Experience of a Lifetime!!
5/5

The Kanyezi team was professional and extremely knowledgeable about South Africa. They answered questions I didn't know I had. I saw all of the Big 5 and more!! I have been wanting to do a trip like this for years and finally settled here. The accommodations were amazing!! I thought the food would be a problem but it turn out to be another highlight of the trip!! I wish I could share photos here!! In short money well spent!!

The best vacation we’ve taken due to you (Kanyezi) and the people at Sabi Sabi.
5/5

Our experience was phenomenal. I read, with a fair amount of skepticism, other posts from people about how great their Kanyezi experience was but ours was everything you promised, Chris. We stayed at the Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp during the latter part of October. It was small and intimate affording us the opportunity to get to know the other guests better the friendly atmosphere. Food and accommodations were A-1. Every evening and many lunches/breakfasts were set up in a different venue. During some morning safaris and most evening safaris, the safari vehicles stopped for a short break, drinks and light snacks, before continuing on the trails. The sunsets were beautiful. It didn’t rain; weather was not too cold nor too hot. No mosquitoes that we saw. But most importantly, and most impressively, was the service. Starting with yourself accommodating our various needs and answering all our questions before arriving, all the way to the staff who made our stay so pleasant. The highest accolades go to our Ranger (Frederick) and Tracker (Zeblon). Any little whim, they were quick to go out of their way to help satisfy. They worked extra hours setting up and cleaning up afterwards, attending to vehicles, gear, escorting us to/from lodges in the dark, etc. Their knowledge about the plants and animals, and how local people used them was amazing. Better than Google! We saw 3 of the big 5 on the first day and saw all of them by the end of the week. We also saw ostriches, which I understand are rare at Sabi Sabi. Overall, the best vacation we’ve taken due in large part to you and the people at Sabi Sabi.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge and Safari was amazing; Kanyezi not so much.
3/5

The Sabi Sabi staff and accommodations were absolutely amazing and first class. The ranger and tracker made our trip! We saw so much more than we expected - up close and personal! The food, service, and villas were 5 star. However, I would book direct rather than use Kanyezi in the future. Chris and Michael were with us only in Capetown. In Sabi Sabi, they had their "friend" act as our guide. We really didn't need a guide in Sabi Sabi because the lodge takes care of everything. In Victoria Falls, we were all basically on our own with a local guide who we had difficulty understanding. The accommodations in Vic Falls were far less than the 4 Star advertised.

Air travel was arranged very late despite emailing and calling on several occasions. We only received our international flight arrangements/tickets 2 weeks prior to our departure day! Given we were required to wire transfer the full payment months before the actual trip, this made us very nervous. Most all guests in our group had similar issues. Some did not get airline tickets until days before departure.

Lastly, Kanyezi threatened with legal action a guest in our group who posted a question online about their lack of responsiveness. They upset one couple on our trip and told them they should have booked the trip themselves! While generally nice people, they are highly unprofessional at times. This is marketed as a luxury trip of a lifetime ....

Incredible!
5/5

What a wonderful experience! Better than I ever expected.
We landed in Johannesburg late in the evening and were delighted to see that our Kanyazi tour guide was waiting for us.
He navigated us through the airport, the money exchange and got us to our hotel. The next morning we were taken to the airport to fly to Sabi Sabi.
I left a purse in the hotels breakfast room in Johannesburg. Our guide spent several hours and countless phone calls tracking it down.
He was always available for questions and helped make the time at Bush Lodge in Sabi Sabi effortless.
The staff, food, room and safari was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a good one. The Ranger and Tracker were filled with lots of information and interesting anecdotes. They were Super!
Before leaving for Victoria Falls we were provided with information about our transition to Zimbabwe.
Our Kanyezi guide did not accompany us. We were met by a guide from another company who saw to our needs whilst there.
The hotel in Zimbabwe was not as nice as Sabi Sabi. It was however adequate.
All in all I had an incredible vacation. Thanks to Sabi Sabi, Zimbabwe and Kanyazi Travel.

Communication leaves a lot to be desired
3/5

I feel like the Kanyezi staff did an adequate job but could have returned communications in a more timely manner and I never really felt confident in where I was in the process. It was a fabulous trip which was mainly due to the Sabi Sabi Reserve people.

