Amazing experience
Our group of 6 had an amazing time on the safari. Our tour guide Castro was absolutely brilliant! He made sure we got close to all the animals and gave us lots of information along the way. During our trip, we spotted the Big 5 and the Ugly 5 as well. The tour included 2 days in the Maasai Mara as well as a day at Lake Nakuru and a trip to Lake Naivasha and to the giraffe centre in Nairobi. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I found it to be excellent value for money as all food, water and accommodation was included. This truly was a trip of a lifetime - thanks so much to Castro for making it so enjoyable!

Castro the biggest legend ever!
I travelled in a group of 6 and we had Castro as our tour guide. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of the animals. I always felt safe and confident with him during the 4-day safari. He was excellent at spotting all the different animals and he was very quick at the game chase. He was was excellent leader and made made whole trip amazing. Castro was extremely kind and gave us a great opportunity to take up close pictures. Thanks for making our trip so memorable Castro and for being such an accommodating and friendly tour guide!

The tour was very well run and our tour guide was excellent.
We had a brilliant time on our safari trip with Karibu Safaris. Our tour guide Castro made sure we got to see every animal we wanted to see and gave us so much insight and information about their lives. He was so knowledgeable and went to great lengths to ensure we were always comfortable during long journeys. I think everyone should experience the great sights of the Masai Mara and see the wildlife there. We visited the Masa Mara tribe and had a real authentic camping experience near their village. Castro also took us to a giraffe sanctuary which was a great experience and allowed us to get up close to these animals. My favourite part of the trip was watching the lions hunting their prey. Castro always ensured we got to see the animals up close while still maintaining a safe distance. Can't recommend this tour highly enough!

Best few days of my life!
Myself and 5 friends went on a 4 day tour in Kenya with Karibu Safaris. It’s safe to say it was the trip of a lifetime. We kept saying how lucky we got with our guides, Castro and Mark. Castro was kind, knowledgeable and gentle, with a great sense of humour. He really made our trip!
The 2 day Safari in Masai Mara was incredible - we saw all of the Big 5 as well as the Ugly 5. Castro was always first to spot any animals and always got us right up next to the action, compared to other guides. We are so thankful to him for this, because it was incredible to be so close to these wild animals and we got some amazing photos which will remind us of this incredible trip for the rest of our lives.
The visit to the Masai tribe’s village was so interesting - I loved learning about the day to day workings of the tribe and how different their lives are to ours. The Enchoro Wildlife Camp was a lovely accommodation too with very helpful workers, to be honest I was expecting a lot worse seeing as we were camping out in a tent in the Masai Mara!
Our third day was spent in Nakuru on safari again. Castro got us closer than any driver would go to a group of lions sleeping in a tree. Although we were right beside them, we still always felt like we were in safe hands.
Our last day was a lovely end to the trip, we went to Lake Naivasha to spot some hippos up close, and saw lots of different wildlife. It was nice to experience safari from a boat. We then fed giraffes on our way back to the airport - well worth the trip!
Overall I could not recommend this safari more, and Castro in particular. We were so lucky to be put in his van because we had the trip of a lifetime!

Very responsive and efficient
I requested a package incorporating Maasai Mara, Nairobi and Diani Beach, a mere six days before my arrival in Kenya. Robert responded very promptly, even though it was the weekend. He fit everything into my budget, and sent me an itinerary almost immediately. All the drivers were punctual, well-informed and friendly. Lillian was available on WhatsApp and swiftly sorted out the few minor hiccups we encountered. All my questions were answered, and my requests fulfilled. I would definitely recommend this company. My trip was an experience of a lifetime, with amazing bird and wildlife sightings at Maasai Mara as well as Nairobi National Park and Lake Naivasha. One of the highlights of my trip was the boat ride at Lake Naivasha - I got within approximately 30 metres of a family of hippos, and also had amazing views of fish eagles, a pelican, waterbuck and wildebeest, to name a few, on the lake and on Crescent Island. The white-sand beach in Diani was exquisite.

A great introduction to Kenya
The tour was very reasonable. We got to see so many animals including the big 5. There was 18 of us and it was a lovely group. The tour itinerary did change slightly and we didn't get to visit a school as told but they were on school break. It would also be nice to get more information from the driver. If there was a guide along with the driver it would be an ideal situation as we could get some extra knowledge. The company has a variety of vehicles so be aware when booking as some are more comfortable than others. All accommodation was very good and comfortable and the food was excellent.

A+ safari tour guide Maxwell
This was our first safari experience and it exceeded our expectations! We had Maxwell as our tour guide/driver and he has 10 years of experience going through the safari lands, so we were able to see all of the Big 5 and many more animals on the 3 day tour. He was also great with answering questions about the animals, and made sure we were comfortable and safe from the wilderness. We got as close as a few feet from lions, giraffes, and elephants. We also saw zebra, crocodiles, hippos, gazelles, warthog, heartbeats, some types of birds, and others I'm probably leaving out. The 3 day tour was the perfect length of time - first day arrived at the Jambo Mara Lodge and went for a half day game drive. Second day was a 12 hour game drive. Third day was a visit to one of the local Masai tribe villages where we were given a tour of the village by the Masai community. We saw more animals on the way back since you have to pass through the area to get back to Nairobi. The Jambo Mara Lodge was a full hotel within the park, with a pool.
Highly recommend this tour and Maxwell as the guide!
