Alle Erwartungen übertroffen
5/5

My safari experience with Kili Slope was very enjoyable and safe!
5/5

I did a 9 days safari with Kili Slope in December. I visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Lake Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Arusha National park. I did the luxury accommodation because I’ve never done camping before. Hotels were good with beautiful views of the mountains and crater. Also, I spent three days in Serengeti and I stayed at a tented lodge, which is basically fancy camping. It’s a hotel room inside a tent. You have a nice bed, a nice bathroom with hot running water in the shower, plus a bathtub. It was exciting because there was no fence outside of tent so it was technically “camping” and securities had to escort us from our room to the dining area at night because a Lion could just be sitting next to your tent at night.

Safari included unlimited water, three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as long as accommodation. David, the owner, was very helpful with getting everything booked and planned before my vacation. He sent the daily itinerary of the safari, including the park and accommodation for the day. In order to make sure he answered all my questions before my arrival, he added me in WhatsApp to make sure he was available and reachable at any time. This gave me confidence specially since I was traveling alone. Once I was in Tanzania m, everything went according to plan, I was picked up in Moshi by one of David’s driver and taken to Arusha to start my safari. Before my arrival, I had paid a 26% deposit and once I met David in person, I paid the rest.

The safari itself exceeded my expectations, specially thanks to my driver Simon. Simon is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. I learned a real great deal from him. He knows almost all the bird species and why their names were given to the them. He told me very detail information about the nature and behavior of each animals. He also told me about most of the trees and plants we saw and what were their functions in nature. After my safari, I could name all the antelopes we saw, I could also tell difference between a male and a female giraffe, and could tell you many fun facts about lions, elephants, buffalos, leopard, baboons, zebras, wildbeest, etc. He really made sure that we took the time for me to appreciate each animal
In its natural habitat, and at the same time learned about them. Simon is very professional, very well spoken, very fluent in English, and very energized! His charisma and patience makes the experience even more pleasant.

Furthermore, chances of seeing action in Safari depends on two things: luck and a good driver. Driver not only needs to know the best spots of where to find the animals, but also has to know how to read the animals body language and understand their next move; as well as being patient to give time and space to the animals to do what they need to do. Simon was definitely the best! Most of the good stuff I watched, we were the only cars there because the other drivers did have the same knowledge as Simon. Thanks to him, I witnessed a group of Lions eating a zebra, witnessed a Cheetah hunting a gazelle right in front of my face from beginning to end, also and most exciting witnessed a Leopard hunt and killed a baboon right in front of us, and watched the baboon family fight him off.

Overall, I am very happy with my safari. It was magical and a remarkable experience! It was very mind opening and fascinating to learn so much about these amazing animals and nature in general.

Fantastic 8 day Lemosho and 2 day Safari
5/5

We started with an 8 day Lemosho Kili Trek. Starting from the first contact with David (Manger), the booking, the Pick-up and so on everything worked out very organized and professional. As we had still sone open balance to pay, David picked us up from the hotel and drove us to different ATMs, taking care about everything himself.

The trek itself was an unforgettable experience. Prices are very reasonable and can be adjusted depending on your comfort needs. Our guides Mango and Hatib were fantastic and contributed a lot to this unforgettable experience. I would 100% recommend them. Furthermore Godein was the best summit porter that I can imagine. Having this team you will for sure made it to the summit.

After the trek we continued with a day day Safari to Tanguire and Ngorongoro Crater. Especially the Crater is such a special place which we enjoyed a lot. We chose the budget option and slept on s campsite outside the park. Turned out that the budget option isn‘t that basic and gave as all the rest we needed to fully enjoy the second safari day. Our driver/guide Simon definitely went the extra mile to show us all that is possible during the two days. You really felt the passion for his job and for giving the clients the best service. The vehicle was super comfortable as was the driving.

We can 100% recommend Kili sllpe for whatever activity you plan. You can be sure to get the best service for a reasonable price. All activities have been realised by Kili slopes themselves. So you wont be transferred to any other tour operator that you do not inow before. Definitely a big advantage.

