An amaxing and unforgettable trip of a lifetime.
With no one to compare to, this being my first safari, I can only say, I don't think other companies can beat Tanzania Choice Safaris. A family owned company that cares as much for their clients safety and experiences as their own family, can only be given a 5 star rating.
Because of the excellent communication I felt I knew these people before I arrived in Tanzania. This trip was beyond expectations. The intinirary was so carefully planned to include all my requests and some suggestions that I hadn't thought about, i.e. a balloon ride over the Serengeti, which should not be missed! Our guide Kakasii was excellent. His experience (more than 14 years as a guide) made this safari so much more than I had anticipated. I saw all the animals, and experienced the Migration of the wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River that many people missed. He always seemed to know just where we should be, at just the right time to experience an a cheetah and her cubs feasting on a recent kill, lions mating, crocodiles killing a wildebeest and so much more!
The accommodations planned were all very good, the food and service in the tent lodges was great. In a couple of overnight stays we were the only guests at that lodge so we really felt special.
While there are many safari companies out there and I saw many of them, Tanzania Choice Safaris was definitely the best choice for me, and I would highly recommend them.

Perfect...Just Perfect
Our relationship with Tanzania Choice Safaris was incredible from day one. Brenda demonstrated great flexibility in helping us build an itinerary that was perfect for us, and she had several suggestions on creative ways to help us reduce the overall cost of the trip. We exchanged numerous emails in the weeks leading up to the trip and connected via Skype, all of which helped make us feel really comfortable about our trip. Even in retrospect, we could not imagine any single aspect of our trip being better than it did. Our Kilimanjaro guide (Festo) was beyond professional and turned into a friend who ensured that we reached the summit - the entire crew was incredible. Kakasii, our safari guide, also became a wonderful friend. His understanding and knowledge of the Serengeti, Tarangiri, and Ngorongoro Crater put us so close to every animal we dreamed of seeing, and more. He put us in places other guides didn't know about, and his patience allowed us to see things few tourists were able to observe. Even beyond providing the trip of a lifetime, Tanzania Choice added such a wonderful personal touch - the dinners shared, the stories told, the adventures experienced...Brenda even helped arrange for a surprise anniversary gift for my wife! Tanzania Choice Safaris is the absolutely best company to use for your Tanzania trip!!!

Trip of a lifetime! Perfectly planned as we asked, and exceeded expectations!
The trip was perfectly planned with little input from us. All of the accommodations were top notch. We wanted to have a safari as well as cultural opportunities. We saw many reserves, all selected were vastly different which kept things interesting and afforded us the opportunity to see a plethora of animals and Tanzanian countryside. Our guide was extremely knowledgable about all of the flora and fauna and the local culture in all areas. Not to mention the fact that he engaged each traveler, and met all of our individual needs. He even modified some of the routes due to the weather. We were up close and personal with all the animals! And what a driver! There were some terrible rains with roads washed out, yet he got thru them or around them. The last two nights were at an amazing lodge run by the Maasai, the experience was priceless. The whole experience was perfect from planning thru implementation. We could not have asked for more! I have already started working on a return trip, my recommendations and appreciation could not be higher.

Perfect Safari in Every Way!
This was the most amazing trip ever and we have Brenda and Kakasii to thank! Everything was planned perfectly. Brenda really made the trip planning a breeze with her helpful knowledge, always listening to what we wanted, checking in, skyping and meeting us at the airport to welcome us on our amazing adventure.
Kakasii is the best guide out there. He knows the animals so well and it is very clear he was made to be on safari! He answered all of our questions we had, has incredible knowledge about all the animals, knows the parks and all the best places to go and always had our best interest in his mind. We had so much fun making a new friend in Kakasii during our five days with him. We will be sending all our friends and family to Tanzania Choice Safaris in the future. We can't wait to go back!

Friendly, professional, personalized safari experts
I was traveling with a group of colleagues and Tanzania Choice Safaris took us from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater and back. They (Brenda and Kakasi) arranged for three safari vehicles and guides, and the trip was fantastic: The drivers were safe and friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals; the vehicles were comfortable and provided everything from places to recharge cameras/phones to binoculars; and the packed lunch was excellent--and they even provided hot coffee and tea. Brenda also provided us with a really good guide to restaurants, shops and sightseeing in Arusha, and Kakasi arranged for our transport to the airport--and when we got bumped from our flight, he stayed with us as we arranged for rebooking with KLM and then took us back to Arusha to make sure we were safe and well accommodated until we could fly out the next night. I highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris!!

Fun and Fantastic!
This was my 4th time going on a 1-day wildlife safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris. (Not counting the weekend they booked me into Zanzibar!) Each time, the service has been professional, reliable, and friendly - both for the planning, as well as on the tour itself.
Kakasii and Brenda, along with their other expert guides, provide lots of information - and lots of smiles - to make the safari experience beyond compare. Highly recommended!

It was such a fantastic trip I'm speechless in writing this review!
I am rarely at a loss for words but we had such a great experience I'm really struggling to describe it! Brenda and her team thought of every detail, and they were friendly and organized and very experienced! The pre-trip communications were detailed and clear (you can even do a video skype in advance!), and every piece of logistics and coordination was pre-planned and went according to schedule. We knew just what to expect- but not everything! There's no way we could have imagined the incredible sights we saw! We did a day trip to Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha. The box lunches were great, and they even had hot coffee and tea made up for us after lunch, while we watched the hippos swim in a pond on one side, and lion cubs lounging around far off on the other side of the picnic area. We were a group of 3 vehicles and every driver was great, spoke excellent English, and really knew the area and the park. And from the minute we arrived, the views of the animals were nothing less than majestic. It was a memory that will last a lifetime! I cannot recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris enough!

Amazing Safari
I not only want to offer my opinion of Tanzania Choice Safari's but also publicly thank Brenda and Kakasii for an amazing safari. This was my 3rd safari so I had some some experience with other safari companies but Tanzania Choice Safari's certainly exceeded my expectations. They not only do a first class job but are definitely the Safari of Choice. In my opinion and also the opinion of our group of 4, every aspect of the safari was exceptional from the start to the end. Kakasii is a walking "Wikipedia" and his knowledge of animal behavior but also plant & bird information is definitely impressive. He seemed to know what the lions were going to do, even before they knew. As he was spreading the lovely tablecloth on the table for our lunch, clients from the other safari companies were looking in envy as they ate their box lunches on picnic tables with no tablecloths. Then when he started pouring hot tea & coffee for us in ceramic mugs, they really became envious. Because of Kakasii's knowledge & Brenda's organization, the safari became an amazing experience. I highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safari as it offers an extremely great value for your money. I would rate it as a 10 but since only 5 stars are available, I guess I will have to rate it as a 5.
