Very passionate people!
The tour operator was very flexible and passionately. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the trips and guide and loved visiting the tourism school that is part of the company. It was really nice to talk to the future of the tourism industry in Zanzibar and I really can only recommend this company!

Great safari day in saadani
Fantastic safari is a reliable company managed by Abdallah Toyo. I do recommand him.

Great staff, but beware a bargain
My day trip to Saadani via speedboat from Zanzibar was a wonderful day out, but not without its complications. Abdallah was helpful and communicative from the start, but I had to pay $17 in Tanzanian bank fees to pay a deposit to hold my spot (not the operators’ fault, I appreciate). When the day of the Safari had to change due to adverse weather, the communication and rebooking process was excellent, and they even drove me to a different part of the island afterwards at no extra cost.
My main complaint is that the boat that took us from island to mainland and back was barely seaworthy. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the small size of the vessel, and learned that we had to wade through knee-deep water to disembark (I had asked beforehand if I should wear a swimsuit and was told no so I got my clothes wet!). En route back, the motor actually stopped working and we had to travel back at a very slow pace as a result, taking almost 3 hours instead of 75 mins. It was worrying, to say the least.
The Safari itself was indeed fantastic, and our park guides were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. All in all a great park to visit if like me you only have one day. We saw giraffe, Impala, elephants, many more animals. It was the ideal first Safari experience.

Kind and friendly
It was so good. The landscape is very beautiful. People are kind, and the atmosphere is always happy and friendly. You can try lots of exciting programmes, like visiting the old city, going to safari where you can see many animals, like zebras, lions, monkeys, elephants, crocodiles….etc. The price was accetable.

Initially we choose Fantastic Safaris for our Dar es Salaam safari. And after the safari, we went with them on two other guided tours. We where more than satisfied with the organization and the provided tour.
Each time we had Mr Abdallah Toyo as our guide. I can only recommend him. Very knowledgeable, kind and speaks a really good English!

It is a very customer oriented team
We went on a safari to Saadani by boat to Zanzibar. We knew that this reserve does not have huge numers of animals...so do did not have high expectations. It was a convenient option of same day safari. Kids enjoyed it and that is the most important. Great value for money!

Jambo! Fantastic Safaris, Sadaani safari was great from start to finish! It was really exciting seeing the animals in their natural habitat as well as stopping through the villages and being able to interact with the inhabitants. The lunch provided was extremely delicious and was by far the best meal I had consumed in Tanzania. My only complaint is when it was over! Really enjoyed this safari and looking forward to returning! Next time I will be doing The Serengeti :)

Most memorable experience with friendly stuff & excellent english
Hi!
I'm Gábor from Hungary and I did a Saadani safari with Abdallah.
The trip was simply outstanding. From Zanzibar -Nungwi- in the morning we had a pick up and a speedboat transfer to the Mainland. There started with the well equipped Jeep trip thru the park. Luckily we have seen around 50 giraffes (no joke!) and dozen of other spieces. The game ride was on a higher notch definiately due to our leader, Abdallah who provided intresting and fun facts about Tanzania and the ecosystem of Saadani and other national parks.
This tour was one of the most memorable, because of it I consider to go back to Africa for another game drive in one of the national parks.
I truly recommand this small 1 day trip, it's budget friendly and you can still get the taste the wildlife of animals! 5* from my aspect!
