Gorilla and Chimpanzee safari
I had a great time on this trip, my first 5 days in Uganda were made super easy being with this tour. The car was perfect, and the tour guide was fantastic. Communications before hand were good, very helpful in deciding which tour I wanted to go on. All of the day trips, hotels, food were great, I had no problems with the trip, and would recommend the tour to anyone looking into going to this beautiful country.

Easy and enjoyable every step from booking to touring
Communication was excellent, often responding to emails within an hour. Always polite and pleasant, answered all my questions without hesitation. Once we arrived in country, our guide Jason was punctual and polite, and made the whole experience so easy and effortless for us. He even went the extra mile by racing back to a restaurant to retrieve our forgotten camera when his shift was over and he could have gone home. I highly recommend this company, couldn’t fault them at all. Thanks for fabulous experience.

Amazing Safari with a knowledgeable and friendly guide!
Our trip with Encounter Africa Safaris was amazing! From the beginning, the communication with Chris was great. He always responded within 24 hours and answered all of the questions we had. We decided to go with Encounter Africa because we felt it was the best value and they had great customer service. Once we decided to book with them, we were give the option to pay via credit card, which would adds a 5% fee or wire the money through our banks. We wired the money and while it may make people nervous, the process was easy and Chris confirmed for us when payment was received.
When we arrived at Entebbe airport, our guide Tolbert was waiting to pick us up! Tolbert was great throughout the entire journey! He was very nice and was able to explain so much to us about the animals, Ugandan culture and more! He stayed with us the entire journey and drove us all over the country! We even decided to change our itinerary last minute to include white water rafting and Jinja and he was more than accommodating, handling all of the necessary hotel and rafting reservations for us!
During the trip we went gorilla tracking in Bwindi, did game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and chimp walking in Kibale forest! It was an unforgettable trip and Encounter Africa Safaris exceeded our expectations! All of the accommodations they arranged for us were amazing as well! We paid for budget accommodations but they were very nice and each unique in their own way!
I would highly recommend Encounter to anyone looking to experience all that Uganda has to offer!
Excellent communication and organization and a very good tour which exceeded our expectations
Our driver, Jason, was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable as well as being a good driver. He taught us a lot about local things in Rwanda and Uganda. The tented camp and gorilla trekking as well as the village tour were outstanding and the staff were very kind and helpful. All was very well done.

An unforgettable Amazing trip
From the begining everything was very well organized. Communication was fast and easy, and everything was on time.
The guide was amazing. He was so nice, good and knowledgeable. He was funny and we enjoyed talking to him and listening to his expereince. The lodges were beautiful and the food was soo tasty. We have been to more than 60 countries and we have never met people nicer, kinder and more polite than people in uganda. We felt safe.
I would highley recommend it. Our tour guides were Patrick and Paul, Thank you very much again for making our trip great and being so awesome.

It was very well organized. I got to see everything I wanted and highly recommend!
The communication was fantastic and proactive and the trip was well planned and enjoyable. In fact, I had trouble with me luggage at the airport and while I ended up getting my bags in time, they had a contingency plan to have them delivered if they arrived (even) later.... which I appreciated. It's that level of customer service that made the trip even more enjoyable.

Day 1 he was great, but his Lack of follow through and dishonesty with $ exchange were disappoint
The tour itself was everything I had hoped for. The group was great and went a great pace. The gorillas were amazing, and we had a few surprises on the way back when we met some on the trail! The flight back was wonderful, but the driver dropped me off over an hour and a half early to the local airport, which I didn’t think was necessary. It would have been nice to have been more relaxed at the hotel a bit longer as opposed to sitting at the local airstrip.

Incredible Experience and Top Service
This was an absolutely flawless experience. I have booked this safari two months in advance for me and my girlfriend, unsure of which dates I would be able to go, and was a bit apprehensive about sending off money to a company that far ahead of time without guaranty other than an email.
The team was transparent from the beginning and allowed me to change my dates further down the line for the Gorilla Permits, as well as only paying for these upfront and wait until I was there to settle the balance.
Our Guide, Ben Aloysius Kyeyune was a joy to be around, extremely knowledgeable and with a rare intelligence. I have had the chance to travel to many countries and this guy was one of the best tour guide you could ask for, we truly bonded over the 3 days we were there.
The Gorilla Trekking was flawless, this is one of the best trip you can make, fascinating by all accounts, and the BroadBill Camp we stayed at in Bwindi was gorgeous. The tents have their own shower with hot water and bathroom, and monkeys are hanging out in front of the balcony. It was quiet and out in the wild, a truly beautiful experience.
Don't think twice, just go for it.
