Overall good, but a couple of issues.
4/5

I booked the 4-day Small Group to Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater. The booking process was easy and all my questions were answered.
The driver, Julius, was very nice. He ensured we had enough water, communicated with the other drivers to find out where the animals were, ensured the truck was in a good position to take photos and that generally everyone was okay.
We were extremely lucky with the animals we saw; I think even Julius was surprised how lucky we were.
Overall the accommodation was excellent, especially the camp in the Serengeti. The food was delicious and plentiful, though there is a restrictive choice.
Two issues stops the rating from being Excellent is that the trip includes a free hotel stay in Arusha at the beginning or at the end of the trip. The hotel I stayed in was basic, though for the rest of the tour the accommodation was excellent. The other people on the tour booked their accommodation independently and it wasn't great. I think that generally accommodation in Arusha isn't a high standard.
The second issue was I had requested for a pick-up from the airport to the hotel, as part of my booking. It was not until the last day of my tour, in the middle of a game drive, I was told that I had to pay an additional US$90 for the pick-up/drop-off at the airport. Though, it was cheaper than arranging a taxi, I did not appreciate finding out on my last day, on a game drive, that there was still a significant payment to be made. There is no mention in the Price Excludes list of the airport pick-up/drop-off; my tour in Uganda picked me up and dropped me off at the airport at no additional cost.

Amazing safari with breathtaking experiences
5/5

My mother (65yrs!) And I have just finished our 5 day safari with BestDay and it was absolutely incredible. It exceeded all of our expectations. Our amazing guide, Jackson, went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience. We saw all the Big 5 and much much more! It was well organized and the accommodation and food was amazing. Even catered for me as a vegetarian. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife encounters. This Safari is a must!!!

Nice experience with experienced guide & tour
5/5

I highly recommend Best Day Safaris for a safari in Tanzania. We did 3 night 4 day private tour included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Janka is very friendly and experienced. Peter helped us a lot for the organization of the tour. Hotels are really nice and comfortable. Price & performance balance is perfect. Do not hesitate to go with them.

Wonderful experience in Tarangire with a friendly and knowledgeable guide
5/5

I had a few extra days in Arusha after some work finished early and planned a last minute trip with Bestday Safari to Tarangire park. The entire experience as excellent and they took care of everything, including lunch. I'm so glad I went with Bestday - the guide, Goodluck, was perfect for the trip. Because I was going alone, I thought it might be awkward with just me and the driver, but Goodluck was friendly and warm and helped me practice my Swahili all day. In the park itself, Goodluck was informed about the animals and shared lots of interesting facts about them. He also was great at communicating with other drivers about different animals spottings. Because of this, I got to see a cheetah with its cub, and even see it take off after an impala, elephants just meters away from the truck, and two different groups of lions. Goodluck lived to his name and provided a memorable trip to Tarangire.

Overall, I thought the trip was well priced ($330 total) for a last minute individual trip, the truck was in great condition, and the guide was great.

A big disappointing from the guide level
2/5

I have done dip research on the internet before booking with Bestday, and I Choose them because of there good rating.
We took the four days budget safari.
We saw a lot of animals and the national parks are amazing.

We have Good Luck as our driver/guiding, and I must say he wasn’t knowledgeable at all! I found myself reading from Wikipedia all the time to know a little bit more about what I’m seeing because it’s not just about seeing the animals it’s learning about them too.
Also, his English wasn’t clear at all.
In addition to that, he barely knew where the camps are and even didn’t know how to build a tent, told us that it’s his first time sleeping in a camp, although he said that he is doing safaris for already three years. Go figure it out.

Also, the camp equipment was poorly; I expected to have better chairs for eating. We were the only group that has this kind of chairs. Also, the sleeping bags were disgusting, and their zippers we're broke, so we freeze at night in the Ngorongoro National Park.

The only thing that I can't say that was good is the fact that we had Emanuel as our chef. My wife I and I are vegans, so he made us delicious food and also functioned as our guide when he joins us once to the game drive.

