Excellent & Reliable Service for all your Safari Needs!!
I've used Peter and his team for several safari experiences (Samburu, Naivasha, Nairobi National Park) and day trips (Tea Farm, Ostrich Farm, African Heritage House)! He always hits it out of the park! Great service, clear communication, and detailed itineraries. I also very much appreciate his flexibility in incorporating customizations of your choosing!
Fantastic Masai Mara safari
I had three days to spare in Kenya after a work trip to Nairobi, and after shopping around I booked a two night trip to Masai Mara with Africa Flash Mc Tours. Peter was great to work with and the logistics were all really clear and everything was well organised. I was in a van with some great people which made travelling to and from Masai Mara fun, and the Mara Sopa lodge that we stayed in was lovely. The staff were friendly, the roaming monkeys were feisty, and the food was delicious. I wish I could have had some extra time to just hang out at the hotel.
The safari itself was as terrific as everyone says, and the memories of the Masai Mara will last a lifetime. In addition Peter was available and helpful on the couple of times that issues arose. I strongly recommend this business.

Blessed Experience - Beyond the Expected - Not just recommending but saying the ultimate Way to Go!!
We are not “just” recommending booking your Safari adventures with Africa Flash McTours, but confidently telling that Flash is the ultimate way to Go!!! From my pre-Safari planning days, to the day we started our 9 Days Safari and finally to the late evening drop off after our incredibly blessed adventure was over, my Family loved every moment of it.
You can say I found Flash McTours by a fluke - I’m a Kenyan Mother and had for 3 months t been planning a “know your motherland” tour of Kenya for my 3 American born and raised Children (2 Sons and a Daughter). Due to the importance I had put in this Tour for my Children, I made a short trip to Nairobi (from my duty station in a neighboring African country) 3 weeks before the scheduled Safari to put the final touches on this journey. I was all set and planned to physically visit offices of the “premium” Tour Company I had for 3 months communicated with on e-mails planning for the Safari – was a fixed morning appointment.
However, on the way from the airport with my Nephew who picked me up at JKIA, who I had asked to take me straight to the offices of my (then) tour operator told me of Peter’s Africa Flash McTours. We changed our plans and rather than go to my planned tour operators’ offices downtown Nairobi, my Nephew took me to Peter’s Offices on Ngong Road, Nairobi – guess that was the end of story for my earlier scheduled tour operators’ appointment!!
Peter does not only run a great Tour Service but he is a very nice, respectful and motivated young man, who I (as a Kenyan Mother) could not help but admire his personality right on spot. Peter knows his business all way round with professionalism beyond reproach. I truly felt Peter’s love and resolve to give me the ultimate fulfillment for my passion on this Safari with my Children - he was ready and well equipped to make it as memorable as I had passionately described it to him. Peter’s proactive sense to solidify my confidence (a Mother who seemed to love her Children with a passion) was even more manifested when he organized for a very reasonable Travel Insurance package with the Kenya Flying Doctor’s service, just to assure me that my Children’s well-being was also in good hands.
I left Nairobi a week later back to my duty station and my communication with Peter went on seamlessly as if I was still in Kenya. Peter’s attention to detail is profound. He kept me updated 24/7 on e-mails with every detail of the planned Safari such that I did not have to keep calling on phone (which would have otherwise led to expensive international calls). He articulately kept me informed every step of the way, promptly making the numerous changes I requested on the itinerary without getting tired of my sometimes hysterical demands.
Peter put together a wonderful 9 Day Safari Package that was incredibly just the right size for my Wallet!! I may not have to say, but this package sliced off so much unnecessary “fat” out of the package that I had been offered with my other tour operators - it was unbelievable!! The Safari took us to the Amboseli, Ol-Pejeta, the Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and finally the show stopper 3 days at the great Maasai Mara. Peter’s choice of our accommodation throughout the Safari was right on spot - he knew exactly what would excite and make memorable experience for my Children, hence put us up in Luxury Tented Camps all the way. The accommodations made my Children truly immerse themselves in the authentic Safari spirit, away from the traditional hotels environment such that none of them noticed the erratic permanently weak WiFi connections – for them, it was Safari time away from the video games and social media. My Children hogged on to the 3 square fresh homemade Meals with Breakfast itself as big as lunch and dinner - a glorious welcome break from the junk food and Pizza slices they usually go for in the US – they’ve came out healthier and totally lost in taste for junk food.
