Trip of a Lifetime!
Our family of four with two teenage boys just finished an 8 day safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris. They were recommended by a friend who has been on many safaris in multiple locales. Brenda was extremely helpful and responsive from the point of initial contact, putting together a sample itinerary based on our profile and needs, all the way through to completing our bookings with lots of adjustments along the way. Leslie was our guide and we can't say enough good things about him. He is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us see things we may not have otherwise seen. By the end of our trip, Leslie felt like an extension of our family. If you are considering a safari in Tanzania, you can't go wrong with Tanzania Choice. As others have stated, there are 1000+ outfitters. Some are good, and some are not so good. You will be in great hands with the Tanzania Choice crew. For us, it was truly the trip of a lifetime.

We had an incredible experience
Our family recently completed a 9 day safari with Tanzania Choice. We had an incredible experience and Tanzania Choice was excellent. The pre- safari planning communications went really well as Brenda was responsive, timely, reliable and able to answer all of our questions. She helped us figure what we wanted to do and how we wanted to it while taking into consideration our kids, cost and timing. We developed a customized plan that really paid off later when we were on the ground in Tanzania. Noel was our guide and he did an incredible job. He was kind, funny and an amazing teacher- we learned so much from him about the animals and their relationship to each other. He was tireless in his efforts to locate the animals we wanted to see, always maintained his professionalism and generally worked extremely hard for us the entire safari. The final part of our safari was a day hike on Kilimanjaro and our mountain guide, Michael, similarly did an excellent job sharing his experience and knowledge while getting us to our goal for the day. Overall, we could not be happier with Tanzania Choice and our experience, and give them our highest recommendation.

I am an experienced traveler and this was my third safari in Africa. Our safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris was - as others have said - a once in a lifetime experience. Brenda designed an amazing four day safari based on input from us. During those four days - we saw a huge variety of animals in three very different parks - each displaying the unique landscapes and beauty of Tanzania. Our guide, Leslie, was incredible. He often had other safari guides following him as he was nearly always the first to spot a lion, elephant, or leopard. He got us close enough to observe these beautiful animals for some time and of course to take photos and videos. Anyone wanting to experience Tanzania and Africa at its best should look no further than Tanzania Choice Safaris!

Excellent safari guide with wonderful hospitality
Our safari experience with Tanzania Choice was excellent. In the planning phase Brenda was very thorough and attentive to our needs including helping us adjust and reassure when we had to change flights and accommodations. Kakasii met us at the airport to make sure all was well prior to setting off. Noel was our guide for the week and was amazing showing us countless birds and animals including everything we hoped to see and the Big Five twice over. He also had extensive knowledge of the geology, habitat, and specific knowledge of many of the species we saw which really enhanced the experience. When our return flight got delayed Kakasii and Brenda personally saw that we found a nice hotel to relax and helped us get to the airport on time. My kids (7, 9, 11) and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would love to do it again. Highly recommend!

Great experience met all our expectations and exceeded many
We didn’t have a lot of prior safari experience going into this trip and we traveled with a toddler - from the very beginning, Brenda helped us design an itinerary that fit our needs and we felt well prepared.
We had a great safari with our guide, Victor, who was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and experienced. He was flexible with our safari experience each day and showed us so many animals and birds - it was unforgettable.
The lodging in Tarangire National Park was unique and really special. We heard lions outside each night! The hospitality, customer service, and food at each location exceeded expectations.
Overall, I highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safari.

Noel (and his brother Lee) is very personable, knowledgeable, and resourceful person.
We did safaris in Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. The accommodations were superb, especially our time camping at Kati Kati. These guys knew where to go to see wildlife and they knew a lot about the natural history of the areas we visited. They took very good care of our group. Their resourcefulness shined when we experienced a pretty major mechanical failure coming out of Ngorongoro: the drive shaft broke on our brand new Land Rover! Noel kept us safe and he and Lee fixed the issue right there on the spot. Within less than an hour we back on the road and arrived safely at the beautiful Farm of Dreams Lodge. This company and its people get 15 stars from me!

Friendly, responsible,professional and knowledgeable.
We had very close encounters with a lot of animals. Our guide,Noel,knew where to go to find the animals. He also knew how the animals were going to act and gave them space to roam freely. If he had not done this we would not have had animals that were touching the vehicle. He was safety conscious when the weather conditions were not ideal and drove with everyone’s safety in mind. We not only got a safari but an African adventure.

Professional, well versed and a joy to be around!!
This was the most organized, seamless trip we have ever taken. All the details and accommodations were beyond expectation. Our guide Leslie was excellent and so full of knowledge. His expertise in all the flora and fauna was amazing. We learned so much from him. We are all Conservation Officers in the USA and can really appreciate his passion for his job. Tanzania Choice Safari were exceptionally accommodating from end to end.
This Tanzanian family-owned and operated safari company was attractive to me from the get-go. They made the booking process simple and easy, breaking down each part of the trip and giving us multiple options for the itinerary. My plan was to climb Kilimanjaro, meet my girlfriend at the airport after, go on safari with her, then propose to her on the beach in Zanzibar. Climb was a success, but my girlfriend's flight was delayed so she missed her connection. We had to shave off a day of safari due to this. Tanzania Choice responded promptly with a new itinerary that included as much of the full experience as possible. They were always reassuring. When I met the guide, Noel, I immediately understood that I had met a friend. He was extremely kind, helpful, positive, and overall solid character. Such a good dude. He taught me some Swahili words that I could greet my girlfriend with, and I know if he read this, he would quiz me (Wey wey mschana mzuri - I still got it Noel). The guy cares a lot. Because we missed that first day, we drove straight from Kilimanjaro to the Serengeti, this is a looooooong drive that, due to the circumstance, Noel was happy to do for us, and we are so grateful. During safari, he worked extra hard to ensure we could see everything. We got to see lions, cheetahs, various birds, giraffes, elephants, hippos, gazelles, Topi, and the elusive leopard. The day was packed with excitement, and Noel taught us so much about the animals, their behavior, and the environment. All in all, an unforgettable adventure with memories we will cherish forever. TCS was attentive, reasonable, professional yet friendly and extremely helpful.
Brenda arranged the perfect trip for us down to the last detail. Leslie, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, could put us in the best viewing spots and knew the areas like the back of his hand. Leslie knew all of the birds as well as the mammals! He was also an expert driver which made us feel safe traveling throughout the country on rough roads. We loved the trip and, are good to go!