So, unfortunately, I must say, stay away from that safari company!

Beyond amazing time with an incredible tour company and guide
5/5

My husband and I spent seven wonderful days with Bestday Safaris in September 2019. Everything was absolutely perfect! I typically don’t write reviews but feel that Bestday really deserves the praise. Peter Charles, the managing director, was always very quick to answer the many questions we had before travelling to Tanzania. He also met with us during and after the safari to ensure everything went well. The accommodations, food and hotel staff were all incredible. Farm of Dream Lodge in particular gave us the most amazing welcome. Tukaone, Bestday’s own tented camp in the Serengeti, was our favourite. The staff there took such great care of us; it was the epitome of glamping. And then of course there was our guide and driver extraordinaire, Magi. I can’t say enough great things about Magi – he was professional, welcoming and knew the parks and animals better than I could have imagined. We found colobus monkeys in Arusha National Park, leopards and lions in Tarangire National Park, dozens of lions in Serengeti National Park (including two lionesses that we followed as they hunted and killed a zebra), cheetahs, hyenas, a caracal, a serval, and of course heaps of elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and more. Magi made us feel truly welcome in Tanzania. He was constantly pointing things out, checking in on us and just generally ensuring we had a wonderful time. We felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend at the end of the safari. We also visited Olduvai Gorge (highly recommended) and did a cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu. We were able to choose our activities so we opted to go to a coffee shop, visit a banana plantation, meet wood carvers, eat a delicious traditional lunch cooked outside and try some very terrible banana beer (the experience was great though!) THANK YOU to Peter and Magi. You were a huge part of making our visit to Tanzania the trip of a lifetime. We hope to come back one day!

Excellent arrangements, exceeded all expectations
5/5

Bestday Safaris organized a seven-day safari for me and my mother. Since this is my third safari, I had high expectations and I'm pleased that the Bestday team delivered. I'm grateful to Peter Charles for putting together an excellent team whose members are all professional, efficient, kind, and environmentally-conscious. Our guide Jackson is excellent, dynamic, knowledgeable and worked hard throughout the trip. He has collegial relationship with other guides, national park and hotel/camp staff which without a doubt enriched the whole safari experience. Amongst all his good qualities, he ensured that my 70-year old mom felt comfortable and well-taken care of all throughout the trip. My mother and I very much liked staying at Tukaone, a charming tented camp in central Serengeti which is owned by Bestday. I'm already saving for my next safari with Bestday!

The Greatest Experience in Africa
5/5

I have booked my safari with Bestday Safaris after the recommendation from my friend. It was the best experience i have had in Africa! From the beginning i had great communication with Managing Director-Peter. And i am really very picky so i would be sending lots of emails asking for one million details. Peter was very professional and always answered every my question. Company has a big office inside the city centre and it was also very easy to pop in and ask for more details a prior to my safari.

I have to say that i more than happy with our driver - David, for whom the work is not only a job to make a living but also a great passion. He does it since last 20 years and he studied tourism and wildlife and he was able to answer all of our questions about the animals we spotted on our way. He went an extra mile to show us as much as he could, we saw so many animals and i learnt a lot about their natural environment and their habits. Because he really likes his job we haven't felt that we are missing something. Special thanks for our chef Emanuel who did his best of preparing some delicious dishes, he would make pasta stews, delicious fish, soups, salads and even in less convenient scenery as we stayed in camping. All the food was yummy and fresh and best i had while in Tanzania.

After 4 days safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serenegeti) my whole memory card is full because of not enough space for photos! We enjoyed so much! (we were 3people in total).

Thank you so much and i will defo recommended it to all fellow travellers. Also i look forward to come back and book safari with them too.

Great Experience!
5/5

We did the 5 day safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara and slept in camps/tents. Our driver/guide was awesome and gave us a lot of interesting information, our chef cooked every day 3 delicious meals for us and also considered that I can only eat gluten-free meals. The parks were also amazing: we saw a lot of animals, most of them were really close to the road. All in all an awesome experience!!