The ultimate blessing that came with Peter’s Africa Flash McTours was Edward Mathu our cherished, most lovable Tour Guide!! Edward turned out to not only be our very good Tour Guide but a Teacher for my Children, a big Brother, and to me a fine Son!!. Edward is a young gentleman with (Tour Guide) professionalism beyond reproach. Edward knows the Wild with a profound knack for spotting the Wildlife in their most unexpected hide outs. For this, we were able to view each and every Wildlife species there is in Kenya including the Big 5, the small 100s, the Birds, the Mountains, the Rivers, the Vegetation and even the Sunset spectacle. The knowledge/education that my Children has gained out of this Safari has surpassed all my expectations - thanks to Edward. Edward turned all the Game Drives into a customized Classroom for my Children from which they emerged calling out all the viewed Wildlife and Bird species by brand and name - from the Big Cats lead by the roaring Pride of Lions, the Cheetahs and the Leopards; Hippo the endangered species which Kenya Wildlife Rangers guard with a passion; the Elephants with their “short rear left leg crossed” majestic stand; the royal “catwalk” of Giraffes as they tip toed crossing the road like models “on heels”; the Zebras all in white and black stripes, the Waterbucks, the Gazelles, the Antelopes; the Chimpanzees and Monkeys; the Owls, Eagles, and the Beauty Princess Ostriches… phew… tis like Edward lives with the Wild ones as he knew exactly where to find them!!. We were the first ones to sport 2 Leopards in Lake Nakuru and 2 Cheetahs at the Maasai Mara (who incidentally everyone was looking for) and Edward drove right up to where the beautiful “Cats” were taking a nap!!
The Showstopper Maasai Mara was the height of our excitement and with Edward’s super planning, we were able to witness the spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration!! Edward knew the exact right timing for us NOT to miss this spectacular 8th Wonder of the World!! He had calculatedly planned to keep us busy with a morning Game Drive and had our packed lunch before finally getting to the Mara River, where many others had camped inside their Tour Vans since morning waiting for the river-crossing to happen. We got there right on time to take a good view of this wonder which saw us watch in awe the Wildebeest accompanied by large numbers of Zebras, Gazelles, and Impalas crossing the Mara River!!
The height of excitement was when Edward drew our attention to a humongous Crocodile which had positioned itself strategically to grab a meal of at least one of the bold “migrators” and for sure it grabbed a Baby Wildebeest in its long tipped mouth - but not for long. Just like by some “supernatural intervention” the Baby Wildebeest freed himself and hopped out of the Crocodiles mouth!! We were now all screaming and cursing out the bad Crocodile to my personal gratification (as a Mother) to see that “Child” escape from the jaws of this bad boy Crocodile. The other heartwarming scene was when we watched as 6 Zebras who could not (on sighting the Crocodile) climb the hill after crossing the river decided to make a turn back across the river for safety. In what looked like a family “boardroom resolution” the 5 Zebras decided to cross back to the side they had come from. What was even more touching is when we noticed the 6th Zebra who had climbed the Hill way past the Crocodile also turning back on seeing his “siblings” crossing back - we could just see the human side of these Wild Kenyans!!
There’s so much to tell about our Safari which my Children termed an experience straight out of the Lion King Block Buster, but one thing this experience exhumed in our spirit is the abundant love and passion we hold for our Country Kenya!! We are going back to the USA with plentiful of love, passion and pride for our Country!! Our cherished experience is in the knowledge that our Motherland has given our Kenyan Wildlife Brothers and Sisters a royal sanctuary to live their normal lives among us Human Kenyans. It was humbling to watch all those Wildlife species go about their daily lives in their legally bona fide environment undisturbed thus confirming to us that those species that some humans call and hunt as “animals” are as human as we are, with feelings just like us humans have, hold love for each other just like we humans do, and are their own “my brother’s Keeper” just like us Kenyan Humans do - Kenya as a country, Kenyan species both Humans and Wildlife are truly a blessed lot - true to the saying, Kenya Nchi Yetu Hakuna Matata…………

