Perfectly organized
Perfectly organized round trip throughout. We went to Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. Monika had very useful tips and excellent advice for any need. The best in the business
Friends in Harare recommended that we used The Safari Source for planning our two week trip around Zimbabwe. Monika really understood what we wanted from this holiday and developed a fantastic programme that perfectly matched our needs, our budget and our timescale. She had infinite patience in dealing with the National Parks authorities and found some great deals for us with the private camps.
Monika was even there for us with practical help whilst we were in the country. She went well beyond what could be expected. I have never met an operator who provided such good service after having received their money. I would recommend the Safari Source and will definitely be using them to book our next big trip. Monika was described as being "very good" by our friends, but I would say that she is the best in the business.

"Perfect Safari Vacation!"
Monika and team came highly recommended by a close friend who had their wedding in Botswana. Our trip started in South Africa then moved on to Botswana. All of our camps, hotels, bush planes and transfers were handling perfectly without a glitch. Amazing! Every guide in every camp was fabulous. We especially appreciated how Monika included a boat and walking camp in the middle of our other "African Massage" camps. (Bouncing in a truck can get a bit tiresome.) The food at all locations was fantastic. The animals were gorgeous and the photo memories are plentiful!
It all made for a wonderfully memorable experience! Thank you Monika and team!

The selected lodges were fine, especially Miombo Lodge with its animated water pool, full of elephants & buffalos. Thanks Monika also for the reservation of the Isuzu Big Horn 4WD at a reasonable price. The whole trip worked out as planned. The Safari Source is a reliable company.

Perfect organization = Perfect holiday !!
We went on a Trip with some close friends. It was our first Africa-Experience and it surely wouldn't be the last. The program was tough because we wanted to see a lot. The locations and the tours were perfectly organized.

Excellent! Reliable and friendly communication
The Service couldn´t have been better. We tried to organize a one-night-visit to VicFalls on our own- and failed. Safari Source took over, Monica got tickets, accomodation, transport and good ideas for us and made it a perfect stay. We enjoyed the visit at Vic Falls, the sundowner -tour on Sambesi river an early Safari, good food and accomodation al Lokuthula Lodge and the Hotel besides. Also nice service by the guys who help us in situ with tipps and transport.
Comunication with Monika was friendly, uncomplicated, the arrangements were done fast and reliably.

Amazing trip
We knew that it is very difficult to book directly by hotels. But Monika made it easy for us:she built for us an excellent safari plan.We did not have any headache with bookings as she made it all for us. Everything went like we wanted and we had a wonderful time in Zimbabwe without worries. She did an excellent job and she is very pro client.

Excellent service and thoughtful advice
The Safari Source is run by Swiss and Austrian women on-site in Zimbabwe. They know their destinations in Southern Africa inside out and provide an all professional service. From the very first moment we asked them for safari advice they were extremely helpful. Their booking documents are nicely laid out with lots of useful information on the destinations. Insightful, organized and reliable all the way
We worked with The Safari Source in organizing a trip from Botswana to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Monika was there to help us, patiently and promptly, every step of the way. She has been solid perfection from start to finish.
As the company is also based in Zimbabwe, they have the great advantage of knowing first hand the best accommodations, the most reliable operators and they understand how to best work and communicate with the locals. Which is very important because you need to know you're in good hands when traveling so far from home.
We discussed extensively about what kind of trip we wanted to have, what we wanted to see, what activities we would like to do, so that we can have a fully tailored itinerary. She then handled the bookings and put every piece together in a booklet with a fully detailed itinerary (dates, booking confirmations, accommodations, services, contact details and descriptions for each activity and place, instructions, directions, emergency contact numbers etc.). Moreover, we also kept in touch during the trip, so that they can make sure everything is going according to plan (And it did).
All the suggestions Monika made were excellent, the planning was impeccable and the whole experience was wonderful, beyond our expectations. We highly recommend working with The Safari Source in planning a memorable experience in Southern Africa.
