Safari is minimal in terms of conditions.
The vehicle was Oldest relative to other safari vehicles.
Unconventional tour coordination, planning was poor, not based on customer requirements, the driver wanted to finish as quickly as possible without taking additional sites. Edward and recommended his name to go with it.
Robert was not available to solve problems, and at the end of evaded answering the allegations.
There are other companies that drive safari, recommended to get them on trips in Kenya.

Thanks for the feed back,

I took sometime to make a follow up on your complain and questioned robert and edward and was told that all was well when you did the 4Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru(even the guest from Ukraine (Aleksandra) wrote a review immediately after getting dropped at the hotel from the safari, the whole problem started on the last day when you were taken to at the base of mount kenya to take photos and you demanded be taken for game drives which was not included in the package you were offered and when Edward asked you to confirm with your program and whats included you confirmed and saw it was not included, as for you to have game drives we had to pay park fees and car and driver park fees and Edward suggested that you pay the park fees and then you be taken for game drives which you declined and returned to Nairobi.

Robert on the given day was not around(Saturday) we usually send him out on the field over weekends for camp/accomodation inspections, but we sent Arony the driver guide that you went with the 4Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru and when he reached the hotel was told your out, he called you and you told him you were out and you will call him when you arrive which you did not.

About the safari vans we have the latest safari vans in kenya(wish could attached some of the photos) that's why many small safari operators trust us and give us there guests to join with ours to take on safari.

Sorry once again and i will do my investigation keenly and who ever will be held responsible has to be punished.

Regards

Msafiri

Amazing Safari! We have seen all the animals thank to our good driver. The camp was basic but very comfortable. I suggest to do the visit at the Masaai Village that is close to the park.

Great adventure and good price
5/5

We contact Karibu Safaris via email, Robert answered pretty fast the same day. We chose Karibu cause they had the cheaper price for a 4 day Safari to Masai Mara and Nakuru. They picked us up at 6:30 am as they told us cause our camp was a bit far. If this is your case be sure to be on time cause the traffic is terrible. We spent two hours to get to the city center. The van for the safari was ok, it's conditions wasn't the best though. And be prepared for 4 days of bumpy roads. Our driver was Isaac, he was friendly and helpful. The camp where we stayed was just outside Masai Mara Reserve and it was a beautiful and confortable place with big tents and beds, and the bathroom was ok too with hot water. Note that you would have power just a few hours during the day. The Masai Mara Reserve experience was awesome. We were able to see a cheetah hunting, lions, elephants, and many more. The hotel where we stayed in Nakuru was of very good quality too. And in the Nakuru park we were able to see rhinos and baboons. If you are on a budget I definitely recommend Karibu Safaris in Kenya.

Great option for budget travelers
5/5

I solo traveled to Kenya and decided to go with Karibu because of its competitive price, especially as a single traveler. I was lucky to have been paired with a great group of other travelers as well from all over the world. Robert was very quick to respond to any emails or questions. I booked 2 months in advance and did not know what to expect as it was my first time to Kenya. I did 2 nights in the Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru. There was some confusion at the tented lodge in the Mara, where they had overbooked and some people had to share a tent with a stranger when they were told they would get their own. Food was standard, although I would suggest that they have more non-meat options. The hotel in Lake Nakuru was excellent, with access to a pool as well as decent restaurant. One area I think Karibu could improve on would be the organization of the passengers. On our way back from the Mara we had to do a couple of passenger swaps based on who continued onto Nakuru which delayed things a bit. For the price, I think this was a great budget option. The drivers were also very friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff at Karibu Safaris are very kind. They totally lived up to our expectations. We had a very good trip and saw all the animals at the safari. Our driver was so cool and we felt protected when we were with him. Thank you for the experiences, I will definately recommend you to other people who are visiting Kenya.

Safari was one of the most wonderful things what had happened with me
5/5

Before Safari we had made investigation of few offices with their offers and choose Karibu because they have chipest price with good program. The living conditions were even better than we expected. Double bad in the individual tent with own bathroom!!! Everything clean, not a lot meal but tasty and enough for being full. But what was the most luckiest in our trip this is Arony driver. Thanks him to show us The Big 5 in 4 days and a lot of other rare animals. He has awesome experience around 20 years, he knows the all roads and shortest ways, he has good knowledges about all animals we saw and good understandable English to explain everything. Even in so dangers (with traffic) county as Kenya Arony shown us very good driver skills and we had staying safe all the trip without losing speed. What we definitely understood the main thing when you try to choose safari is the experience of your driver - without good driver you won't see something really interesting or will be stuck in the wet road. Just two things which I didn't like it is Naivasha lake and visiting Maasai village. They cost 20$ per person but I think it is too much and the driver should have clarify all additional visiting on the start of the trip.
