Amazing Adventure
We were thoroughly happy with Bestday Safaris and enjoyed all aspects of our recent safari to the Serengeti National park and Ngorogoro crater. Our guide Emanuel was very knowledgeable about all the animals and also the birds throughout the park. We witnessed large prides of lions watching the zebras and basking in the muddy fields. We were fortunate to see the 'big 5' as many do not. Our accommodations in Ikoma tented camp were basic but what a thrill to listen to the close sounds of the animal nightlife! The Rhino lodge in Ngorogoro was very comfortable and the food was extremely tasty. We did do the hot air balloon ride( which was arranged by Peter) over the Serengeti which was one of the most peaceful experiences we have ever had. The champagne and full English breakfast served after the ride was also very memorable We finished our excursion with a day tour to Mount Kilimanjaro which was not just amazing to see but we witnessed climbers and porters as they finished their hard trek to the peak. The outpost lodge in Arusha was comfortable and a great place to relax after the safari. Peter was at our lodge every day making sure things were okay - he certainly wants things done well by his staff and others he works with. I would certainly recommend Bestday Safaris to anyone!

One of the best experiences of our lives.
We've just come back from our 5 day safari and it was honestly incredible beginning to end. This was our first safari and we had a strict budget. I contacted so many operators and Best Day won me over, not only because their price was so reasonable, but also because Peter responded to every one of my many emails and requests so promptly and politely. On arrival Peter came to meet us in our hotel and we knew we were in good hands. He introduced us to our guide/drive called Dulah who was a great companion and had a wealth of knowledge on every animal and plant we came across, and also gave us a great introduction to Tanzanian culture. He had the eyes of a hawk and the driving skills of a very experienced driver who knew the never ending routes of the national parks like the back of his hand. Every day was the Best Day, from Tarangire to Ngorongoro to the Serengeti and it just got better and better.
The accommodation Peter had booked was incredible. Eileen's Lodge was gorgeous, but what blew us away was Katikati Luxury Camp in the Serengeti. Such unexpected luxury. Our highlight was eating breakfast whilst watching a family of elephants walk by. And it was certainly an experience living so close to the wildlife. There were no fences so having a guard have to walk you to and from your tent when the sun went down to keep away the animals was unforgettable.
We also went on the hot air balloon ride which Peter organised. Peter and Dulah were very professional and helped me to keep it as a surprise for my husband. A highly recommended experience, floating over the Serengeti as the sun rises, spotting elephants, leopards and lions. Then having champagne and an epic English breakfast in the middle of the park. If you can afford it, do it for sure.
All we can say is that we're happy we chose Best Day. They are a small local company and they provided a friendly, professional and personal service. We couldn't have asked for more.

A truly authentic experience of a lifetime!
When I got back from the Safari, people asked me: "Well? How was it??" and the thing is I don't think there is a word or a sentence that can truly describe it... When we first got to the Serengeti, it felt like I was thrown back in time to the first days of the bible where all the animals lived together without fences or borders... This really was one of our best experience ever. From the moment we landed in Arusha we were picked up by a Bestday Safaris driver that took us straight to our hotel (which was also arranged by Bestday) there we met Peter that explained to us exactly what was going to happen in the next few days. Everything was very clear and arranged. The next morning we got picked up by Godfrey who has the eyes of a hawk and would be able to spot an animal a km away; he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great driver. The accommodation, the animals we saw, the food and the service we got was very good and I would recommend a Safari trip to anyone who loves animals and the outdoors. We are defiantly thinking about doing another adventure with Bestday safaris in the next few years (maybe Kilimanjaro... :)
Outstanding Safari!
We had the good fortune to have Bestday Safaris conduct our Safari. We visited the Ngorongoro Crater and then Serengeti National Park. Our driver was Six (I probably spelled this wrong) and he did an excellent job. He was very familiar with the areas we visited and was able to show us so much. He was knowledgeable about the wildlife and very informative. He was a good driver and we always felt safe. Over and above that he was a super person and we really enjoyed talking not only about the wildlife, but about life in Tanzania. We highly recommend Bestday Safaris Asante Sana Bob and Christina

