Tanzania Choice Safaris could not have provided a better safari experience!
From the very beginning, Brenda was so informative and knowledgeable in planning our safari. She was very communicative and the video she provided was such a helpful way to review and plan our itinerary.
Leslie, our safari guide, was phenomenal! His knowledge of the area and wildlife, along with lots of great stories, were very much appreciated. He has a great sense of humor and made us all feel very welcome.
We saw so many animals and are so grateful to have been able to experience all of the natural beauty that Tanzania has to offer!

It was the most awesome experience!
Tanzania Choice Safaris truly handled everything...including all transportation, lodging, scheduling and meals. That made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy our daily safaris. We chose to go during the low season (April). We highly recommend that option for those who want less crowds and more springtime greenery. The lush plants and abundance of water allowed the animals to be happy and healthy. (The local people also enjoyed the fact that their crops were growing.) They customized our itinerary specifically for what WE wanted to see and experience, and we were NOT disappointed. We saw every animal we were hoping to see. We encountered herds of elephants, zebras, impalas, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeest, etc.!! Sometimes all of these animals were seen together! Our guide, Leslie, was absolutely terrific! He stopped every time he saw something that he thought we would want to see. We were interested in taking photos of birds as well as animals. Leslie knew the name of every bird we encountered!!! He went out of his way to ensure that we would see the elusive leopard. (1 of the big 5)! We also enjoyed his extensive knowledge of animal behaviors. We had a great time with him every day. Our lodging choices were excellent, with clean rooms, great restaurants (and staff) and wonderful food. We highly recommend Tanzania Choice for a 'perfect' safari experience!

Tanzania Choice Safaris - Outstanding family safari trip!
We had an AMAZING trip with Tanzania Choice Safaris.
Brenda made the whole trip-planning process super easy from beginning to end. I was overwhelmed with all the choices out there but she simplified everything and gave us options to choose from that were great for both kids and adults. She was patient with all our questions and managed to find lodges that fit all the different kinds of things we were looking for. Communication was very easy, she was very responsive to questions, and the itinerary was detailed and organized including the flights within the country to get us to our next destination. Once confirmed she sends you step-by-step instructions on how to get visas, packing tips, instructions on how to tip in the country, money you should bring, and health information. It's all information you can find online but it was great to have it all in one place and from a trusted source.
We were met at Kilimanjaro airport by our guide for nine days, Kakasii Kimaro, and he was fantastic from the moment he picked us up. His knowledge as a guide is tough to beat and we saw every animal we were hoping to see and many, many, many more. We appreciated his deep knowledge of the parks and that he didn't always stick to the places all the other jeeps were going. He was great with the kids and did a good job balancing all of our requests for things we wanted to see. We learned an incredible amount about the country and people and also about the animals we saw. He had a lot of good stories and fun facts to share and is very talented at driving through ginormous mud puddles. He was also very patient while being interviewed for a 5th-grade school project!
I can't recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris enough. They played a HUGE part in making this one of the best family trips we have had.
Amazing!
We had such a great experience working with Tanzania Choice Safaris. They were responsive from the very beginning of our planning stages, helped us develop a plan that would work well with our large family group (including 4 children ages 1-7). Brenda was so thoughtful, responsive, detailed, and informative through the entire planning process and took special care and consideration of our needs with small children. When we arrived for our Safari our guides were Leslie and Victor and they were so amazing! They were kind and accommodating of our small children and helping make sure they had a safe and enjoyable time (and even helped supply them with snacks!). They also listening to all of our questions, requests, and stories with good humor and informative responses. I would highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris for families and anyone looking for a quality experience with reliable and knowledgeable guides at a great value.

Reliable, professional and knowledgeable.
I described what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend, the occasion and various ages of my group and Brenda put together an itinerary that exceeded my expectations. Our safari guide Leslie was, professional, very knowledgeable and personable. It was very obvious that he is passionate about his work. My entire group was impressed by his patience and concern for our happiness.

Extraordinary!!
From start to finish communication was on point! Brenda was quick to respond to all emails/questions and sent our proposals to us timely. The booking info was not confusing or difficult to work through and was seamless securing our itinerary. Safari with Kakasii was above and beyond!! His super fun energy, knowledge, and experience FAR surpassed all of our expectations, and dare I say far surpassed any other Safari driver out there!! We saw the big 5 and so much more!! He was engaged with us, he answered our questions to the fullest, he knows sooo much about the animals, he was educational explaining animal behavior, and his birding knowledge is unbelievable! My husband is a "bird nerd" so having Kakasii as our guide was an extra treat as he knew many of the birds my husband had never seen before. He put our safety first and made sure to caution us about amy potential danger. Our accommodations at Tarangire, Eileen's Trees, and the bush camp were amazing, very clean, great food, and super friendly staff; customer service is on point at all! I would say our entire experience was EPIC!!! The best and most unbelievable part is the cost for our experience was not outrageous and far below what we first thought we'd have to spend for the experience we wanted. We highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris to anyone looking to have a once in a lifetime trip! They truly are the one and only choice!!

Excellent, fun, informative, safe, entertaining, educational, wonderful tour!
Right from the start, this company was top notch! We knew what we were doing every step of the way. Kokasii took such good care of us the whole way. We saw absolutely everything we wanted to see because he was bound and determined to make it happen. Brenda was so great with the communication side of things. Everything went very smooth! We loved this safari and I highly recommend this tour company!

Top-notch!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. From the planning, to the travel accommodations, to the professionalism of the tour guides and drivers, my entire experience with Tanzania Choice Safaris was A++. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. Without a doubt, the days we spent in the van on the safari were the highlight of the trip for me. We saw every every animal we wanted to see and we were able to get some really great views of the animals (especially the big cats!) In short, the safari was everything a safari should be—adventurous, exciting, thrilling, and just plain fun. Lastly, I cannot say enough good things about our tour guide, Leslie. He is a true professional, and was so much fun to be around! He was kind, patient, attentive, detail-oriented and extremely knowledgeable about all of the animals and Tanzanian culture. He is clearly passionate about what he does, and that passion shines through in his delivery of the information and how he lead the safari. ATTENTION TO DETAILS, EXCELLENT!!
Brenda did an excellent job planning a personalized Safari vacation for our group of 5 women. Our guide, Leslie was wonderful! He knew the territory and the animals. He was able to answer all of our questions. It was obvious he loves his job, and studies the wildlife and their habitat. He was an excellent driver and at no time did we feel unsafe. Tanzania and the people are quite simply, BEAUTIFUL!! Worth every cent!!
