Happy in Africa
We did choose It Started in Africa as our tour operator for a 4days safari ( Endless Plains) in Tanzania based on the reviews in internet solely and these were all 100% positive. And so is ours - 110% positive. By the moment the other operators we asked a quota did answer, we had our tour booked already with It Started in Africa. We loved it all - the speed they react to every question, their professionalism, their thorough explanations and very well thought through tours, their flexibility and the people ! We had Isaac as our tour guide for 4 days and we still miss him ! His ability to drive and spot the animals as well as his knowledge and experience were truly impressive and he has such a good sense of humour ((-: So we truly recommend this company if you are genuinely interested in having a good safari. The choice of hotels is totally up to one–s expectations - we did try different categories and they all were different, but good. If you–d like to experience the true feeling of nature- a night in a tented camp is a must. All the comfort is there and much more waiting for you at home ((-: But pampering yourself after a tent experiment in a lodge is nice too - so our recommendation, try different options.

Perfect Tanzania tour!
I was amazed with the beautiful nature and the wild animals in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi. I had the opportunity to meet the most happy people with the 3 tribes. With my skillfull, frendly and patient driver/guide Martin I had the best safari ever, he really knew where to find all the animals. I felt safe and secure all the way with him. I'm thanking the manager, Joao Oliver for arranging this fabulous once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended!:D As a chef so I really appreciated the cooking class with the boys, simply amazing! It was totally funny and great with mountain bike tour as well, do it, yes!

A once in lifetime experience - don't miss it!
Actually our safari did not start in Africa but it started in Berlin. We had a tight schedule so planning the trip carefully (including inland flights) was very important for us and Mr. Oliveira from "It started in Africa" did an excellent job in advising us on distances and accomodation and so on. Preparations can't be better than that!
And: In the end everything turned out as planned and even better. Our accomodations advised and booked by Mr. Oliveira were absolutely phantastic and Isaac, our guide during the safari (Tangarire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater) was not only great in spotting animals but also in providing us with lots of interesting information on animals and people.
So: If you think of doing a safari in Tansania you won't regret it if you go with "It started in Africa"!

4 days safari in Tarangiri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
First of all, we want to give to "it started in Africa" a big BIG thanks! We had a great time with our safari, it was really amazing! Our guide and our cook were more than excellent :) Everething was better than we expect, could not have wished for a better experience. We were lucky to see all the big 5 :)

Choose this company if you want an amazing trip!
My daughter and I have just spent a week visiting 3 of Tanzania's national parks. We found the company helpful when organising the itinerary and the trip itself was well organised. The company were very accomodating - even looking after a pack that was not needed for this part of our trip and meeting us at the airport at the end of our trip to hand it back. Our driver was very well informed and good company.

The greatest holiday in our live!
We made a 7-days-Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Lake Easy and after that we flied to Stonetown. We had there a very interesting city guide. On the next day we made a spicestour and drove to your hotel at Pongwe Beach.
Our trip was really very great. The staff from It Started in Africa is very helpful all time long and very fast in reacting to your mails. the staff went above and beyond. They arranged all greatful. We would book again at any time your Safari with It Started in Africa. Our guide Philip knew very well about animals and trees and always drove us to where what was going on. The tip for the hotel on Zanzibar was 100 % right for us.

great service great guidance excellent experience
Firstly the people at "It Started in Africa" Office is amazingly helpful and good at understanding your needs. The people we met in Tanzania was also terrific. Especially our guide "Anthony Sillo" was expert at what he was doing, we kind and full of knowladge about the area and the animals. If you have a chance to ask for the guide definetly I recommend him. We went for 6 days(2,5 days in Serengeti) but if you have time try to spend more time at amazing Serengeti.

Following the migration
Everything went very well during our time in Tanzania, since the organization of the whole trip runned smoothly, we enjoyed the tented camps, and we were quite lucky on our game drives.
Our guide Deogratius was not only a great guide, but also at all times a very nice company!

An amazing experience with It Started in Africa
The safari in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro was amazing, like the driver and also the chef.
We saw all 5 big, wonderful places and landscapes. The driver was really nice, he told us a lot information about animals, he was very friendly and made us feel at home. And also we ate very well.
So thank you! The most exciting thing was to sleep in a tent in the Serengeti and hear the animals during the night.