Incredible Masai Mara Experience
We had an incredible 3-day safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. We booked the tour through Africa Flash McTours & Travel. Peter (the trip organizer) was excellent – he responded promptly to numerous email and phone inquiries we made prior to taking the trip and accommodated our every request including drop off/ pick-up, lodge reservation etc. Peter and the tour guide Cyrus (the absolute best!) picked us from our hotel in Nairobi and took care of us completely until we were dropped off at the airport. Cyrus is very courteous, very knowledgeable, efficient and thoughtful. He knows the vast national reserve like the back of his hand (there are no street signs or even roads) and he knew where (and when) to find the lions, cheetahs and other animals. Because of Cyrus’ expertise, we saw every kind of animal there is to see up close and we were surprised how those animals completely ignore people and vehicles. Thanks to Cyrus, we even saw a lioness hunting a water buffalo, but the herd charged her back. We saw the elusive black rhino and much more-ever seen a jackal? He even went out of his way to find us a hyena. We saw wildebeest migrate across the Mara river which also had alligator and hippos in the area. Cyrus always made sure we had the absolute best view. He arranged a picnic lunch for us-which was pretty awesome too!
Our accommodation in AA Lodge was very comfortable – no mosquitos, hot water (you just have to leave it on for 10 mins before you get it, but that is ok), comfortable bed, etc. The safe deposit box did not have any batteries so we could not use it. We lost a pair of diamond earrings. We were asked to give our room keys every morning before leaving for game drives so they can clean which was unnecessary (we would have preferred to pick up new towels etc. but no cleaning). We tried to contact AA lodge to check on lost & found but no luck. Peter and Cyrus also tried to reach out to AA Lodge folks. Other than this very unfortunate experience, we had an amazing tour and enjoyed every minute of it. Peter and Cyrus are awesome–we highly recommend them.

An unforgettable experience
Me and my girlfriend signed up for an 11-day trip with the best of Kenya and Tanzania. It was supposed to be small group safari but since our arrival to Kenya went 34 late due to flight troubles, we ended up with a private safari except for the first 4 days when we had company by one person. We had to pay some extra because of the private tour but we were glad that Peter could postpone the trip one day.
Our first guide, Edward were truly services-minded and patient. He always made his best to give us good spots where we could take the best pictures! After 6 fantastic days in Kenya where we spent the nights at mid- to luxury hotels, we switched to survival mode and started camping in Tanzania. We think the trip were perfectly planned where we had to test a bit of each. During the Tanzania-part of the safari, we always had company of our private chef Tom who cooked us delicious food! And our guide Ephraim was always glad and positive.
I'am pretty sure we paid less for our trip than many other people out there on the savanna, but we still looked at the same animals, got great guides and slept at nice places. I Never thought I would sit on tripadvisor and write a review but Africa Flash Mc Tours (and Edward ofc.) are worth the best of recommendations!

Friendly and flexibility without compromise in quality.
Everyone says Peter is a good guy. Indeed, he's well organized manager and also provide the flexibility of our safari planning in very beginning. The local guide Bonnie Faces in Mt. Kenya trail, impressed me of himself as a modern Kenyian guide with good education and knowledge, we chat all the way in the trail. The Kenyan guide Leonard and Tanzanian guide William from Gosheni, both are very good in eyesight to track the wildlives that we are looking for, also very kind and patient during the safari. That's why we saw not only the animals, but also some important behaviors. The accommodation is very satisfactory, including high-level hotel in national park, and well-decorated tents in different styles and locations. Although the whole traveling route is bumping, we did enjoy the trip a lot. In the end of the trip (our last night in Nairobi), Peter personally showing-up, present a very good hospitality, all the way until we left to the airport.

