Noel is a fun, efficient and knowledgeable guide, who ensured our safety and experience was perfect.
5/5

Our family group traveled from the US, to South Africa, then on to Tanzania through Nairobi. The planning of the trip in the months prior smartly planned a day or so buffer in case of travel delays. Planning with TCS took place over a few weeks with choices, timing and considering all the possible things we could consider doing. Brenda quickly adjusted our itinerary as needed before finalizing our trip. Wise suggestions since group was traveling from Safari in South Africa , she planned a rest time (day and half) in case of delays or need for down time. The down time was really needed to make the Serengeti and Crater very enjoyable.

The selection of lodges along the way were all very unique and lovely. Excellent hospitality and the food was great every where we stayed. We really liked all the places we stayed so much that when we come back we will plan multiple nights the lodges. Because of travel timing we stayed only one night at a few places which made it a bit hard to really relax. We really wanted to spend time watching the wildlife and take pictures, our guide was very patient with us. He was a careful driver, trying to make us all as comfortable as possible. We did spend a lot of time in the Rover and it was well worth it. My teenage son became ill with a respiratory virus in the middle of our time in the Serengeti. Our guide and the ladies at the Kabu Kabu Tented lodge were amazingly kind and helpful. Our guide helped get us to a doctor and stayed with us while my son was treated for a high fever. The Kabu Kabu ladies brought special meals and juice for my son and words of support for his Mom. We will never forget their kindness; we felt very well taken care of. (My son recovered just fine). We so many animals, and so many species, this trip far exceeded any of our wildest expectations.

We really enjoyed the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. One day or one and a half days is good for the crater. We spent 2.5 days in the Serengeti but could have easily done 3 days. Three days is a lot of time in the Land Rover, and may not be for everyone, but there is so much to take in. We also drove from Nairobi, which we won't repeat because it is just such a long time in a vehicle, rather we will fly into Arusha. Our family was a bit intimidated planning this trip but we felt very safe the whole time with our guide. For the time and cost to fly around the globe I would absolutely recommend TZ Choice Safari to get the most out of your time in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We felt the cost of our trip with TCF was really quite reasonable. We will be back.

Unforgettable and inspirational time
5/5

We worked with Tanzania choice to come up with an itinerary that would work for two adults and two children aged four and eight. They came up with a wonderful itinerary where we did several days of safari, followed by a trip to olduvai gorge and its amazing archaeology about the earliest humans, and then several days at a Maasai village. It was the perfect mix of activities and every place we stayed was more special than the prior one. We had a wonderful time learning about the history, politics, nature, and culture of that amazing country of Tanzania. And of course seeing the incredible beautiful animals in their habitat.

I would highly recommend working with Tanzania choice and supporting this amazing country

Brenda did an amazing job in preparing us for our journey. Trip was laid out well.
5/5

So much to know before you travel to Tanzania, but you will enjoy this safari with minimal preparation. Brenda gave us all of the information we needed prior to us leaving the US via video. The trip to the 3 national parks were well laid out, and the cultural day helped break the safaris into 2 parts. I do believe we should have been given some more education about how to "negotiate" prices of the items at the Maasai village, because we overspent what was necessary. Nevertheless, that visit to their village was awesome--it just cost me $150 more than it should have.
Our guide Noel was absolutely incredible, and did a great job educating us along the trip. Ashanti was also very good, but gave us less information and enjoyed taking his own photos. All in all, they exceeded our expectations and made the trip more enjoyable. The stay at Ngorongora Crater and in the Serengeti Camp was absolutely incredible. Get ready for some rough roads but you can manage. We never saw a single mosquito, but had a few run-ins with tsetse flies--nothing we couldn't handle. The memories of the trip, the people, the landscape, and the animals will never be forgotten.

Very knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining.

We received a detailed daily itinerary even before we arrived. Kakasii and Omo made us feel very special. We enjoyed all our travels in Tanzania and wonderful local restaurants. Of course a highlight would be the safari with all the wondeful closeup animals. Kakasii and Omo knew how to draw them out in the open.

We would highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris for the very best Tanzania guides.

100% Recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris
5/5

We had the MOST INCREDIBLE time on our safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris. Not only did we see 4 of the big 5, leopards were hard to find, but we also got to go on a cultural walk and visit a coffee plantation. Our guide Leslie was outstanding and told us the history of Tanzania and about the animals. Our private tour was a once in a life time experience and we couldn't have asked for a better safari. Brenda is easy to work with and everything was coordinated seamlessly. I've already recommended them to my colleagues that are traveling to Tanzania soon.

5/5

I recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris highly. Our trip was wonderful and our guide, Noel superb. Our group of 6 was handled carefully and safely the entire trip from airport back to airport hotel the night before departure. I can not give enough praise for our guide, good driver, knowledgeable, worked hard to keep us comfortable (rough roads, few/no restrooms), great job making daily schedules and departure time plans, quick to locate wildlife and quick to stop when we spotted wildlife, patient with our desire see every possible animal. Our favorite lodge Kubu Kubu tented lodge in the Serengeti. If you want expert advice to plan to your trip and a feeling of safety your entire trip - these are the folks to contact for a worry free and fun safari trip.

Wonderful experience, great guide
5/5

Communication and planning were top notch - we were contacted by our guide, Humphrey, before we were due to depart and were provided our guides details in advance too.
Humphrey was at our meeting spot in advance of our arrival and had us loaded up and on the road in short order.
We arrived at the park around 8am from Arusha and had a wonderful day day - we think we were incredibly lucky with what we saw during the day - lions, elephants, zebra, impala, ostriches, wilderness, vultures (feeding and flying!), dikdik, waterbuck, and buffalo, to name a few.
Humphrey has amazing eyes and pointed us to lilac breasted roller birds and tiny rock hyrax, and two types of mongoose. How he spotted these for us is beyond belief.
The day Humphrey planned for us had us at the quiet spots for lunch and not on top of other safari trucks.
The packed lunch was delicious, and not all the same so we could swap to meet our preferences.
Over all a wonderful day and we know how lucky we are - to any anyone reading this, we wish you the same fabulous sightings and experience we had.

Tanzania adventure with Victor the African Animal Whisperer, Amazing!al
5/5

TANZANIA Choice Safaris provided us with an amazing guide, accomodations that exceeded our expectations, yet added to our adventure, and a trip we will never forget. Our stories have overwhelmed our friends as we shared our stories and photos. The excitement, the beauty, overwhelming vistas, animals behaving as nature intended, and hundreds of photos to keep the memories alive. The family time was well spent sharing feelings, emotions, learning, and appreciation of life in Africa. Learning about the people of Africa as well as the animals put the everything in perspective. Each tour added to the respect of the animals and the people that live day to day with them. Victor, our guide, driver, never ceased to amaze us. His knowledge, driving capabilities, and absolute love of his job was always apparent. Thank you BRENDA AND STAFF for making our trip such a memorable event in our lives. Highly recommend the Hot Air Balloon Adventure over the Serengetti, a 5 star event. We loved it!

Incredible experience. Top notch service. Highly recommend TCS to anyone considering a safari trip!
5/5

TCS made the trip about as easy as it could be for westerners who have never travelled to Africa. We were met by friendly, english speaking, knowledgeable staff at every stop who guided us along safely and efficiently. That alone would be enough to recommend TCS to others, but there is much more to praise them for. Our main guide Victor was a delightful man whose knowledge of flora and fauna, culture and history was matched only by his enthusiasm and passion for his work. He seemed to have an innate ability to find all the animals we wanted to see up close.
He was constantly gathering intel on animal locations from other guides we would pass on the trails or on his CB radio and his diligence paid off time and tim again. Prides of Lions, herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeasts, zebras, baboons, giraffe, water buffalo, impalas, hippos, flamingos in some of the most beautiful natural settings I have ever laid eyes on. Pretty much everything there is to see, Victor made sure we saw it and we were never rushed. It was absolutely incredible. The accomodations along the way were wonderful and we always felt welcome by friendly staff no matter where we stayed. They even tracked down and returned a few items our kids left behind and had them forwarded to us by other team members who were a day behind us with another group. We couldn't have asked for more.
