Made it Easy and Amazing
We'd been talking about a safari for years, but didnt know how to get started- searching online was overwhelming. American friends working in TZ recommended Brenda and she took care of literally everything. Gave us a plan that fit our budget, made the most of the season and our time in country. The guides, Cholo and Noel, were both amazing. Noel especially made it engaging and fun for our 9-year-old on the long travel days and game drives. Cholo helped us make the most of our time in Zanzibar and when I said I'd love to try fishing, he made it happen even though it wasn't part of our snorkeling trip!
Communication was great from beginning to end. We had a couple of last-minute flight changes and Brenda went above and beyond to make sure we found out about them ASAP. The hotels and lodges we stayed in were all clean, friendly and safe. Brenda does a great job making sure as much of our money as possible goes to actual Tanzanians. We honestly have zero complaints. Absolutely excellent experience that was well organized and thoroughly enjoyable
From our very first communication with Brenda to the follow up after we got home the communication was amazing, fast responses and detailed. She gave us all the options based upon our dates and what we wanted to experience which allowed us to pick the best safari experience for us and still hit our budget. The level of service from Tanzania Choice including our driver Leslie was outstanding and they feel like family for the time you are with them which just made the experience even better when you can laugh and joke with the guide as much as they can with you. Our guide Leslie we felt had X-Ray vision for animals and was willing to got to places where other safari companies did not venture, way far from the camps we were staying at which allowed us to see things I don't think we would have seen otherwise. The camps that Tanzania Choice chose for us were excellent in both location and the level of service provided and just added to the overall elevation of the experience. Overall we felt we got excellent value for money as it far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris for your safari in Tanzania, they went above and beyond at all levels of the experience, before, during and after. Don't hesitate just book with them you won't be disappointed!

Our "trip of a lifetime"!
We selected Tanzania Choice Safaris following a recommendation of US Embassy employees in Dar es Salaam. Brenda was always available to answer questions and guide us through preparations for our trip. We booked the luxury experience which included wonderful lodges situated in open settings where the animals were free to roam and excellent food.
We visited both Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park with our expert guide, Noel. He knew so much about all the animals and their habitat - but what made our time together so special was how much he enjoyed sharing that knowledge with us!

AMAZING!!
Going on a safari was a lifelong dream. My daughter-law planned the trip for us through Tanzania Choice Safaris - and it was the best decision ever! Our guide, Kakasii, met us at the airport and was with us throughout the trip. HE WAS AMAZING!! We learned so much about the area, the wildlife and the way of life in Tanzania. We saw the Big 5 over the course of our 3-day safari and everyday was filled with non-stop wildlife sightings. We were so well taken care of, ate amazing food and enjoyed the company of a truly inspiring guide. We are absolutely planning another trip and would not even think about going with anyone else. Really enjoyable last-minute Tarangire safari
I had communicated with Brenda in 2023 during another trip to Tanzania, but we ultimately couldn't get a safari to work on that occasion. Fast forward to this year, when our family (including two kids, 5 and 8) found ourselves in Arusha for a few days for a conference. During last-minute planning of the trip, I realized we would have one extra free day in Arusha, so I reached back out to Brenda LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE ARRIVING to ask if Tanzania Choice Safaris could accomodate us on a day-trip for one particular day. Not only was she non-plussed, she convinced us to make the drive to Tarangire rather than just going to Arusha National Park and it was a great suggestion. Our family had a blast seeing elephants, zebra, wildebeest, lions, impala, and giraffe during a non-peak season. Our guide, Leslie, was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. The car arrived promptly to our AirBnB (he actually did a drive-by the night before to make sure he knew where it was!). The safari lunch was also amazing; I've been on multiple previous safaris and this was the best food I've had. And all for a price that our local friends told us is close to what they have negotiated as "resident rates" for their trips with other operators. I would definitely recommend this company again.

As I look thru my photos, Noel and Tanzania Choice Safari's did a really great job!
Noel knew where to take us to get the best views and scenes that others were missing.
He was patient answering all my questions and making sure that we got the photos we wanted.
I appreciated the picnic lunch and breakfasts served and the resorts we were able to stay at.
The water bottles and matching journals were nice! Wonderful experience for me!
