Horrible !!!!!
The worst experience I had with a company. I’m not use to write reviews but in this case i need to do it to inform potential futur customers.
DO NOT BOOK with them.
When you ask quotation there are really professional and kind but when you start the safari it’s the mess trouble everyday!!!
A few point amour a lot of others:
-Schedule not respected (they change the plan without inform us)
-they ask money to some customers to pay the park entrance!!!!! (Cause they didn’t got enough money !)
-we went for 5 days others in the car for 3 days we lost half day to change cars
-Hotel is a fake they didn’t respect the hotel the gave in the schedule
Nothing works well there is plenty of other companies so book anywhere else.
The headquarter is located in Kenya We did in Tanzania so don’t believe this guy and his subcontractor friends in Tanzania!
It’s maybe not the direct fault of Kenya office. But anyway with book with wild race Africa so you are responsible of the reliability of your subcontractors !

Posted on Oct 16, 2018Hello Jerome.
First my sincere apologies for the bad experience you had in Tanzania under the care of our Tanzania representative. As per our Knowledge and the feed back we got from them is that the trip went successful but this review says contrary. We had taken action on this and we no longer work with him any more.
We have partnered with a Tanzanian local as per their constitution requirement and will now be operating all our trips as Wildrace Africa.
Thank you very much for your kind feed back and for letting us know.
These feed backs helps us adjust our services accordingly so that all our future clients do not go through the same bad experience ever.
Warm regards and stay blessed.

Unforgettable holiday
Once in lifetime experience with and executive Touch!
I have always dreamt of being in Africa and thanks to simon and Wildrace Africa Safari Tour & Travel, my first time in Africa has been amazing, and for sure the safari trip was the best of it all!
Everything was supper perfect; Simon has been super helpful, swift in his responses, clear and precise in his explanations, very detailed in almost every aspect.
We landed in Kilimanjaro airport late in the night and as promised there was the driver waiting for us at the exit with our name paged on it. We were tranfered to Ilboru safari lodge for our night and later on picked up the next day in the morning to start our 6 days Northern Tanzania Safari visiting Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National park with Arusha airport drop off for our flight to Zanzibar.
During our trip with Deodatus. We were able to spot all the big five and many more animals with lot of ease. Our guide was very professional, down to earth, flexible and quite accommodating with excellent driving skills leave alone the flora and Fauna.
Food was good and always more than enough, the lodges were excellent, best safari car one would ever want to be in for your Tanzania safari trip, very comfortable considering the roads' conditions.
I would not hesitate to recommend simon and his company for anyone who wants to have the best of African Safari experience of a lifetime.
They have both offices in Nairobi and Tanzania, we made our payment in Arusha office. Innocent Frank is the foreman in Arusha office.
Thanks simon, this was Unforgettable holiday!

Amazing and surreal experience!
My husband and I loved our safari experience. We got to see many animals and even witnessed a lion kill. The food was decent, and the accomodations sufficed given the price. The scheduling and organization of the trip was great, and we got to meet other fellow travelers. All in all it was a fun trip! I highly recommend this company!

Wonderful safari
The communication re booking the safari with Simon was excellent- prompt and efficient. We chose Wild Race because they seeemd to offer the same safari itinerary as other companies, but at lower price- which was indeed the case. Despite this, they could offer a range of accommodation from budget camping to good quality lodges. We were doing our safari in Tanzania, and had not realised that Wild Race would use an agent there to operate the actual safari, but this all turned out fine. Since we were doing a safari with other people to keep costs down (and also more potential to spot animals), our itinerary was changed a little at the last minute to fit in with others, but it turned out ok.... albeit a bit of a last minute change. The only thing to be aware of was that the final payment was poorly communicated- we thought we could pay by PayPal, but they wanted cash, so by this stage we had already paid in PayPal... but we did get money back ok, so honest people.
Safari itself was EXCELLENT. Our driver Samuel was good. Accommodation perfect ( the other 4 in our vehicle were camping, so he dropped us off at lodges and them off at campsite) and we saw all the animals we wanted too- Big 5 and many more!

