Very well organised with a very good guide visiting a wide range of game parks
Overall the organsation of the safari was very good particularly with the short time frame as we took a cancellation. We thought the tour leader was exceptionally good and knowledgeable. The game parks visited were varied and we saw a very wide range of animals. Accomodation, including tented camps were very good and being older we appreciated the individual facilities. Not being used to tipping we found chosing the appropriate level difficult. The only slight disappointment was the time at the Okavango Delta, which, although interesting, was not as exceptional for wildlife as we had expected from its reputation. Overall, very good value for money.

Great overland trip through game parks in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana
We really enjoyed this trip. The agents in New Zealand provided us with detailed information on what to expect and take with us. The loca guides in the Zimbabwe and Botswana parks were all very knowledgeable, and our main Safari guide was excellent, with a wide knowledge of the flora and fauna of all three countries. The accommodation, including our four nights in mobile tented camps in Botswana was good. Overall an enjoyable, great value experience.

Amazing in all aspects & best of 6 Safari Park visits I’ve had.
The tour far exceeded all expectations in regard to every aspect - organisation, accommodation, food, wild life experiences, and the knowledge and skill of Ants, our guide/driver.
Having seen the Big 5 on our 1st day in Kruger, which was only the 2nd day of our 25 day tour, I’d have been quite happy to have gone home after that.
Then I had so many more days when I kept saying, “I can go home now”.
The animals we sighted and how close we got to them, was way beyond what I thought would be possible.
Had I leant over out of the vehicle I could have patted a huge male lion as he walked by!
All within the group were able to get within 10m of White Rhinos.
My prime purpose for going, was to photograph the animals and birds, and I’ve returned with 3,000+ photos.
I’m more than delighted with hundreds of these.
Would I go again? - YES.
Would I recommend this tour to others? - YES, I already had, even before the tour was finished!
Could the tour be improved? -YES, by allowing one extra day in Victoria Falls, as there is so much to see and do there, plus for the guide/driver to have a microphone, so that everyone in the vehicle can hear what Ants shares. He is so knowledgeable on EVERYTHING, that all travelling in the vehicle really need to hear what he’s saying.

The complete adventure was extremely well organised.
We were very impressed with the whole trip. A special mention to our guide for 25 days, Anthony "Ants" who was so accommodating to all requests. His wealth of knowledge about all facets of the trip, including his enthusiasm to share the African way of life as well as his cooking expertise of many braai and bush camp fire TV moments were a great way to end the busy, tiring long days.
The accommodation was a very well thought out variation with clean, comfortable 4* plus lodges as well as the glamping which made us appreciate we were really amongst the wild life.
Throughout the whole trip, to hear and see the animals so close to us was mind blowing - a photographers paradise with so many opportunities to capture the animals & birds up close was beyond our expectations.
The only criticism we would have is the excessive long dusty trips - particularly as we headed for our last days of glamping. There was very little to see along the rough, dusty roads - arriving in the dark to a camp not yet set up, eating our dinner after 10pm and leaving again before daylight to travel back over the similar route to exit the game park was hard to understand why.
The local guides within the parks were wonderful - sharing their expertise to track down the various wild life was impressive.
The Chobe vehicle was uncomfortable over a very long distance because of poor rear suspension. The Tui Game Reserve vehicle was definitely better to ride in, considering the rough, challenging terrain we encountered to seek the wild life.
The Masihambe vehicle was comfortable - a suggestion would be for Ants to have a speaker so as passengers at the back of the vehicle could hear the information he was relaying.
We would thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone - it is exceptionally good value for a safari experience of a lifetime.

A truely professional company made more so by the expertise of tour guide Anthony
It was a good balance between game drive and other experiences. It is a beautiful country and the landscape is amaising from the Atlantic to the largest sand dunes in the world, to the wildlife to the wilderness. All was run very professionally and the accommodation was in the majority 5 star. Cannot streets that Anthony our guide made it a wonderful experience. It lived up to and went further than our expectations.

Stunning experience
This trip was our second. Everything about this company is above expectations. The tour guide is one in a million, the tour owner is exceptional, both their knowledge about the trips and the safari tours is out of this world. We saw everything that we thought we would see, the accommodation was above standard the travel was tops. Highly recommend to others. We are now planning another trip.

A small group tour with an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide providing a wide range of highlights
The tour is full on from day one with game viewing in the parks often covering 8 hours per day and may be longer when something special has been spotted. The safari experience with Masihambe on our Namibia and North Cape region tour included not just animal viewing but good opportunities to observe all forms of wildlife including insects, reptiles and especially the birds, with numerous raptors spotted on a daily basis.
The group was breifed on what to expect the following day, and the guide often stopped to explain many aspects of the flora and fauna of the regions we visited and also knew about the geology and anthropology which made the time in various tribal regions alot more meaningful.
Food was plentiful and catered for peoples various culinary requirements. Lunch was usually a quick roadside stop with salad and sandwich
However, we must stress that it is not a holiday with many days starting at 6.00 am and evening meals not usually till 7.30 to 8.00 at night. Travel often envolved great distances along some dusty and bumpy roads. The accommodation was always clean and comfortable and this tour certainly provided one with lesser known highlights of Namibia, as well as the famed National Park of Etosha, Swakopmund and Trans frontier region which are included in most tours. The 29 days flew by and I would highly recommend Masihambe for those keen on wildlife and culture.

Well organised tour with suitable accommodation.
We found this tour to be excellent and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences in Africa.
Our guide in Africa,Anthony Washford was outstanding. He made our journey priceless.
The accommodation was diverse which was part of the experience. However on one occasion our accommodation had to be shared. This wasn’t a problem but we feel this should have been advised before getting to accommodation.
Meals were amazing.
Some days in a van very long but to be expected when travelling such a distance.
