Absolutely great experience!
Great experience. We paid extra for very nice hotels and there were fantastic. Karibu offers you really good prices.
Our driver, Ambros, was the best. He made a big effort for us to see absolutely all the animals really close. I highly recommend him. You should know that you may go in the nice 4x4 or in a van like us, which is ok but not as good.

Well communicated, trip/tour as described
Communication is quite clear overall, the only minor complaint is we did not realize was that the last day essentially had no activity other than driving back to Nairobi.
For 3-persons trip, we have to squeeze in a small room for two nights at Maasai Mara. That’s a little uncomfortable. However, the hotel/lodge is ok. It’s what you would expect at a national park.
Driver/tour guide is nice, accommodating, and very punctual.
My rating might have been a little harsh. I still highly recommend it overall.

Great 10 day safari!!
Good value for money. We did a 5 day tour in Kenya ... excellent!!! And a 5 day tour in Tanzania, honestly preferred Kenya but Tanzania was very good. The big problem was the jeep in Tanzania kept breaking down ... very poor show here and no excuse...this operator was called 7 wonders ... AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! There are plenty of other.

An Amazing Experience.
We enjoyed and loved our 3 days Safari at Amboseli, it started with a drive to the Manjaro Tented Camp (This is a small beautify tented camp located at Amboseli outside the National park),
We were treated well by the host at the camp, we had lots of local Kenyan food, the service of the camp staffs (Beatrice and the chef) and manager was impeccable, they ensure that we get our breakfast very early in the morning before going for the game drive, they also provide meal prep for lunch and in the evening we had some nice discussions around the camp fire. If you are lucky sometimes you get to see giraffe inside the camp.
I also should not fail to mention waking up to the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro.
The game drive was also awesome as we got to see many animals , although we didn’t really bonded well with our guide but he was patient with us while we were taking pictures of the beautiful animal and terrine of the park. He is also really flexible and helped us with a drive to the a cabin we decided to stay after the Safari.

Good experience overall
Kush our guide was amazing, he is very passionate about wildlife and has great knowledge about animals. He is friendly and goes above and beyond! Had a once in a lifetime experience on the safari.
We ended up staying in a different accommodation, not the one was advertised and confirmed initially, had no hot water and the tent was not like on the pictures but the beds were very comfortable.
Bit more communication in advance about the changes from the tour operator would have been appreciated. Kush tried his best to help though which was great. Thank you Kush for the great experience!

Really good, reliable tour operator
Karibu safaris communicated really fast on both email and their website chatbot. I booked the 3 days Masai Mara safari with the Jambo Mara lodge and for sure got value for money. The lodge was a bit outdated but not too bad as you mainly go for the safari and the animals. Our driver was Anthony, he was always on time and got us to see a lot of animals. He knew what to do and where to go. He took good care of our group. If i have to give 1 negative comment it would be the Masai village you visit, as you get there and are welcomed but suddenly are asked to pay KSH 1500 per person to the Masai for the tour in their village, this is not informed upfront. Overall a great experience of a lifetime and will for sure come back!

Great communication
Just came back from 8 Day Safari organised by "Karibu Safaris in Kenya". Robert from Karibu Safaris Office, has been great to deal with, as all E-Mails were promptly answered. Also Safari was organised very well with all my special requests catered for. Example- Robert was able to provide 4WD specially modified for photography. Driver/Guide Simat & assistant Richard have been wonderful companions, with a wealth of knowledge. Thank U Robert for organising this wonderful Safari.

Knowledgeable guide found the big 5!
I had a great 2-night, 3-day Maasai Mara safari experience through SafariBookings.com. Thanks to our exceptional guide Raymond, a true professional with 15 years of game drive experience, we had the privilege of spotting the Big Five. Raymond's knowledge enriched our journey as we witnessed the mesmerizing wildebeest and zebra migration, observed a cheetah on the hunt, and marveled at the elusive rhino and leopard.
The Maasai Mara itself is a stunning park, and even though there were numerous other safari companies present, competing to get to the sighting first. Raymond's expertise ensured we reached the sights before others, adding an extra layer of excitement for us.
The camping site provided much-needed comfort after a day of exploration, offering amenities like hot water, comfortable beds, and charging facilities.
While the food was substandard, it was understandable considering the reasonable price of the trip. My partner is a fussy eater and struggled more than me. Day 1 we had lunch in buffet style on the road, with dinner in the camp, day 2 was breakfast and dinner in the camp with a packed picnic lunch while out on Safari. Day 3 was breakfast in the camp and lunch on the road. We opted out of lunch on day 3 with our whole group wanting to get back to Nairobi ASAP!
Our schedule included a thrilling drive from 4:30 PM to 7 PM on the first day, followed by a full day (7 AM to 6 PM) on the second. Unfortunately, the third day's visit to the Maasai village didn't match the excitement of the rest of the trip. While enjoyable, the very touristy village visit came with high-pressure sales tactics for overpriced items, slightly dampening the experience.
Raymond later dropped us directly at our hotel.
For fellow travelers, bringing cash is recommended, especially for buying beverages at the bar and offering tips to campsite staff and guides. If the group intends to visit the Maasai village, be prepared for additional charges.
Raymond went above and beyond, assisting us with ATM trips and money exchange when we fell short.
Overall, the SafariBookings.com Maasai Mara adventure with Raymond was fantastic, despite a few minor downsides.