FELT LIKE TOURISTS IN OUR OWN COUNRTY.
I can not really compare the services given by wild race Africa to no other vacation company in the country .Yes ,you might be thinking because Kenya is a third world country it has less experiences in terms of having fun as to other first and second world countries, but what i really saw, taught was more than what i expected.
i had just got back from Navo scotia, sydney,Canada from pursuing my studies and thought why should i not give myself a vacation to relax and explore my own country.
A friend of mine chose to travel with me immediately she heard i was going for a Kenyan adventure.
i was delighted to contact wildraceafrica since it was always an option for my family back here.
Simon was our communications specialist and i loved his quick way to answer on to emails and night calls for responses to our questions. He got our back when he decided to show up before and after the trip for advises and cautions to mostly take in to.
we visited a large part of Samburu national park which most people tend to ignore.we had such great fun,and the best part of it was spying on a pride on lions looking out for prey. The accommodation at the Samburu Sopa lounge was interesting as well. From a full body massage which was really budget friendly to a quiet time at a pool as the sun went down.
we really take this time and thank all the support we got from wildraceafrica for a good experience back in our own country
we really felt like tourists in our own country for the first time in a long time.

Do not themself drive in Tanzania
Communication with Simon prior booking was good, clear and fast. We booked a small group midrange safari 6 days Tarangire, lake manyara, ngorgoro and Serengeti national parks starting from Arusha.
While on site, we could not find their Arusha office. (The hotel listed on their website had never heard of the company.) The night befor the start of the safari a man from another safari company met us at the hotel, said he talked with Simon and would operate our trip. Overall we got what was agreed on in the itinerary, but days and accomodanditon was shifted with out any prior notice until the very last minute everyday. We would have appreciated to get a new updated itinerary befor we left. The driver/guide was really just a driver and did not tell us much about the parks or animals.
We are overall happy with the trip! Saw a lot of animals really close, an experience of a life time!!
It is hard to give a fare review of Wild Race Africa cause we have not met any of them.

Posted on Nov 17, 2024Thank you, Lina, for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed an unforgettable experience, seeing so many animals up close—those are the magical moments we aim to create for our guests.
First, I truly appreciate your kind words about the communication during the booking process. Clear and fast communication is a priority for me, and I’m glad this aspect met your expectations.
I’d also like to sincerely apologize for the confusion you experienced regarding the office location and the last-minute itinerary updates. While it’s not uncommon for us to collaborate with trusted local operators to ensure a seamless experience, I completely understand that clearer coordination and timely updates would have made your journey more comfortable and stress-free. I take your feedback seriously and will work on improving how we communicate such changes to our clients well in advance.
Regarding your guide, I’m sorry to hear that the guiding did not meet your expectations in terms of sharing knowledge about the parks and animals. A passionate and informative guide can truly enhance the safari experience, and I’ll ensure this feedback reaches our team to improve the selection and training process for guides.
I’m thrilled that despite these setbacks, your safari provided you with incredible wildlife encounters and memories to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for your honesty—it helps us grow and improve. If you ever decide to explore more of East Africa in the future, I’d love the opportunity to provide an even better experience for you.
Wishing you more wonderful adventures ahead!

Safari of a lifetime!
Having already done a great safari in Tanzania a few years ago, I had pretty high expectations this time around, taking alone my two children (12 and 10) to their first safari in Kenya.
Simon from Wildrace Africa was by far the most professionnal and responsive operator to get back with a quote, a competitive, tailor-made 8-day itinerary in a private 4x4, covering four parks (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli & Tsavo East) with a drop-off to our resort in Diani Beach.
Simon answered all logistical questions I had within hours (when not minutes!) via Whatsapp, and offered flexibility (downpayment through Paypal, balance in euros rather than USD...).
On departure day we met the whole Wildrace Africa team as well as our guide/driver Pascal, whose friendliness, experience, competence and professionalism truly made this safari a unique lifetime experience.
Pascal was totally dedicated to our every needs and went out of his way to take us to as many game sighting spots as we wanted, when we wanted. His keen eye even made us witness a live lion hunt moment, an extremely rare scene during daytime. We saw just about every single animal one can see in Kenya, and more!
Pascal is an excellent driver, we felt safe throughout the trip, and he regularly shared his extensive knowledge on fauna, flora, kenyan customs, traditions, and language. He was fantastic with my kids.
Due to our limited budget we stayed at basic tented accommodations either very close to park entrances, or just inside. All were fine and offered great surroundings, you felt in the middle of wilderness being woken up by exotic birds.
The itinerary sold on paper was fully respected, we really got our money’s worth. Everything went smooth and perfect.
Needless to say I highly recommend this operator to any western tourist looking for value for money, safety, and comfort. We feel lucky we chose Wild race over the plethora of other operators in Kenya.
