Extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and readily available.
5/5

My wife and I have been married for 47 years and have discussed going on a safari to South Africa even when we were dating. After being shut out by COVID in 2020, we began to think that our dream vacation would never materialize. However, with the help of Chip Allen and the Kanyezi team, our recent trip to Capetown, Kruger National Park, and Victoria Falls exceeded our wildest expectations. We were greeted warmly wherever we went, provided with all the information we needed, fantastic service, great value, and exposed to the wonderful elements of nature and wildlife that all of us dream about, and few will ever see. The staff was accommodating to all travelers' needs, and safety was always a top priority. As a world traveler, I would honestly say that this was truly the experience of a lifetime.

My husband I had a great African safari experience with Kanyezi
5/5

This was our first trip to Africa, and it was terrific. The accommodations were excellent (little houses), the grounds lovely, and the food excellent. The quality of the safari trips was excellent. We had 8 three hour trips by jeep into the bush, each with a ranger and a tracker. Our ranger joined us at dinner each night of our stay, which helped solidify our small group and certainly made us feel taken care of. This portion of our trip followed several days at Spier Winery outside of Capetown, and then two days at Victoria Falls.

The most fabulous trip of my life, such a dream come true.
5/5

I took my 25 year old son and 23 year old daughter on my bucket list trip. My kids were skeptical but everything about the trip was fabulous. It was very organized and on a small scale, only 10 people. Chris and Michael were very customer service oriented and made the trip special. They know the area and kept everyone safe. I cried every day getting to see the animals free. The African people were very nice every where we went. The lodge on Safari was so special and first class from the service to the amenities to the guides. You couldn’t ask for more. My children were so impressed and so enjoyed the memories we made. Thank you Chris and Michael can’t wait to return. Teresa Madison

KANYEZI GAVE US A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE - THANK YOU - CHRIS AND MICHAEL
5/5

My son and I have been on safari with Kanyezi twice (April 2016,2017) and we are going again in October this year.

You are greeted at the Capetown Airport and you will be well taken care of by Chris and Michael for the rest of your trip. Accommodations in Capetown are extremely nice as are the daily outings with Chris and Michael.

The Kanyezi Safari lodge is exceptional with a wonderful staff, food and service. You go on two game drives daily and see many, many animals with wonderful photo opportunities from your open air jeep. Your tracker and guide make sure your African safari is all that you dreamed.

Thank you Chris & Michael for some of the best times of our life, see you soon!

Wonderful Trip Exactly as Described!
5/5

The actual tour part of the trip was fantastic. Everything that was described was as good as promised. The Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge was beyond belief! It has got to be one of the most exquisite places I have ever stayed in. Unbelievable service and accommodations, it was beyond 5 stars!
While some people may be concerned about wiring funds to this company, there is no need. It is very commonplace in Africa to do business this way, and it was fine.
The safari was perfect! lots of animal life and in ONE game drive we saw all of the Big 5! incredible. I just wish the trip was longer.

I thought communication with them was a little difficult due to the time differences from So. Africa and the US, there were some days it took 4 days for a reply, so allow for time accordingly. Their phone lines were not functioning at the time, but they do have a US phone number that is transferred to So. Africa - when it works.

Come and see life at its best!!
5/5

I have traveled twice with Kanyezi African Safaris. I loved it so much the first time that I brought along a friend for my second trip. I recommend Kanyezi unequivocally with the highest rating possible. The trips exceeded my expectations - and the second was even better than the first.

Both times I traveled late May / early June which was the perfect time (fall) for weather and absence of bugs. But next time I may try spring instead.

Chris and Michael, the owners of Kanyezi, are perfect hosts and know how to put together the best tours of South Africa. From their personal greeting at the airport upon arrival to the departure they make everything a luxury and an adventure.

Some people said they felt weird about wiring the money early on, but it's absolutely safe and worth every penny! I don't know how they provide such luxurious business-class travel and wonderful accommodations at such a reasonable price point, but they know their business well and have been doing this a long time. Their experience pays off for their guests, making the whole trip a dream come true.

The accommodations are extravagantly luxurious. The suites are beautiful, the food is delicious and elegantly served. And the safaris are conducted in small groups (there were 6 in my group) with a dedicated ranger and tracker. Every night the ranger joined us at the sumptuous dinner, which added to the personal care and the depth of knowledge gained on the trip.

The highlight, of course, is the safaris: two drives and one walk per day. You see more than you could have imagined. Wildlife big and tiny. The ranger and tracker share their knowledge and love of the land and animals. Viewing the sunrise and sunset every day (as well as the Southern Cross in the night sky) touched some part of my soul that lies dormant most of the time.

If you have any dream of safari, you should consider Kanyezi to ensure that you have the best safari on earth.

