Tanzanian owned with the finest guides.
My husband and I worked with Earthlife Expeditions to design a custom luxury 12-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. The trip exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed wonderful hospitality at fabulous accommodations (including Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Mpingo Ridge Lodge), saw more wildlife than we ever imagined and were wowed by the guides - especially Herman, our guide in Tanzania. By working with this Tanzanian owned company, we travelled in luxury for far less money than if we booked with the US based tour operators.

Amazing and very experienced
This Safari was amazing! Every attention was paid to every detail. Paul, our guide was amazing. He was so experienced, and he found all of the big five for us. Paul became our friend and we miss him now that the Safari is over. He gave us so much information above and beyond what we expected. Inno, the sales manager, even helped us as we traveled onto our next destination (Zanzibar). We highly recommend Earthlife expeditions. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worth Every Penny
Our honeymoon trip to Tanzania was amazing. Two weeks split between national parks & Zanzibar gave us a nice mix of adventure and relaxation. Herman Kiriama was our guide for the safari portion. He was extremely knowledgable (wildlife experience), accommodating, and easy to get along with. My wife & I highly recommend Herman! We saw all of the big cats and one rhino from a distance (+LOTS of other wildlife). We went snorkeling on Zanzibar and saw a lot of sea creatures. The food was good- there were US/UK options and Tanzanian-inspired dishes. Lodging was excellent. The money transaction process was easy enough. I highly recommend you consider Earthlife Expeditions.

Serengeti Heaven
My wife and I went on our honeymoon in Tanzania, first an 8 day safari with Earthlife and then 5 days in Zanzibar, basically because no where else would let US citizens into their country.
I chose Earthlife because it's a local operator, and one of the most reputable in the biz. I worked with Caudence on our itinerary for 2 months getting it just right. Earthlife is definitely the way to go in terms of service and quality. During the trip our guide Jeff worked to get our tickets from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam worked out... something that had nothing to do with Earthlife and they were only able to do because the owner had a relationship with the owner of the airline. Earthlife makes things happen.
Speaking of Jeff, he was an incredible guide! He was tireless, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, positive, and funny. He was often first to the scene of awesome sights and he'd go the extra mile - one time we were headed back to camp and he heard there was a rhino on the radio and we went back like an hour just to try to see this one rhino and round out the big 5 (they're pretty rare here). You need to request Jeff.
Tanzania is gorgeous and now is the time to see it. Every game park is like your personal wildlife paradise. The people are very kind and unobtrusive. They've been suffering from the Covid economy and you're going to get awesome rates and personalized service. Jeff said the number of vehicles is about 10% of normal. It's like going to disneyland some random mid week vs the saturday before Christmas. The risk of getting Covid is nil from the locals. (Obvi you need to get tested before you come to protect them).
Earthlife and Jeff, remember the names!

Perfect Travel Companion ensuring security, comfort and enriching experience.
We had life changing experience in Tanzania. Meeting dedicated and hardworking citizens, knowing about the country's rich history, culture and ofcourse wildlife Safari ! For both me and my husband the countless number of Animal Planet and Discovery Channel episodes of Wildlife took life and suddenly broadened our horizon! Safari was an entirely new experience for us and we are sure we would like to engage in more such experiences in future. A large part of this credit goes to Earthlife Expedition!!!
Special credit goes to our Travel Partner Paul from Earthlife Expedition who was the perfect host for us. It was the time around Christmas that we took this trip. Paul, had no regrets about being away from family. He made us his family and took care of every detail of our trip. Earthlife Expedition had detailed out our trip in quite an elaborate manner covering Tarangeri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks. Our Safari was ofcourse a success given we sighted the big 5 :D
The stay was planned in high quality camps and lodges. Food was good in each of them. The staff at these lodges was welcoming and assuring of a safe stay even when we were in the middle of the jungle.
We would highly recommend earthlife expedition to people who are planning to take Safari in Tanzania and nearby contries.
We thank them for helping us create so many lifetime memories. We wish them all the best for a very bright future!

An unforgettable trip! ASANTE SANA!
An unforgettable trip! We will never forget our safari with Eartlife and our spanish & english speaking guide Jeff. Asante sana !
We choose Earthlife based on all the positive reviews and comments and we were not disappoint, our safari exceeded our expectations. Our trip was organized by Caudence, she kept in constant communication with us and answered everyone of questions very quicly.
Our guide, Jeff made us feel comfortable and we had a really good time with him. His personality was just so pleasant and we felt like friends. He’s experienced and competent, he knows all about the fauna, history and the local culture. Asante sana Jeff, you are EL LEON DE TANZANIA ! We thank you for all this time spend together and for all your efforts to help me to take wonderful photos. We will remember you forever!
We did a 7 days trip and see Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. All of the accommodations were wonderful in biutiful locations and we spent a really nice time after a day on the road. We loved the pools in Simba Tarangire Tented Lodge & Ngorongoro forest lodge, also the food was really good and the staff at each location we stayed were professional and very attentive.
We had a wonderful experience in Tanzania, and enjoyed the sounds and the magic of this beautiful land, above all in our Serengueti lodges. We could see lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, zebras… lots of wonderful animals! We particularly enjoyed our visit to a Massai village where we could see a little bit of their daily life and specially the little children at school. Really nice experience !
I highly recommend Earth Life if you want to live a safary in Tanzania
We had a 5-Star trip!
This was our first safari, we were a group of 2 couples, and our experiences really quite extraordinary. We want to thank everyone at Earthlife, from our first contact Angel who promptly answered our many questions while deciding which company to use, to our last driver Casey in Zanzibar, but especially our safari guide, Joseph. Our itinerary included 8-day safari (Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngoongoro) and 5 days in Zanzibar. Joseph is a driver-, spotter-, birder-extraordinaire, a lot of fun and he made the best coffee each afternoon! The truck was cleaned inside and out each night, he ensured we were all comfortable and involved and even made lunch suggestions to the chefs. Thank you Joseph! You really made this safari the best!

Highly recommended!
We interviewed three safari operators before choosing Earthlife. This locally based company is worthy of your trust and provided us with a spectacular experience. Our trip was tailored to our requests.
Many thanks to our guide, Herman, who was very skilled at maximizing the animal sitings.
Overall, both the accommodations and food were good to very good.
Having previously done a safari in South Africa, we can assure you that this experience is far superior as an adventure.
We highly recommend that you choose this local company over foreign based interests!

Trip of a Lifetime! Simply the BEST guide and outfit in the business...
From the initial planning to the final drop off, we felt well-cared and all arrangements efficiently handled on this well curated safari. But what made this trip truly memorable was our brilliant guide, Joseph. His eagle-eyes and sixth sense for getting us front-of-the-pack sightings and close encounters, his amazing bird identifications and behind the scenes preparations ensured that each moment of our 6 day safari was worth every jolt of the jeep. He was fun to be with, the best dressed guide out there, and made the best coffee.... our delicious hot lunches made us the envy of every other tour group. The Earthlife team deserves credit for all the arrangements, lodgings, and array of activities which rendered this a trip of a lifetime and reminded us of our insignificant place on this planet.
