Marvelous trip to South Africa.
All thanks to Monika at the Safari Source putting together an 18-day round trip in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Most of the time we traveled four people together, with a program very well balanced between building knowledge about towns and game areas, and relaxing leisure in well-chosen accommodation. It was especially nice to see how smooth everything worked with pre booked transport and guiding. We will not hesitate to recommend the Safari Source for helping you to plan and assist in getting memories for life from the African continent
Roundtrip in Zimbabwe, perfectly organized by The Safari Source
Monika Korn of The Safari Source had been recommended to me by a friend. Hence I asked her to organize and book for my family of four a roundtrip of two weeks through Zimbabwe. Great Zimbabwe, Matobos, Hwange, Vic Falls and Mana Pools. Coming from Switzerland, we had to count on Monika's programme and bookings. Everything was perfect! Monika offers very personalized pre-trip counsel and she is always available for last minute changes. The partners of The Safari Source (hotels, lodges, camps) were excellent as well. Excellent company
This is an excellent company to use to organise your travel in Zimbabwe. Monika is really easy to deal with - she responds straight away to your emails, she is a fount of wisdom and knowledge, and she is honest as well. She was happy to offer us suggestions, such as ways for us to save money or places that were more convenient to us.
The thing that first-timers may not realise about Zimbabwe is that if you book hotels through a tour operator like The Safari Source, you get an honest price and by using the one company it means that you don't have to email all of the different places you plan to stay at and have lots of different bookings. It's much easier to plan your holiday this way - just contact one person and have them do all of the running around for you, knowing that you are paying the right price. Plus Monika can get you better deals on your transport hire (ie. car and driver) than you could yourself, and you know that they will be reliable. Local tour operators like TSS won't use unreliable people, but unless you live in the country you may not know who is reliable and who isn't.
I would definitely recommend The Safari Source to anyone that wants to visit Zimbabwe, and I will certainly be using them again. And I would definitely recommend Zimbabwe as a wonderful country to visit.

A few days at The Hide, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.
Around September of last year (2014) a couple university friends of mine expressed interest in visiting my home country, Zimbabwe. After some thought, I decided that a few days in Hwange would be very fitting, being the wonderful safari destination it is. I really had no idea of how to go about finding out which camp would best suit us and one that would be financially feasible for three travelling students. Through contact with one of the camps, I was put in touch with Monika Korn from the Safari Source. I am so very thankful for that connection. Monika turned out to be a real blessing, and helped hugely in finding the right place, getting the best deal and making sure all our travel requirements were met. Our trip to the Hide was brilliant. We saw all the big game and lots of it. The service at the Hide was fantastic and the food was unreal!!! Overall, an amazing memory. A big thank you to you Monika.

Easy, one stop shop!

Zimbabwe and Hwange was a great experience with very friendly people and not too many tourists. The Safari Source tailored a wonderful safari for us based on our needs and preferences. We had a very good dialogue and follow-up before, under and after the safari. The lodges and camps were very comfortable and the staff was very nice and professional. The guides were absolutely world class. We came very close to the animals and saw many different mammals and birds. We warmly recommend Zimbabwe and The Safari Source.

Safari Source has excellent local knowledge and provides great advice based on your own interests
My husband and I were squeezing in a short holiday in between work committments. We wanted to travel independently and stay in cosy but inexpensive places as close to nature as possible. Monika at Safari Source really listened to what we were after, made several excellent suggestions, and then booked everything for us. She recommended great accommodation options that my extensive internet searches never found, and was helpful throughout the planning process. We had a really wonderful and relaxing holiday and I would definitely contact Safari Source again for my next Zimbabwean holiday. Most Wonderful Girls' Road Trip
