We highly recommend Zohar, because we sincerely had an outstanding overall experience.
Lilian Kramer our chief organizer was extremely focussed and flexible to our individual needs. The nature and the landscapes were breathtaking. Our guide Solomon Akyoo was highly skilled and very professional at all times. Additionally we now believe that Tanzania might be one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We had some really unforgettable good times and memories during our trip.

Great trip
Zohar planned an amazing trip for us. They were responsive, accommodative, well organized, and overall great. We saw so much and were able to take in the beauty of Tanzania.
Our tour guide, Ahmed, was excellent! He was so knowledgeable, personable, easy-going, and had a great sense of humor. His ability to spot animals was top-notch. He truly made our tour the best. We would absolutely use Zohar again and highly recommend them.

Great Experience
Communications were exceptional. Safari exceeded expectations, with a great English-speaking and knowledgeable guide, on time pickups and logistical arrangements. Wonderful experience with Zohar!
We enjoyed everything about our experience with Zohar. Lillian was a pleasure to deal with - very positive and engaged, and she went beyond expectations, responding to all of my questions, even unrelated to the safari, and giving us options to best suit us. Our driver, David, was a great person to spend 4 days with. He is an experienced and skillful driver, as well as very knowledgeable and informative about the safari and Tanzania in general. He was excellent at finding animals - not just the big, popular ones, but also pointing out birds and smaller creatures. He also told us interesting facts about the country and the places that we passed through. The accommodations were very different each night, but all were great experiences. The food was very good - especially the hot lunches prepared by Zohar! I strongly recommend this tour guide and would love to do another trip with them!

A childhood dream comes true
I checked first with 3 different safari tours for 8 days safari trip before choosing Zohar. Lilian was incredibly efficient in planning our tour from the day of arrival to the day of departure, with all the details you can think of, straight from the start. I was ready to finalize payment after my first correspondence .
We arrived on 14th of Feb, she met us at our hotel with a flowers bouquet and chocolate box, it was really thoughtful. She also provided metallic bottles of waters engraved with our individual names. Lilian was also very attentional, checking on us every time if everything is meeting our expectations. The logistics, the accommodation where we stopped by in our tour were all 5 stars including the tent camps (except for Ndutu Heritage camp , but it was acceptable for just one night). The lunch provided was warm and not in boxes like for most other travelers , which convinces me to believe that Zohar company is really environmentally responsible. It felt also luxurious. David was our driver , a knowledgeable person, a pleasant companion and a skilled driver, paying attention to all the details, patient with us when we wanted to stop longer to take more pictures, excellent in finding animal spots. He once helped another driver whose car got stuck in the mud. He drives at the right paces (not recklessly as some of drivers we saw there) anticipating all our desires. He was blessed by a new baby boy while he was with us on the trip and yet he was still committed to our trip until the moment he dropped us off in the airport.
The experience in Tarangire , Ndutu , Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater was simply unique and indescribable . The passion for wild animals is shared within my family , but seeing them alive was breathtaking, especially at 'zero distance'. it was so vibrantly real yet so unbelievable at the same time.
we were in the car everyday from 7:15am until 6:30pm and never felt the time passing by. despite the many hours the ride was very comfortable.
We loved our trip from A to Z including the local people we met . Overall Zohar tour was beyond expectations and i strongly recommend them to any adventure lovers.

Great Family Safari
We had a specific itinerary in mind and traveled as a family of four with two young boys. Zohar was able to arrange this on a very short notice of less than one week.
The service was excellent and accommodation luxurious, great custom service everywhere, price was very reasonable but the best part was to enjoy the nature and connect with Serengeti.
Our guide Chillie became a mentor and friend and intimately knew his way around and after getting to know us made the trip special, personal and exiting for us. Thanks.

Amazing cultural Tanzania experience, simply couldn't be any better!
We are 3 people from the Netherlands whom booked a cultural experience through Lilian from Zohar African Safaris. What we were looking for, was an authentic cultural experience. Not a fake, staged performance but a real interaction with an authentic tribe. I have experience a number of other tribe interactions in other African countries before (9 in total) and I can honestly say this was the first time that I felt I visited a real tribe, living their authentic daily life and not performaning an act for us.
Before booking, Lilian was always available and she quickly and clearly answered all the questions we had. We booked our safari through another company and the tribe visit Lilian recommended was a little out of the way, but this was no issue for Lilian. She suggested some changes in our safari itinerary and this worked out very smoothly so we could easily add the tribe visit to our safari. I am very grateful to Lilian that she arranged this for us, it enriched our lives and really added to our stay in Tanzania.
The car used was very comfortable. It was a very spacious car, has good suspension on the uneven Tanzanian roads and the driver (Daniel) was very skilled - avoiding the potholes where possible and telling us interesting facts and stories about Tanzania and its people and traditions while he drove. Daniel comes highly recommended.
Zohar promises to offer a stress free holiday "built around you" and that is precisely what Lilian does - and more! She really goes the extra mile to make sure you're having the time of your life and that's why I can heartily recommend Zohar African Safaris to anyone looking to enjoy all that Tanzania has to offer. The trip with Zohar too the Hadzabe en Dagota tribes was very wel organized and very interesting
Zohar booked for me one night in The Retreat at Ngorongoro which was a wunderfull place; looks like a paradice. The staff ,service and 'dinner in this hotel was perfect. The other day David, the ecxcelent driver off Zohar brought me too the Hadzabe and too the Dagotatribe; to meet this people who were very hospitable and friendly and to see how they live was for me an experience I never will forget. With some guys from de Hadzabetribe we went on a tripp into the woods too see how they hunt ; really great! Lilian, the owner off Zohar organised everything very wel and gave me a lott off information about Tanzania. I also stayed one night in the B&B beside here house which was also a very clean, quiet and beautifull place.

The Best Safari Team!!!
We went on an individual safari for the two of us. This was our first safari experience in life. At first it was a little exciting because it is very far from home. They were afraid to be lost in expectations. But in the end, all our fears were in vain. We received excellent service, an individual approach and many wonderful emotions. Special moment in my life that I’ll remember forever!
Everything was so wonderful and the customer service was beyond helpful! You guys are amazing & our guide, Solomon, was fantastic! The lodges that we stayed in were one of my favorite parts, as they were all beautiful and also very attentive to our needs. I will recommend Zohar to anyone I know going to Tanzania!
