem that came up
Overall the Safari was really good. We ended up so happy with it. Our driver Arony was extremely good. He was very professional, did a wonderful job showing us the animals, and always was respectful and kind. We would love to come back with him in the future

Very nice experience for a budget safari (6 days Amboseli, Nakuru lake, Masai Mara)
Group of 3 (2 adults and a 13 year old girl)
Αlthough we had to reverse the route starting from Amboseli instead of Masai Mara as was the plan it was a very good experience. ΅ We saw many animals in Amboseli and Masai Mara (4 out of Big5, no Leopard) but not much of the lake Nakuru because of the heavy rain.
Edward (our driver) is a great tourguide with a lot of knowledge. Very kind and he told us interesting information about the animals as well as their habits. He had a good feeling when to stop for some photos and even when we had a special stopping request he always stopped for us.
We had great time in the parks, but be prepared to sit in a car for a long especially when moving from one park to another.
The food was ok but almost the same every day
This safari is not for anyone expecting comfort and luxury, but if your goal is to see amazing animals at an affordable price then do the tour
We recommend safari experience with Karibu and especially Edward as a driver.

Great experience! We saw the Big Five!
The communications were very well organised, the camp where we slept was also very nice. Our tent had a private toilet and a bed. The safari tour was also great, we saw many animals and cheetas hunt. It was very exciting!! I recommend it.

Great way to experience Kenya in a budget
I and my friend have recently done a 7-day tour with Karibu Safaris. The key takeaways are:
Positive:
a. Robert, the owner, was very responsive, straightforward and trustworthy. As promised, he sent someone for our airport pickup and provided us a complimentary night stay.
b. Edward, our driver and guide, was extremely knowledgeable with more than 10 years of experience in safari tours. He tried his best to get us to see wildlife in all the parks and was at hand to resolve any issues we faced.
c. Vegetarian food was available for us all through the tour.
Things which can be improved:
a. It appeared that the bookings for stay are on tentative basis. Thus, if the place mentioned in the itinery is full, the guide will search for other places. While this doesn't seem to be a common occurrence, it brings an element of uncertainty. We faced this in Naivasha.
b. The lodging in Amboseli (Kimana Camp) needs drastic improvement. The issued included no heated water, bathroom door not getting locked and on top of that the power line went kaput in early morning.
c. The tour works on hub and spoke model. So, you can be mixed and matched with another group during the tour. For example, an initial group may have two set of people going on 3 day and 7 day tour respectively. After 3 days, the first group will move to a different vehicle at a transit point and another group will join in or vice versa. While this is okay, it will be better if it can be communicated in advance.
Overall, it was a great experience visiting Kenya. The wildlife is amazing and the people, in general, were fine. For a budget tour, Karibu's 7 day tour is a wonderful experience.

Good budget option if you're short on time
Communication from the team was good both prior to and during the trip.
The schedule was kept to, and was made flexible by our driver who gave us options whilst on the tour.
The animals were great, and our driver did an excellent job of locating the best game and giving us amazing views.
We were a bit disappointed to see the driver littering whilst driving on the highway (not in the park). Being part of the "Ecotourism" group, I would have expected all staff to uphold higher standards on this subject.

Visits to the parks where amazing, resorts can be improved, driver where excellent
The content of the safari tour met our expectations and we enjoyed it. The standard of the camps was lower than expected.
Our driver Edward Som was very helpful and had good knowledge on how to find the best spots to view the animals.
