Amazing week long safari with Leonard!
5/5

What an incredible week thanks to our guide Leonard (and Peter for arranging). We did a 6 day safari around Kenya, going to three parks. On our first safari, we saw everything in this week! All of the 'big 5' plus so so much more. From the cheetahs lazily laying in the grass, to the rhino walking within feet of our van, to the countless giraffe that my wife and I couldn't help but stare every time. Leonard was fantastic and always made sure we were taken care of. We choose the 'Standard' accommodation package and were so impressed with all the lodgings - they were nicer than we expected. The whole week was unforgettable and absolutely amazing. Thank you!

Wonderful family trip to Amboseli.
5/5

The 3 day trip to Amboseli was excellent and more than we expected. The booking process was easy and we found A F Mc Tours to be very helpful and not at all pushy. The safari was exactly as described and our driver (John) was friendly and very professional. Good value trip. Kibo was great and our children loved it. Great atmosphere, lovely pool and genuinely friendly staff. Good value lodge. Highly recommended.

Incredible safari - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli
5/5

First of all if you're trying to decide on how many days to do, I think 6 days was the ideal amount. The first day and the last day are mostly driving to and from the parks, so that gives you 4 days of safari time, and even during those days there's a lot of driving between the parks. If we had done any fewer days we wouldn't have gotten to see everything we wanted, so, 6 days is good (provided you're OK with lots of bumpy driving).

We had a great time on this safari. Our driver was John and he was an absolute delight -- he studied safari for years at a university and told us all sorts of cool things about the animals we were seeing. He also was an amazing driver, and he could spot animals from far away that other vans and jeeps had missed. In Masai Mara he took us on a route to see a sleeping female lion that nobody else saw -- we were the only ones there. It was really, really cool.

We also saw a leopard in a tree (!) and a cheetah, and then about 50,000 zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, gazelles... my god, it was everything we wanted.

The company is very reliable and responds swiftly. They pick you up wherever you're staying the morning of the first day, and they take you back to wherever you want to go when it's over. They handle everything and it's nice not to worry about any of that stuff.

The lodging is really top notch. I recommend the cheapest option (the "tents") because they're really glamorous, it's not like an actual camping tent. It's basically a hotel room in a resort with a tented roof. It's awesome.

One of our worries going into it was the food situation, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Breakfasts and dinners are great -- basically a buffet with good coffee and fresh fruit juice. Lunch can be a little iffy, it's basically a box lunch with some meat and bread and fruit. It's fine, definitely not a concern.

I strongly recommend this tour company and this safari. You're going to take a lot of pictures so when you can, remember to just put your gear away and just stand up in the van and take it all in when you have a moment of peace. It's beautiful.

OUTSTANDING! Once in a life time experience. Lenard and Peter were both amazing!
5/5

To give you an idea of our scenario, we landed in Kenya with absolutely no idea of what we were going to do and nothing booked whatsoever. We are a family of three, and we booked round-trip flights to Nairobi, giving us a total of 7 days in Kenya. Additionally, we were in Kenya for Christmas, which made finding reservations even more difficult. Anyways, we landed in Nairobi with Peter's (owner of Flash MCtours) Skype number and messaged him, advising him that we needed a last minute safari trip. Peter offered to meet us for breakfast so he could explain the tours he had available, and he gave us SO many different safari options, allowing us to customize a schedule perfect for us. He managed to keep the safari trip within our price range AND found 5-star accommodations (which were completely sold out online due to Xmas). After having breakfast, the driver was ready at our hotel the next morning. The driver, Lenard, was absolutely amazing. He knew everything about Kenya, and was happy to answer all of our curious questions. He made sure to accommodate us in every way possible, even driving off-road to see certain animals up close. He truly made the trip a breeze and very educational. After finishing our 6-day Safari, we left so grateful that we chose Flash McTours. Highly recommend for anyone.

Peter was great in arranging everything and our guide, Alex, was amazing. He went above and beyond, continually trying to create just the right experience. He was great at spotting hard to see wildlife and getting us nice and close.

He was knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and accommodating.

From the first contact to arrival back at our hotel, Flash McTours has been excellent. Ahead of the tour, all our questions were answered via email in a helpful, timely fashion. There were just two on this particular tour so we felt like we were on a private tour. The tour guide/driver was punctual, experienced, professional. We could not have asked for more from them. The lodge where we stayed and the meals served were amazing. We saw 1000's of animals and got incredible pictures with just our phones. The amount charged and the services provided were just as advertised and we feel we got more than our money's worth. We highly recommend Flash McTours.

Once we were on the safari, it was excellent!
4/5

Pros
+ Safari vehicle
+ Safari camp - Kibo Safari Camp: Beat expectations for accommodations, service and food.
+ Safari: Amboseli NP - great variety of animals to be seen. Great long weekend get-a-way!
+ Hotel pickup & airport dropoff.
+ Staff: driver was safe and courteous.
Cons:
- Traffic to and from Nairobi was absolutely horrible.
- Third person added to safari which was unannounced by tour operator. Caused 1 1/2 hour delay.

Everything went smoothly, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, we saw all Big 5
5/5

can honestly say this tour exceeded my expectations in every way. The arrangements were handled brilliantly by Peter, who replied to emails very promptly and tailored the safari to suit us perfectly. We were picked up by our driver Edward and from that moment treated like royalty, we had the whole pop top truck to ourselves (2 adults and 2 children) and got to really feel at home there. I strongly recommend the Maasai run camp Oldarpoi as your base in the Maasai Mara. It's amazing. We also did the optional visit to the Maasai Village and learned so much about the local culture, and we went to the school with supplies (please if you go, they badly need English-text story books. text books etc. for the children). The safari itself was amazing, I didn't realise we'd be so close to the animals, and we saw all of the big 5! Some amazing moments including seeing lions and hyenas battling over a still (only just) alive warthog - amazing. We spent the last night/day at Lake Nakuru and completed the big 5 seeing rhino there. Fabulous. Very happy. The hotel there, Lake Nakuru Lodge is just beautiful. I already know I want to go back some time. Can I please just say how AMAZING Edward is. Such a genuine, lovely friendly guy with loads of knowledge about the wildlife. Thank you Edward.
