Awesome itinerary and service!
We used Simon's tour company when my wife's family came from the US to visit us in Kenya, their first trip to Africa! We really needed a memorable trip, as this was a once-in-a-lifetime visit for them, and Simon really delivered. They got us to everywhere we needed to go on time, and sent us two vans to accomodate us all comfortably - even though we didn't request this - and didn't charge us extra. The drivers/guides Gordon and Simon were really fabulous, very knowledgeable during the game drives and helpful during the car rides. They also put us up in a great lodge - Sopa Lodge. Simon will give you both a great price and a great experience.
I❤️Africa
I would like to Thank Simon and his team for giving us the most amazing African holiday! They took care of our every need and we felt safe with them the entire time. Our guide Gordon was a wealth of knowledge, there was not a question I asked that he didn't know the answer to or wasn't able to find me the answer. He ensured all our accommodations where adequate and to our liking. (Traveller's remember the accommodations in Africa are not the same as your used to, ask lots of questions and never assume anything as this may lead you to have unrealistic expectations, in our eyes this is what made things more authentic) The Massai Mara was full of adventures and fully lived up to our expectations, Gordon spotted us the Big Five all in one day and much much more! We also had the luxury of having a ride along guide intern with us for the first half of our trip and Jeffith always ensured I captured every moment by offering to take our picture and videos in all locations/ events of the days. We visited a Masai village and learned of the traditional ways of their people, it was a very eye opening experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience more of Africa. In Amboseli National park we where given the honour of having our meals prepared by a private chef Alan and every meal he impressed and ensured we where fully satisfied :) When we crossed the boarder into Tanzania the transfer was smooth and both guides ensured we where comfortable. Ozy our guide for Tanzania could spot any camouflaged animal from miles away and took the time to sit at certain spots ensuring we saw different animal interactions that we didn't anticipate such as the lion mating routine. (Always account for travel time and traffic, all these parks are amazing but they do require a bit of travel time to get there.) I cant say enough about the personal touches that going with Wildrace offered us, Simon took the time out of his busy schedule to pick us up at the boarder and accompany us for the final day, driving back to Nairobi from the Tanzania boarder and even some shopping and our final dinner at the Famous Carnivore restaurant. One of my crazy requests was to ride a camel and on the last day my dream came true as we went to a Masai camp out of the original plan and I was able to ride a Camel!! Wildrace far exceeded my expectations and as first time visitors to Africa made me feel more then at home, my advice for any traveler going to Africa would be to plan your itinerary with a local company to ensure you get the real African experience ( Not being put in a large bus with 20 other people like we seen of many large companies) be flexible and just enjoy the moments. Thank you again Simon and your great team, I can't wait to plan our next adventure visiting the Gorillas of Uganda with you and feel truly grateful to have met each and everyone of you!

Magical Kenya Safari
I had the pleasure of using WildRace Africa Safaris for Kenya and Tanzania trip for my guests that arrived 4th to 10th November 2014 and they had great adventure. They provided a real Africa experience, with professional staff like Simon and great tourist understanding. They are reliable and very honest with their quotations and I highly recommend them for fair price and good value for money. Rweteera Safaris from Uganda will continue to have a strong and healthy business relationship.

Great Kenya Safari
My girfriend and I went on a Kenya Safari with Wild Race Africa Safari in September 2014 and just get back from holiday. We started to organise a Kenya Safari more than one month before leaving home. We communicated with Mr. Simon Milambo over e-mail, and I must say that each time he responded rapidly and answered all the questions. We choose 6-day Safari in Masai-Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Mr. Simon explained the whole program in detail inclouding places where we will sleep and eat. He was opened to our suggestions, because we wanted a mix between buget and mid-range accomodations. We negotiated for a price and than paid 30% via PayPal. When we arrived in Nairobi a driver was waiting for us, like promised and took us to the hotel. The next day we met Mr. Simon and started a long drive to Masai-Mara and even went on a short game drive there. Masai-Mara was great and thanks to a great guide/driver Mr. Fred we saw many animals, even the rare leopard. We were in the van with 5 other persons, witch was a bit crowded, but we managed. Try to organise your Safari with less, like 6 person maximum if you can. I would say 4 people per car is optimum. Mr. Fred spoke very good English and explaind many things about wildlive in general. He answered all of our questions, stoped the car everytime we asked and was flexible for our suggestions on the way. I would recommend Mr. Fred to anyone going to Safari in Kenya. We stayed in Wildbeast Camp and it was OK for two nights, staying longer could be a problem, since it is more basic accomodation, but nice people there. There were less people in the van in Lake Nakuru and Amboseli so it was better. I would recommend accomondation in Kibo Safari in Amboseli were it was very nice. Lake Nakuro accomnondatoin was nice too. If you are planing the same Safari think twice before going to Amboseli. Do not get me wrong Amboseli was very nice, with Kili view, we saw 5 cheetah family there and lots of other animals and the eviroment is very nice and different than in Masai-Mara or Lake Nakuru, more dry - desert like almost, but we spent almost a full day driving there from Lane Nakuru and than half a day driving back to Nairobi. And in Amboseli we didn't see any animals we haven't already saw in Masai-Mara or Lake Nakuru. So top priority must be Masai-Mara, than Lake Nakuru for flamingos and rihnos and than Amboseli for a diferent eviroment and view of Kili. To end our adventure in Kenya we got a free 4 hour guided tour in Nairobi before we got on the plane. I would recommend Mr. Simon and Wild Race Africa Safari as your organizer for Safari in Kenya. I hope you will enjoy as we did!

