I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Tanzania!
I was part of a group hiking Mt Kilimanjaro, and it was a fabulous time! Much good information that they shared in advance of the trip, that helped me prepare. Their experience was so valuable for this novice who had not done something this ambitious before. While there in Tanzania, they were so good to work with, so pleasant and encouraging. I would highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris not only for safaris, but also for Mt Kilimanjaro hiking!

Best trip or our lives
We had an amazing week-long safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris. It was a pleasure from the first contact with Brenda as we planned and scheduled. Brenda was responsive and made the whole process easy. The safari itself was a blast. We had a large group requiring 2 vehicles and our guides were first-rate. We saw all of the Big 5 and many other animals that are less common to see. The accommodations were so fun and the price was very reasonable. We would all highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris.

Perfect safari experience!
Our group had an amazing experience using Tanzania Choice Safari. We were a mix of experienced and new to going on safari. Brenda was wonderful and accommodating to the needs of our group when scheduling and preparing for the trip. Noel was a fabulous guide! He knew just where to take us to see the animals the kids wanted to see. He was also very knowledgeable about the animals and had very interesting facts to share about them. The vehicle we rode in was comfortable and very reliable. We had no trouble with getting stuck or breaking down. We can’t say enough about this TCS and Noel, they were just fantastic. Our next safari will definitely be with TCS!

Kakasii, knowledgeable, client centric, professional, passionate, tireless and a great guy.
Our safari was fabulous. We saw all the animals we planned and more. I was amazed at how close they come to the vehicle but I was never afraid. Our guide, Kakasii, knew his animals, when to move on and when to just sit quietly and wait to see what happens. We saw a pride of 5 lionesses and 16 cubs of varying ages. We sat for an hour as they surrounded our jeep, stretched, slept and nursed their young. It was an unforgettable experience.
I would highly recommend Brenda and Kakasii. Their professionalism, knowledge and helpfulness really made our trip an event to remember. If your planning on going to Tanzania, call Brenda now!!

The tour operator was very responsive and gave personal attention. Outstanding service.
Amazing once in a lifetime trip. The tour guides (Noel especially) were awesome. All three sleeping camps had great accommodations, with good food and staff. Each place that we traveled to was well coordinated and worth visiting. Ngoragora Crater was just breathtaking. Loved every minute. Tsetse flies were only bad twice during the trip and only temporary, and we never encountered a mosquito during our trip. However, I would also ask that you prepare yourself for these pests.

Without a doubt, the best choice.
My family of five booked a January, 2024 tour with Tanzania Choice Safaris and from the very first exchange of emails, I was confidant that we had made the right decision. Brenda is the most responsive and responsible person on earth, I truly believe. We worked together on the "menu" of locations, lodges, and transport. Everything was perfect until we began the initial flights from 3 different cities to Tanzania. Flight cancellations, flight delays, rebooking, what a mess. However, Brenda pulled it all together for us, including arranging a separate car and driver to bring the last of our group from the airport in Arusha to join the rest of us at the first night's lodge. After this bumpy start , it was all smooth sailing with Leslie, absolutely the best guide on the continent making sure we saw all we wanted. He knew everything about everything and was continually engaging and engaged. Importantly, Leslie did not just deliver a monologue: he encouraged a dialogue, asking us questions such as "why do you think the leopard just did that." My daughter is a birder so Leslie made sure she saw every bird in Tanzania. We looked forward each day to another day on the road with Leslie. My son's partner is a photographer. Leslie knew how to position us so she had the best photo perspective. Finally, at trip's end, Brenda arranged for a restful afternoon and evening near the airport and someone to drive us (at different times) to catch our flight home. I cannot recommend this group highly enough. They are the "Choice" in Tanzania.

Kakasii was patient and incredibly knowledgeable. What struck me more than anything was his kindness
My safari experience followed a week of volunteer work in Itigi. After many days of taking care of needy adults and children in surgery, it was a treat to be taken care of by Kakasii. We went to Tarangire and then to Ngorogoro crater. The lodge in Tarangire was very luxurious and the food was fabulous. We had a visit the morning we were leaving from the elephants that frequent the nearby watering hole. One came right to the pool to have a drink. At the end of our day in the crater Kakasii waited (without our knowing) for a time when all other vehicles were gone so that we could watch a family of lions right in front of us. There was a male and several females. I still can hardly believe what we saw. As we left the park very satisfied with our experience, Kakasii pulled off the road and called to a few little boys from the yard outside their hut. He gave them all our leftovers from lunch. That touched me so. It said everything about who we had entrusted our once in a lifetime experience to!

The company is top notch, they are helpful, responsive, with a highly qualified and wonderful staff.
This team knows how to do it right.
THESE FOLKS KNOW HOW TO CREATE LIFE LONG MEMORIES!
The office staff has "can do" attitude and never makes mistakes. They created a jam packed itinerary that was fun and interesting.
The Guides are phenomenal, speak English well, conduct great tours, can find an amazing variety of vistas and animals while keeping you going answering any questions about the wildlife, the area we were in and had great knowledge to share. Plus they are enthusiastic and well versed about Tanzania, it's economy, politics, history and it's future prospects. We were never bored.
Final points: The vehicles were perfect for the task. The accommodations, food and hospitality were world class. Everything happened as planned, on time and I can think of a single problem/ issue to discuss.
I am suggesting Tanzania Choice Safaris to everyone who asks about our trip.

Hugely helpful!
Brenda was amazing in helping put together a wonderful trip for us! She was very adept at figuring out how to incorporate our safari experience into a rather packed travel schedule. Our guide was fantastic, and added his own suggestions for our daily experiences that made them super special, including a side trip to the Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands that was incredible. First class hospitality.

Charming
My group had the best time! We saw the Big Five during our two days plus numerous other animals. Lunch at The Crater was especially fun because of the views and setup. I would definitely book another safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris with Leslie as our guide.
