The review below is the personal opinion of Ricky and not that of SafariBookings.
Bad experience
2/5

In short, we got white-collar pickpocketed. We booked a 7-day safari with Jipe Trekking and Safari. On the morning of departure, we were kept waiting at the hotel for hours such that the first day's activities had to be postponed. On day 3, it emerged that there were problems with the dedicated credit card the driver was provided with to pay the entry fee for Serengeti National Park (it seems the company doesn't trust their staff enough to provide them with a general credit card). We were driven around from bank to bank for hours until the driver was forced to give up and try again tomorrow. As a result, we were now a full day behind schedule. The consequence was that we had to subsequently reduce our time in some of the nicest areas on the trip in order to return on time. When we complained about the fact that we were effectively charged one seventh of the total trip fees to wait around during these delays - none of which were our fault - the owner refused to reimburse us, and was even quite emotionally abusive over email. I suspected his responses could have been cut and pasted from previous dissatisfied clients. We've now lodged a complaint to the Tanzanian consumer affairs department. Fingers crossed.

On the plus side, the rest of our time in Tanzania was great, from the very first moment we no longer had to deal with Jipe!

What Ricky wrote about me and my company is not TRUE!! They were serviced for everything they paid for and more! First the delays were caused by their own diet restrictions in which they were both Vegan and they proposed to spend more time shopping for their Vegan foods at the local market and small shops in which they were using more time reading brand lable of every vegan food we bought to make sure that they get the right products so they don’t get sick on safari, and they were happy in every moment of shopping and they were aware of their own time spent.
Normally after every client finish the safari we always meet at their hotel to discuss about how was the safari, But Ricky and his friend they disappeared and didn’t want to meet with me until when they arrived in Zanzibar is when they started writing me threatening emails and commanding me to pay them 650$ or they destroy my business. I asked my driver if they visited all the parks as it was mentioned in their itinerary and he said yes they saw everything! And no breakdown until the END
I have 12 years of experience organizing safari and treks expeditions in Tanzania and i have never had a negative review ever!! I was at the hospital just returned to find all these bad reviews from Ricky and i don’t know why???
I first organized their Kilimanjaro climb and they both made it successful to the Top safely! and i Secondly organized their 7 day safari they visited every national park, saw everything, and ate well. And both returned safely from safari. I went to their hotel to meet with them just after they finished the safari but the receptionist told me they left the hotel without a word.
Why didn’t they want to meet with me in person and complain about it instead of leaving the country all in one peace and start their abusive complain in the internet???
It’s hard sometimes to satisfy everyone, if what he wrote is their reward. Heartless couple!!
Their plan was to pressurize me so I can refund them free money!!
Very SAD!!

We had a very pleasant time. Safari was excellent!
5/5

We spent 4 days with jipetrekkingandsafaris and visited many interesting places at Northern Tanzania. We were at Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro National Parks. As a additional option we visited Maasai village where we got very good experience and knew a lot of information about Maasai culture.
Safari was arranged very professionally and as a result we saw many different animals like elephants, lions, zebras and so. My group consisted 3 adults and 3 children 12,13 and 15 years old.
Everyone was very glade to collaborate with jipetrekkingandsafaris.

Reliable tour operator not only for safari, no problems with payments, programm, level of service required. Good communication when in home preparing the trip, and on the spot very helpful too. I would recommend.