Highly recommend--Amazing experience (from Minnesota,USA)
My daughter and I are from Rochester, Minnesota, USA and had an amazing experience with Bestday Safaris. We chose to do the 3 day and 2 night safari (Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, and Tanganire), and Peter was very good at emailing with us and catering to our needs. We saw so many incredible animals (elephants--very close and we saw them bathing too--, zebras, baboons, wildebeest, lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, ostriches, warthogs, various colorful birds, and rodents too) and we got very close too. Being from a place with a climate very different than Africa's it was all very beautiful and interesting and our guide Godfrey was great at helping us learn about the climate. Godfrey had the best eye and would be able to spot an animal miles away; he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a VERY GOOD driver. Our experience couldn't have been better with Bestday Safaris and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone; so if you are deciding between some, choose this one, you won't be disappointed.

Professional, experienced and kind operators
Bestday arranged our honeymoon safari and they lived up to their name! It is run by a bunch of genuine, kind and reliable people who ensured that there was no hiccups at all. They catered to my vegetarian diet with no problem. As well as this they helped us with arranging money exchange, finding adaptors- things that they had no obligation to help with.
I would also say that our driver/ guide was absolutely superb, he clearly knew the roads extremely well, had endless knowledge about every single bird and creature that we saw, and we always felt very secure and comfortable with him.
Bestday offers great value for money, a wonderful experience and truly caring people who want to give you the best experience they possibly can- they are to me, is the kind of people you want to trust your once-in-a-lifetime booking with. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure.

Excellent advice, organization and follow up during the trip
I was recommended Peter and his company BestDay Safari to exchange on the trip I wanted to do my daughter to see wildlife in Africa.
From the start the exchanges with Peter were very good, Peter spent time to exchange and understand our vacation objectives and helped us to progressively shape our ideal vacation. Peter was very patient and had good avice in sequencing the time we had in the most suitable way.
Once finalized, the journey summary provided by Peter was very clear.
We were very well welcomed when arriving in Tanzania, for the briefing session and meeting with our guide and driver.
The organization of the trip was very well made and we learnt a lot from our knowledgeable guide on the wildlife, while the choice of loges was very well aligned with the guidance for accomodation that we had shared during preparation.
This journey was a lifetime experience and I can warmly recommend Peter and Bestday Safari for the great advice, their experience, sense of organization and the very good and friendly contact.

Good organized and good value for money
We went on a three-day Safari in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. The safari was very well organized and the plan designed according to our needs. OutOr your guide, Hamsa, was really nice and knew a lot about the places and animals. When there were questions he couldn't answer, he would consult his guide book and give us the information. The camping place was good and we really liked the food. It was quite calm, which gave us the opportunity to relax after the Safari. Peter was always friendly and ready to help us with the planing and answering our enquiries. We were very satisfied with the whole experience.

A Wonderful Experience
We did a four day private safari with Bestday safaris (three adults and three teenagers) and had a great time. Our guide Godi was very knowledgeable about the animals. Everything was well organized, and all three lodges were superb: Eileen's Tree, Rhino Lodge, and our favourite: Ikoma tented camp.

A memorable experience
We had the chance to visit Tanzania earlier this year and be in a awesome contact with its stunning nature and welcoming people. Best Safaris organized for us an amazing private safari (3 days) giving us the opportunity to enjoy the best national parks and see animals while learning a lot about them, their habits, dynamics but also about vegetation and local population. Our guide, Goody, was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and Peter a very sociable and professional person we could rely on for the organization of the tour. All the rules agreed before hand were respected and we got back to Belgium with an amazing recollection of Tanzania. I recommend anyone to try Best Safaris when discovering the natural beauty of Tanzania.
