Great service at budget prices
We did a 10 day safari with baboon budget through Kenya and Tanzania . We visited Masai mara , Lake Nakuru , Ambroselli , Lake Manyara , Serengeti & Ngoro ngoro crater . Saw the big 5 and much much more . Camping most nights but nice tents , good food and great guides - highly recommended for the price . We also booked our Kilimanjaro climb through baboon budget which again was great value for money and well organised . If you want a budget safari look no further !

They behaved dishonorably
I signed a lease contract with Patrick for Nissan X-Trail from 5.09 to 25.09.17, I've paid him for rentingת and left him a deposit of 500 USD.
At 25.09.17 I've returned the car. Patrick examined her and then drove her to the parking lot. He said that he have to go to the bank to refund me a the 500 dollars. Patrick did not return with the money.

3-day safari in Masai Mara fantastic, day trips in Nairobi bit disappointing.
We booked our trips with BB Safaris on arrival in Nairobi. Our day trips in Nairobi to the elephant orphanage and giraffe centre were good and well worth the visit but the 1-day safari to Nairobi National Park was disappointing with a 'driver' rather than a 'guide'. Our 4 hour schedule was reduced to 3 hours with an unplanned, and quite frankly, unwanted visit to a snake centre. I didn't enjoy the day which is why I've scored 4 instead of 5.
However, our 3-day trip to the Masai Mara was outstanding! This was mainly through our guide (Patrick) being so expert in knowing where to find the animals and getting us the most amazing sights of animals in their natural habitat and family scenes unfolding in front of us as we watched enthralled. I am still buzzing from the experience!!
For a budget safari we felt we had a fantastic trip that was worth the money.

7-days budget trip
Just finished the Kenya trip. On the back to NL. When the memory still fresh: I chose tbe budget 7 day safari trip via Mojhi.com: Nairobi - Masai Mara- Nakuru - Amboseli - Naivasha - Nairobi. If this is not your first time, no need to go via Mojhi (they charge 10% fee), but since it was my first time alone in Kenya and due to lack of trust in the varied quotes and quality from local travel companies, I did it via Mojhi and the fee was worth it. I was grouped with other six people (fortunately they were all very lovely which was obviously very important). The first two nights in Maaisa Mara was in a campsite (as I chose): in my tent there was no hot water for shower the first night, but in general a good experience, the sky in the night was amazing, btw, no internet in campsites (no surprise), there was mosquito net but I still got bitten a lot, mosquito spray is a MUST; one night in Nauru was in a hotel with 3- star hotel condition (with WiFi); in Amboseli it was campsite again but operated differently; till the last destination to Naivasha I was the only one left (other people in my group had shorter program), so got a private tour. Got to say it was pretty decent that the service quality remained the same: I wanted to take a walk in the town of Naivasha and didn’t plan to bother the guide (Bonifse if I spelled it correctly) since he had been driving long hours and it was not in the program, but he insisted to come along which turned out to be very necessary: there were not many tourists going into the town, I was stared by people along the way, some drink guys on the street were saying something (I suspected not nice things) and my guide now turned to a security guard. The hotel in Naivasha was decent too. Last day when I was brought back to Nairobi, my program officially ended, but since my flight was in the midnight, there were still a couple of hours so my guide arranged a smaller car and another driver Teddy showed me around a bit of Nairobi for free and dropped me off at the airport in the evening. Very happy with it. Had a pleasent chat with Teddy. Coming to the driver+guide, ours Bonifse was very punctual (actually he was one hour earlier to pick me up the first day because he took the traffic jam into account in the morning), not super talkative but very responsible person. Man, the roads conditions were tough especially in Amboseli. Be prepared.
Got to say the trip with Baboo was a good one, felt taken care of, turely enjoyed it.

Excellent and enjoyable
Babon safari was a random pick in nairobi. My contact person was Dennis who had given me quite good rates for the day trips. I ve used their services for 4 days at several places. The drivers that was as a guide (bon and teddy) both are very nice and experienced and had made our tour enjoyable.

Really good organization
I travelled alone to Kenya for enjoying a 5 days Safari.
The trip was as described in the agreed Agenda; our guide/driver had a really professional behabiour; all Parks we visited (Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha) were wonderful and we could see the 5 five... This Safari Co. so recommendable!

Amazing safari, not the most professional company
I travelled alone to Tanzania and booked through Baboon Budget. Let me state that the guides were great and the location amazing. What was not the best was the communication ahead of time. I chose a total of 4 lodges for my 10 days safari between Serengeti and area and Selous. I only stayed at 1 of the 4 I chose. Abram who handles trips in Tanzania seemed a little sketchy. He tried to change my itinerary and changed my lodges. Warranted I ended up in better places. I would go back there in a heartbeat but I probably would not book with them again. I didn't appreciate itinerary changes and not knowing where I was going to be staying.

Overall we had an amazing experience on safari, also our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly
Good points:
Food – it was always hot and cooked fresh, there were always options for veg and non veg
Additional add on’s such as Lake Nakuru were worthwhile paying for as they added an extra experience and sometimes gave us a break from being the van
Campsite – all 3 were very decent, bed linen, towels and hot water. Always had a bed and mosquito net and there were areas to hang out after meals
Scenery! The views were amazing, regardless of whether this was in the parks or driving across the country!
Driver – Ambrose was excellent, very knowledgeable and always knew the places to find the animals with the best views
Points to note:
Generator – power only for certain amount of time, always check before going to sleep what the timing will be
There is a possibly of having ‘outdoor’ toilet and shower
You will need your passport to get into Masi Mara Park
The distance of driving was more than expected, especially from Lake Nakuru to Amboselli
It would be good to have a map to understand distances covered and the different areas
Be prepared to be sold merchandise at each stop/break
Collection at the airport was confusing. Had to call and text Dennis (an international call!)
Very good experience with my driver Ambrose
What you do think about the communications, service, living up to expectations, the safari tour itself and so on?
Very good experience with my driver Ambrose
