An amazing experience that we will never forget.
Karibu safaris in Kenya was is a great company. They are very easy and quick to communicate with and the safari was amazing. We went to 3 different parks and they were all very different and worth visiting. Our driver, Stanley, was great! He made sure we saw all animals from very close but with respect to the animals and their surroundings. I would definitely recommend this tour operator and ask for Stanley as the driver.

Excellent experience!
This tour experience was EXCELLENT, from our friendly and helpful guide Aroni, to the very comfortable "glamping" accommodations at the Mara, to the unique experience driving over the VERY rough roads both getting to and inside the reserve, to the surprisingly excellent (and vegetarian-friendly) meals provided throughout.
Having gone in March, the Mara wasn't as full of migrating animals as it is at other times of year, but Aroni was excellent at getting us up close to many of them nonetheless, including several sightings of elusive cats (lion and leopard). It turned out that we ended up seeing lots more than some others we chatted with at the camp who were part of other safari groups.
The one DISAPPOINTMENT of the trip is that the safari company needs to update the description of this safari. Due to geological changes that flooded the lake with lots of fresh water, Lake Nakuru is (sadly) no longer the flamingo-filled "Pink Lake" that it's claimed to be in the description. Visiting that park was still enjoyable, but I think the company needs to update either the safari itself or its description.
Finally, while we usually try to avoid expensive tours and plan our own trips, this is one where you NEED a tour! Driving in Kenya isn't for the faint of heart. Traffic, directions, road conditions, lack of reliable cell service (especially out in/near the Mara), and an inability to communicate with other safari drivers about sightings in the park are all important reasons to NOT go this one alone!

The tour exceeded the high expectations I had. Highly recommended.
Everything from the initial contact I made via email until the driver dropped us off in Nairobi at the end of the trip was excellent.
Our driver (Arony) was friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to spend our 4 day Masai Mara trip with. He got us into the best positions to see all the big animals up close, even taking into consideration the position of the sun for top quality photos! I felt he went beyond his duty to ensure we had a great experience.
The food, especially in the camp we stayed in, was delicious. The tents we stayed in were also of high quality. Better than I had expected.
All in all, if I was going to do a safari again in Kenya, I would choose Karibou again, and would request Arony as the driver.

Amazing 3day Safari to Masai Mara
I actually didn’t plan on doing a safari to Masai Mara cause I thought it would be way beyond my budget. I met some travelers who had done the trip with Karibu at a budget friendly price and they highly recommended it. Communication was excellent, Victor replies within minutes when he is online. We had one of those Matatu minibuses that lift the roof and we were 6 people and everybody could see well. As soon as we entered the park we saw elephants and also lions that first evening. The drivers of the minibuses all communicate with each other via radio- so es soon as sth interesting is spoted, our driver rushed there and we got really close to the animals. He didn’t talk much but was committed to showing us as much as possible! I never expected to see so much wildlife, it was amazing! The bandas were comfortable and clean, good beds and hot showers, the food was plenty and very tasty, everybody was very friendly and helpful!
The only downside was that due to the rains some parts where really muddy and we got stuck several times and the drivers had to pull each other out. Those minivans unfortunately don’t have 4WD. It sure added to be adventure though!

Good game, great food & accommodation and a fantastic guide
We went straight into the Mara for a drive on arrival, after freshening up and a cup of tea at the tented camp. To our delight we got to see a pride of 6/8 lions at close quarters.
The buffet dinner, sound night's sleep and friendly and attentive staff made for a relaxing night.
Next day we had a long game drive, where we spotted yet another pride of lions, elephants, girraffes, hyena and a host of other game. We had a lovely picnic lunch on the savanna, the veggies samosas were delicious. We also walked the Mara river, where the great migration takes place, we saw hippos, crocodiles and some very colorful gecko.
On the last day of thy game drive, we went to visit the Maasai village where we were greeted warmly with a dance, got a guided tour of the village and had a drink in the mayataa(traditional hut).
I couldn't recommend it more.
All the while our guide Arony took attentive care of us. We had great laughs and times.