Friendly and flexible safari tour without any compromise in Kenya and Tanzania.
First time safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania, four of us really enjoy the trip. Everyone said Peter is a good guy, initially I feel everything is well organized. The two-weeks' safari trip including Aberdare, Mt. Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Lake Amboseli in Kenya, as well as Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara in Tanzania. The Kenyan guide Leonard and Tanzanian guide William (from Gosheni) are professional and patient with very good eyesight. We were not only able to see different wild lives, but also have the chance to watch their behaviors of predating, mating, playing, etc. Although the black rhino is very hard to see in distance, we collected all big fives in this trip.
By the end of our trip, Peter shows up and presents very good hospitality, very nice to chat with and knowing each other between Kenya and Taiwan. We did experience good treatment by heart and nice faces from Kenya and Tanzania. With best wishes and respective to the both countries, who are willing to reserve such big lands for wild lives.

Great experience. Well organised yet flexible tour
Really enjoyed the tour. Peter (the organiser) was always prompt, friendly and very helpful in responding to any questions we had.
The service was great as we had the luxury of a private vehicle with a good driver (important on poor road conditions in the game reserves) who was also experienced and knowledgeable which enabled us to maximise the value of the tour.
The accommodation was in line with expectations and of the standard promised whilst the good definitely exceeded expectations.
Overall, a really great, fun experience put together by Flash Mc Tours

There was so much about this trip that was great, that it's difficult to put into words
The idea of a safari had been on the cards for quite some time, but it wasn't until my girlfriend researched safari providers that the idea came to fruition. She had come across a Guardian article that recommended Africa Flash MC Tours to us. We went onto the website and found a whole host of options for us to choose from, and at extremely competitive prices - seriously, they were great prices; check out the website. Once we had agreed upon packages and dates, my girlfriend went about contacting Peter, the owner, through the contact form. Communication could not have been more pleasurable and informative. I really give Peter kudos for this because he was more than willing to exchange email after email, filled with information so that we would be fully prepared for everything. He also made himself available on the phone - I believe he saved my number because one time he picked up he answered and immediately said hello using my name. The customer service was immaculate.
Now, onto the Safari. I honestly do not possess the vocabulary or eloquent enough command of English to fully convey how life changing safari was. It was ridiculous. We saw animals, habitats, ways of living, and people that have been the domain of televised national geographic since childhood. Our trip was comprised of two packages - 4 days on the Maasai Mara and 3 days in Tanzania/Arusha. The 4 days on the Maasai Mara were insane and probably my favourite. Before I get ahead of myself let me rewind and begin from when the trip actually started....
We arrived and stayed in Nairobi (which was an experience in itself) and were picked up from the hotel by Peter himself and dropped up at a meetup spot where we were placed into a safari bus with 5 others from our new group. Our driver, Isaac, upon introduction I could tell he would be a cool guy - he was always so chilled and seemed to know everything about safari. We drove to our camp in Maasai Mara, which was like a glamping tent with a en suite bathroom. Really great stuff. The next 4 days were insane. We saw everything except the leopard. I took so many pictures.
The next leg of the trip was to Tanzania for a 3 day Safari to Taragire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. This was a personal safari with just us and the driver and no other guests. Our driver, James, was a young guy who'd been a driver for no more than 3 years. We got on with him like a house on fire. Our camp was great - we even had a personal chef. Once again, the sites and views while on safari were insane, and James did a great job of showing us around.
We finished our safari and headed on to Zanzibar for some couples time, but we couldn't help but feel a sense of loss that we had left safari. I now am seriously thinking about coming back, maybe on my own so I can take pictures, and if I do it will be with Peter and his company.
Something important to note is that these trips felt so well organised that I'm not used to it. There were basically no hiccups, we felt extremely well taken care of, and at no time did we feel we were not in good hands. It really was that good. It was visceral. What a great show. We wish Peter every success and I hope to meet with him again in the near future.
You can see some of the pictures I took next to this review.