Family owned company you can trust, took the stress out of arrangements for almost entire trip!
5/5

We traveled to South Africa in May 2018 with Kanyezi African Outfitters. We can both honestly say that this was an experience of a lifetime!
Our trip began in the picturesque hills & vineyards of Stellenbosch, where we resided & played at the Spier Wine Farm. This intriguing, beautiful estate is not only brimming with history and art, but is also a modern – environmentally friendly farm centralized on farm-to-table food.
With Chris & Michael as our knowledgeable and welcoming hosts we were able to experience a great variety of what this part of the country had to share. From the scenic drives on the coasts of both the Indian and the Atlantic Oceans, to the adorable penguins at Boulders Beach, we were mesmerized. We then traveled to The Cape of Good Hope where we climbed to a lighthouse with indescribable views. We had another unforgettable day at the Cheetah Outreach Center. Here we had the rare opportunity to observe and interact with both adult and cub cheetahs. Add the breathtaking views of a sunset wine tasting and the adventures that each of us found in Cape Town, and we consider our time here truly magnificent.
For the next leg of our journey we went to Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.
We were welcomed by the absolutely incredible staff of Sabi Sabi along with the kind & capable Chip Allen.
Here, our all-to-temporary home was the luxurious Bush Lodge. There are not enough wonderful things we can say about our time at Sabi Sabi. The staff was over-the-top welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Our time spent on safari is unparalleled! The adventure of looking for and tracking animals, then the excitement of finding and observing them in their natural, wild environment, up close and personal, both during the day and at night, was positively exhilarating!
We took the opportunity to visit a local village. This was something we both look back on as an essential part of our journey.
These moments, so many captured on video and photo, were not only breathtaking and unforgettable, but also indelibly life changing!
Kanyezi took all the work out of planning this trip, made all flight, transfer and activity arrangements, in addition to providing us with everything we asked for and more. Chris personally met us inside the airport in Cape Town, then Michael met us all curbside to escort us to Spier.
From the first time I called his number, Chris was friendly, answered all my questions and helped me feel secure in the decisions we were making to take this trip. It was a pleasure finally meeting then spending time with he and Michael once we arrived.
Kanyezi is a family owned company you can trust. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to travel with Kanyezi.

Deeply grateful for it all,

Larry & Kristin Bloom

Spectacular

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Safari on a whim...a life long desire of a whim, that is.
Mine was a last minute decision to join a friend on their bucket list vacation.
I did no research, had no plan. I simply said yes, signed on the dotted line and arrived.
Each and every member of Kanyezi and Sabi Sabi had every spectacular detail in place.
If, like me, you wish to book a vacation and arrive worry free “on vacation”, leave yourself to this luxury- in these very capable hands.

An Emotional High!
5/5

It was a trip of a lifetime! From start to finish, the trip was amazing! Definitely spend the money and fly business class . . . its worth it! Cape Town was magnificent, such a beautiful place. Loved Spier and all the people that work there . . . every employee went above and beyond to be polite, courteous, happy and interested! From there, it was time for safari and that whole experience just blows you away! Sabi Sabi . . . breathtaking! The staff, rangers and trackers, SO great! Safari . . . everything you see on TV but in real life. There were the moments of "WOW" and the moments of "ahhhh . . . no way!" The African sunset is to be marveled. We also added on Victoria Falls and I am so glad we did however Zimbabwe is not South Africa so get ready for your experience to change. Kanyezi made everything super easy and Manie was there for us from start to finish. May was the perfect time of year . . . not too hot and no rain. I spent a lot of time reading about how to pack and it all paid off . . . Kanyezi makes the group size small which is very appreciated. I did a lot of research to pick the perfect trip and Kanyezi was the BEST . . . having the hindsight, I still believe that Kanyezi was the best!

Absolutely Amazing!
5/5

Visiting South Africa seemed like something I would be able to do when I retire but instead, I was blessed with a trip with my mom . . . I am 19! We were very excited about this trip and really did not know what to expect. Everything about South Africa is beautiful. Cape Town was so fun and we even had an extra day to tour the winery and farm and I was able to play a round of golf at the neighboring course . . . a completely unexpected highlight. Safari was just amazing! Our ranger Greg, and tracker Zulu, were phenomenal and able to relate to our entire group, regardless of the age differences. We saw everything imaginable but the elephants at the watering hole were the highlight . . . the leopards too! This was a trip of a lifetime and I am so glad I got to experience it! I would absolutely go back to South Africa . . . its a lot of flying but its worth it!
Kanyezi made everything very easy and Manie was with us every step of the way . . . a constant resource who also provided such job and happiness along the route. I was completely comfortable with our tour group and age had no impact! We saw everything, experienced everything and the entire trip was so much fun!