Thank you for everything! Tina&Boris

Excellent organization, great guide
5/5

I do not speak English well so this will be a short review. Sorry if i make mistakes because of english. Everything was great. David (the manager) always responded on whatsapp in real time. Everything was very clearly organized. No problems or difficulties arose at any stage.
Guide Simon was wonderful. He knew a lot about any animals, birds and plants. He looks more like an Oxford ecology professor than a regular guide.
Kili Slope has far exceeded my expectations.

It was an amazing safari!
5/5

When I was planing my safari I sent my request to a few different companies. The first company replying to my message was Kili Solpe. Thx for that.
During this Corona pandemic it was necessary for me to switch my trip several times because my flights were canceled. David was really cooperative and did his best to change the date of safari. He organized everting very quickly. I was so happy to choose his company.
On 10th of August 2020 I did the 6 day safari Central Serengeti, Northern Circuit and Lake Natron, exactly as I wished to do it. And I was so lucky! I saw so many animals, fantastic!
I started safari by flying into Serengeti! It was incredible to see Serengeti from the sky.
After landing in Serengeti we started the game drive immediately. Simon was my guide and we should be very lucky within just a few hours as we saw lions hunting a gazelle. Some of the jeeps just passed that place not recognizing what will happen soon. We waited in first raw until it happens. So lucky! Thx Simon!
He knows Serengeti so well, was connected to the other drivers all the time and brought me to so many places worth to see. I had really a lot of questions to him as I am thinking about doing my field guide. He had an answer to each of theses.
This was almost my third safari. So I have the possibly to compare a little bit and I was so lucky while recognizing I did the right choice.
Thanks a lot to Kili Slope making my holidays so good!

Had a great experience, would def recommend
5/5

They were great. David was awesome. They were flexible in working with me and delivered an incredible, once in a lifetime experience. After climbing Kili, I decided last minute to stay for safari, a life-long dream of mine. That afternoon, I spoke with several places, trying to find a group to join the next day.

David added me to an existing safari, directed me to Arusha, which hotel to stay at, and it all came together perfectly. With no real planning. I did 3 days, one night in Serengeti and then Rhino Lodge at Ngorongoro crater. The Tented camp in the Serengeti was amazing. My tent had power, warm shower, separate shower/bathroom, great bed. It was immersed in the bush, I absolutely loved it. Rhino Lodge was totally different but great also. The back patio opened right up to the jungle. The community room was awesome.

We saw all Big 5. Male lion from 3-5 meters. A pride of 10+ females and a couple cubs dining on a Grant's Gazelle kill. A huge herd of elephants. Leopard in a tree all in Serengeti and rhino's in Ngorongoro. More lions. A bunch of giraffes entering Serengeti. Maybe we got lucky. But it was absolutely everything I had hoped for.

Professional and reliable
5/5

We went for a 3-day group tour: Serengeti + Ngorongoro. All went smoothly. There were only 3 persons in a group (out of 6). We spend 1st night in a tented lodge and second night in a tent. Both were interesting experiences. We were lucky enough to see all Big5 close up + great migration. Our guide Simon was very intelligent and easy to communicate. He knew everything about wildlife and local customs and managed to make our trip exciting.

Very nice experience !
5/5

We booked a four day safari in September 2019 based on the good review of this tour operator. Overall we had a very good experience, we could personalize our trip and price was still in our budget. We were picked up at the airport and drove back to Arusha were we met with David and our guide! We had a lost backage at the airport and david and his colleagues helped us to sort it out. After that we started our 4days safari! We really enjoyed the safari and the lodges were we stayed. Our guide was the best and could always answer all of our questions and explain us a lot about the animals! Our favorite experience was to spend the night in a tented lodge in Serengeti, it was magical! My partner mentionned that it would have liked a better car. Food provided was also very good and I could get a vegeterian option. I really recommend this tour operator and our guide for your next safari!!

Very good safari and service.
5/5

I contacted Kili Slope based on the good reviews, and I have to say I was not disappointed. David always replied quickly to my emails and made sure he could answer all my questions, and provide solutions according to my needs, like organising airport transfers very late/early.
The 4-day safari itself was really up to my expectations, as we could see the big 5 and many more. We were with Amani, who is a knowlegeable guide, and an experienced driver.

Overall impression: very satisfied, thank you Kili slope!