Africa Trip Cape Town Kruger Park & Victoria Falls
5/5

Just finishing my April 2019 two week trip arranged by Kanyezi African Safaris. Cape Town, Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge and Victoria Falls. I traveled solo and I felt very comfortable and safe. A friend had recommended Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge that Kanyezi offered. She had mentioned how fabulous it was and definitely that is true. The Cape Town Tour was great seeing all the sights and Spier winery is a lovely place. The Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge was the highlight!! Amazing and truly an adventure everyone should do!! Be ready to be spoiled. Eat fabulous food and Safaris morning and evening to see the animals. The drivers and trackers are exceptional!! They can track the animals and are in contact with each other to make sure you get to see as much as possible. Kanyezi African Safaris arranged everything very nicely and answered emails and questions promptly.

Spectacular
5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Safari on a whim...a life long desire of a whim, that is.
Mine was a last minute decision to join a friend on their bucket list vacation.
I did no research, had no plan. I simply said yes, signed on the dotted line and arrived.
Each and every member of Kanyezi and Sabi Sabi had every spectacular detail in place.
If, like me, you wish to book a vacation and arrive worry free “on vacation”, leave yourself to this luxury- in these very capable hands.

Incredible experience
5/5

We were a family of four traveling to South Africa with Kanyezi. We were greeted by Manie at the airport with flowers in hand. We arrived at Spier Winery where we were escorted by a very professional and friendly staff to our beautiful suite. We spent 5 days there enjoying the property( including multiple spa treatments) as well as the day trips with Chris. We got just a taste of South Africa but Chris was extremely knowledgeable, providing great commentary on the history and all that SA has to offer.
We then headed to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. The recommendation by Kanyezi’s to fly, instead of drive, was well worth the extra cost. Sabi Sabi itself was all we hoped it would be. Everything was 5 star, from the rooms to the food to the service. We cannot say enough about the game drives and bush walks. Daniel and Creamson made an incredible experience even more memorable.
From there we traveled to Victoria Falls. We were afraid we would be disappointed after Sabi Sabi , but Victoria Falls was impressive on its own.
We would highly recommend traveling with Kanyezi for an incredible experience.

Exciting, lavish trip to South Africa
5/5

April 2019 South Africa Safari with Kanyezi. Wonderful accommodations at 1692 Spier about 30 minutes from Cape Town and at Sabi Sabi Bush lodge in Reserve/Kruger. Sabi Sabi Bush had knowledgeable guides and trackers - I couldn't imagine better! The staff provided excellent service; the rooms were spacious and the beds more comfortable than most American beds.I Loved that Kanyezi gave me the option to upgrade my flights to biz class which made my 25-30 hours of flying time pleasant and comfortable. Sleeping on the flight kept my jet lag to a minimum. the Spier was fabulous and the location afforded our group the options of touring the Cape of Good Hope, the Cheetah Center, Stollenbosch, and Cape Town, all within a short distance. Kanyezi provided two sprinter vans for our group which allowed everyone to see the side views and in front of us (larger tour buses don't let anyone see where they're going when they have high seats). For me, it was a bonus to have Chris, one of the owners of Kanyezi, as our driver and guide in Cape Town. I liked that we were treated like adults and not herded around - we had ample opportunities to be on our own to explore both Cape Town and the surrounding areas. In Sabi Sabi, we had activities all day into dinner with daily guided walking safaris in our small group of six. We saw Rhino, Elephants and Water Buffalo while walking - what a thrill - and always safe. I would use Kanyezi again for a South African trip.

An awesome experience
5/5

An amazing adventure with a great team of experts.... awesome trips in the Western Cape, Stellenbosch Valley and Cape Town followed by the greatest part of the adventure in the Sabi Sands area of Kruger National Park. The safaris and animal sightings, up close, were breathtaking. We took over 4000 pictures during our trip. The Spier Wine Estate in the Cape area and the Sabi-Sabi Lodge in Kruger are truly fantastic locations.
We topped it off with an extension to Victoria Falls, a helicopter ride and river cruise which were breathtaking. This was definitely the trip of a lifetime. The Rangers and guides in Sabi are outstanding and our Kanyezi guides of Chris and Manie in Cape Town and Chip in Kruger were just excellent. You cannot go wrong with this amazing trip and team.
