Great safari experience for the cost with Aroni, a skilled, attentive and kind driver.
It was an amazing experience. During the booking, the tour company was clear in all aspects, particularly in what was and what was not included in the price. We found they offer options for all budgets, so we took the budget one. During the trip, we were welcome and guided all the time, with absolutely clear descriptions about what to expect. Aroni, the experienced guide/driver who took us during the trip, provided great info about the wild life during the safari. He also was informative and clear regarding prices in souvenir shops and bargains. He always offer a room of time for us to do the sightseeing, and took us continously across different spots in the Masai Mara. We were lucky to have Aroni as our guide. The accommodation was fair for the price, with clean and comfy enough spaces. Food and water were provided during the trip, as agreed from the very beginning. Totally recommended.

The contact with the Company was simple and Good. They responded to our questions really quickly.
We did a 7-Day Safari with our guide Edward. He is a very nice and experienced guy. When we met other Safari tourists in the evening, they often didn‘t saw the same stuff and locations we did because Edward knows the parks and the good places. He also answered every question very nicely.
The value for money in my eyes was very good and the Company is very reliable.
I would recommend the Company and especially Edward anytime.

What an incredible Tour That I will never forget!!!
The 7 Day Safari was amazing.
Our guide Edward was the true hero!
He drove us safely through the country of Kenya and on the game drive he showed his talents - guiding us to the Big 5, being very very close to them and he was listening to our whishes and Made them come True.
All in all - an incredible experience That i will Never forget.

Nice Tour to the Masai Mara with Castro
We did the 3 Day 2 Nights Tour to the Masai Mara. Castro was a very good driver even when the road was sometimes a bit bumpy. We saw all Big 5 and many other animals, it was amazing!

Excellent- Castro is the best Driver
It was always a dream for me to visit the Masai Mara and Karibu made it easy and affordable.
I was pleased with the accommodations and always felt safe.
I highly recommend this tour company and will tell everyone that is coming to Kenya to book. Castro is an excellent driver and tour guide.
Castor, the master driver
This safari is amazing! Castor was a great driver and took us around Masai Mara for one evening and one full day. He drove us fast to all the places we needed to get to to see the big 5 and he also taught us about the ugly 5. We experienced bush toilet, picnic outside and seeing these magnificent animals in the wild. Please be aware that it’s a bumpy ride. Masai Mara has all off road driving as well as being around 6 hours drive from Nairobi. Bring sunscreen for the drive as well as it was 29 degrees. The camp we stayed in was lovely. Hot showers and electricity and zebras in the garden one evening. Bring some snacks for the day as it’s a long day. The safari is great value and I would definitely do it again.

Amazing 5days in Keyna.
We visited Kenya for 5 days. Our tour guide was Castro and did a 5day midrange safari.
We spent 2 amazing days in Masai Mara, 1 day in Lake Nakuru and 1 day in Lake Navasha. We also visited Hells Gate National park by bike.
The hotels were amazing, provided food was very good. We had a lot of fun observing nature. We had the most fun in Masai Mara, but other parks were good as well. Castro is a very friendly tour guide, he speaks very good english, and is an excellent driver. And the end of each day he made sure we are good, and we know plan for the next day.
The only thing which could be improved is organization of the trip after Masai Mara. We felt like there were holes in the plan(a lot of free time) which could have been filled better, or fitted in 2 days.

Great trip
We did a seven day budget safari and really enjoyed our trip. Everything was very well planned and our guide Aruni always explained us everything. He also made sure that we got the best views in the parks we visited for game drives. You can feel he is an experienced guide and can give you good explanations, but he is also a funny guy and we had lots of fun with him.
The hotels and camps were good, in the end you can expect the budget stay you paif for. We especially liked our camp in Amboseli, where the staff really took good care of us and the food was delicious.
I would recommend the tour to everyone who whats to get a really great safari experience.
Amazing
We did the 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli Safari. Our guide Aruni took a very good care of us and gave us a lot of information about animals, environment and the country. Thanks to Aruni, we were able to see the Big 5 and make wonderful pictures that will always remind us of this amazing time in Kenya.

Great value for the money
We did the mid-level accommodations (Jambo Mara Safari Lodge) for 2 days / 1 night and upgraded from a shared group tour to a private tour for $100 US, which was very worth it. On the group tour you depart Nairobi at 9am and begin your return at 9am from Masai, only getting 2-3 hours of game drive per day. For the private tour, we left Nairobi at 6am and departed Maasai at 11am, meaning we got 5-6 hours of game drive the first day and 4 hours the second day. Additionally, we were a group of two, so the vehicle was much more comfortable with the extra space and ability to move around. We were often the first people to find cheetahs and lions, so he would call other guides to let them know where to go.
Suggestions to others booking:
1) When coordinating the trip with Karibu Safaris, use whatsapp. They were quicker to respond there.
2) Ask for the driver's number upon confirming your booking so you can communicate during pickup. We were expecting a 6am pickup but the driver arrived around 6:20am.
3) Bring snacks. We did that and it was important since lunch often doesn't happen until 1-2pm.
4) Ask to stop somewhere for lunch on the return drive. We were given a pre-packaged lunch of a basic sandwich and fruit, which wasn't great. All other meals were good, but lunch during the return was below average.
5) Bring some warm clothes as it can get chilly in Maasai Mara at night/morning, as well as in the vehicle when the wind is rushing in.