Good Experience
The overall experience with Wild Race Africa Safaris was amazing; they were organized, timely and very prompt in their services. we happened to plan our trip during the migration season so we made it just in time for the wildebeest migration and Masai Mara is beautiful. I was a little hesitant with the online payments to a local agent but Simon and team were very helpful and guided us through whole process of designing the itinerary in the best possible manner and arranging for pay pal links for advance payment.
we saw the big five during our 4 day stay and so we were very glad and went back satisfied. must check out the local shopping in the area!!
True magical safari experience
Box 100: Can not say enough about what a magical trip that our travel agent simon milambo and his team did for me and my family. If you are looking for customer service, detailed itinerary and fully satisfying informations that will clear off your doubts and value for money, then this is your company. I love the detail of speaking with me on the phone, simon is always on the go with answers to our bunch of questions to see what really I was looking for on my dream trip to East Africa. The itinerary was followed to the latter and each place was incredible, to the tempo and places. Already talking with them about my return trip and only been home 5 days. Super company , wildrace Africa safaris!
The most memorable part of my trip; all 5 senses were engaged at all times the guide George is a super human, Always the fast to spot the Animals, at a point we felt like we were in a lecture room, all details about each and every animal, land scape, people and even life spun, amount of food to the adaptive and mechanic defence of all the animals were just but at his fingertips. Kudos George you love your job will sure recommend you for private guide in our next trip .The people of Kenya and Tanzania, so happy and so welcoming. I wanted to feel the soul and heart beats of these 2 countries and as my head is bowed I am grateful as I did receive. Thank simon keep up the good work. You have a big heart.

Good accommodation, Good people, Poor planning
Let me start with Positives:
I started planning for my safari about 2+ months before my travel and that's when I contacted Simon from Wild Race Africa. He has been fantastic with answering queries and clearing all the doubts you may have about your travel plans.
The accommodations provided were good (except for Kimana lodge in Ambseli, where the lady who was managing the lodge seemed least bothered about the guests) for budget safari. Best one was in Masai Mara (Mara Wildebeest camp).
Negatives:
I was kinda asked to change my itinerary just couple of days before my travel (which was fixed from couple of months), which resulted spending one day less in safari.
I was told that as soon as I land at Nairobi, we'll be going to Amboseli. Actually, we were first taken to Wild Race Africa office and then after couple of hours we started for Amboseli.
Time to cover distances were wrongly told, I was told about time taken from Nairobi to Amboseli would be 2.5 to 3 hours and I'll be able to take an evening safari there. Our driver drove for 120 kmph on highway and still we reached after 5 hours. Day wasted.
Itinerary said, after morning game drive in Nakuru we start towards Masai mara for evening game drive. We started on time (after a hurried game drive in Nakuru) and reached Mara by 7 pm. Which means no evening game drive.
We were clubbed with a family which had different itinerary than us. It was left to us on how we manage that. Fortunately the other family decided to change their plans to suit our itinerary. Just wondering what would have happened if they had not changed their plans.
Booked the cab from Wild Race Africa again for Nairobi city tour. Driver came an hour late.
Fortunately I had checked on google maps about the distance between the places and based on that I had calculated the time to travel. Had we planned according to timings provided the driver then we would have completely missed #1 attraction in Nairobi, David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. Being locals there, they were completely unaware of best sequence to cover all attractions in good way.
We had to finish National museum in one hour (we could easily spend 3 hours there) and then we were free by 4 pm in the evening.
I would say again, they give good accommodations, very nice people they have as staff who'll help you plan your trip but many tiny little goof-ups can make difference.

Great safari, lots of wildlife.
The communication we received with the company was very good in the run up to the trip. All emails were answered promptly and efficiently. The safari went reasonably smoothly and we saw lots of wildlife, as we had hoped. The tour guide, Stanley, was very helpful and was able to identify most of the wildlife we saw. He worked hard to make our safari pleasant and comfortable. The travelling between the parks was very lengthy and I think it is better to spend longer in each park rather than to try and fit too much in and end up spending an awful lot of time in the safari van. The roads are not good and the traffic often very heavy too. The accommodation ranged from quite good hotels to basic tented camps. Upgrades might be preferred in these cases. The company provides good value for money compared with other quotes we received. I would recommend this company to others.
