My trip
5/5

The parks are quiet and the guides excellent. We particularly enjoyed the adventure camp experience and will definitely do this again. It was also the first time we have flown between parks, it made the trip more expensive but with our limited time it made sense and was a great experience. All our connections worked like clockwork and the overnight international flight helps to maximise time on holiday. What was great was that the day travelling between parks was set up to include two game drives so it didn't feel like a transit day and in fact included two of our most exciting sightings of leopard and lions.

We chose the parks from the excellent reviews we had read on the website. The brochure pictures of wild dogs are perhaps misleading as the local guides said their range is so huge you are unlikely to see them and we are realistic enough to know that these are very difficult to see.

A memorable and well organised trip
5/5

Our advisor was knowledgeable and helpful, and was mindful of the fact that we were hoping to have high quality wildlife experiences but that we did not have an unlimited budget. She made many helpful suggestions, and was very successful in meeting our aims. I spoke to Chris at one time, and he made some helpful suggestions which we later appreciated, particularly about flying from Arusha directly to Ruaha, and not taking the Dar Express to Dar first (which was our original plan so that we might visit the Usambara Mountains, but this would not have been feasible in the time available). Ellie's planning was very thorough, and everything worked smoothly. Seems that Safarihub was a good choice !

A life-changing experience
5/5

This trip was a big financial investment - but worth every penny.
We have wonderful memories, a journal and many photographs. Would always recommend working with an experienced safari specialist , tour operator - such as Safarihub- particularly if it is your first trip. Think it would be helpful to describe a typical Safari day - early rise etc. Also, a traveller's itinerary printed on one single sheet would make the trip easier to manage.

5/5

We had a wonderful and unforgettable trip. We loved every part of it and we would love to come back.

We were so happy to to see such beauty: the landscapes, the wildlife, the flora.

We highly recommend Safarihub, a great safari company with outstanding safari camps with a bush feeling, amazing guides and very nice staff , thank you.

My 2016 trip

Overall a wonderful holiday.

All arrangements were to our satisfaction and as promised.

We can't wait to go again. Beho Beho in the "green season" is a distinct possibility

Incredible Honeymoon in Africa
5/5

Our trip was incredible! Our first time in Africa and our first trip of this extent and we couldn't be happier. We had the perfect combination of safari, tent, beach, hotel and enjoyment.
The Serengeti is a MUST stop! We got to see the crossing about 4-5 times which was breathtaking. The camp was unreal and everybody should experience a mobile camp bucket shower :) The staff at both tented camps were out of this world.

We looked Asilia!! They were truly unbelievable. The staff was so reliable, intelligent and just fun to be around. We felt completely at home with them and safe. It was so great to work with them!

Our retirement trip
5/5

It was absolutely a fabulous trip. We are seasoned off-the-beaten-track travellers and I absolutely marvel that everything, everything, worked exactly as it was supposed to. Here we were, in the middle of central Tanzania, waiting for a 10:05 flight. Guess what? At 10:03, there was the plane, buzzing animals off the grass runway, then touching down to pick us up. It happened every time.

How do they manage to have tonic, gin, lime, glasses, ice, and potato chips in Katavi? It must be a logistical nightmare--but there was my gin and tonic, always perfectly served. Dazzling!

We felt safe, treated so well by enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring staff throughout..... And then there were the animals. We never saw a rhine, because they have been poached to virtual extinction in East Africa, but we saw most everything else, and up close and personal. Having a leopard on your tent porch is not something I will soon forget.

Tanzanian adventure
5/5

We had a fabulous return to Africa (our first visit for almost 40 years!). We were recommended to Safarihub by friends living in Tanzania and were very impressed with the service provided. James provided us with a great deal of information and if he couldn't answer a question he said so!

My Mar 2016 trip

The highlight was Laikipia Wilderness Camp which was absolutely amazing but the return trip down the Rift valley was very enjoyable too. As always the arrangements made by safarihub were smooth and efficient throughout.

Altogether yet another brilliant safari experience - the best yet!

We wouldn't have changed a thing
5/5

After a safari to Botswana in September 2014 we decided to visit Tanzania in green season, deliberately targeting Selous and Ruaha as a less busy area. Both locations far exceeded expectations and offered a very varied landscape with wildlife to match.

Our three camps were different in character and in how they operate. We were so glad we spent five nights at each as this allowed time to fully explore each area as well as getting to know the guides and staff. We didn't travel with expectations of seeing particular animals and with the bush in full growth thought sightings might be more elusive. However, we saw everything we thought we might see and much more. The number and variety of birds, including migrants, was stunning.

Everything went like clockwork, including camps being aware that we are vegetarian (not a problem!). Without exception staff were friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. The time flew by and more than 3,000 photographs later, we were sad to leave. We wouldn't have changed a thing.
