Best value for your money
Bujo Tours did an exceptional job with making our first Safari experience a success.
Anthony went out of his way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible and provided us with a ton of information about them as well.
Highly recommend you book with Bujo

Amazing trip and guide
We were a group of 4 people and went for Safari for 4 days. We had amazing days together with Bujotours and our guide Naza. Our guide Naza was very helpfull and took good care of us. The camp/hotels they booked for us was both clean and nice. I recommend everyone to book a tour together with Bujotours.

A bit rushed but a memorable experience
It's a bit of cliché to say a travel experience was the trip of a lifetime. But in the case of the Bujo Tours 8-day tour of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, it's an apt description.
First up was a game drive in Tarangire National Park, a perfect way to ease into life on the road. The park is small compared to its more famous neighbours but the wildlife is plentiful and easy to see.
The second day we took the long drive to the Serengeti. It was just as spectacular as it looks in the nature documentaries -- a never-ending plain of dry grass, studded here and there with umbrella-like acacia trees. Because of its size, the animals were widely spread out and there were many periods when nothing much was visible. But when they appeared, the animal sightings were memorable: Plenty of giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, antelopes, hippo, crocs and even rarely-seen serval cats and a leopard in a tree. Several times, we got very close to lions, including an entire pride of a dozen animals, just a few yards away. We were amazed at how nonchalant lions can be, casually walking within a couple of paces of the truck, studiously ignoring us.
One of the sights we most wanted to see was the Great Migration -- more than 1.5 million wildebeests on their way north toward Kenya. It was fascinating to see huge herds grazing just off the road, then suddenly forming single-file lines to continue their northward trek. The only disappointment was that the wildebeests were not ready to make the spectacular crossing of the Mara River. It's completely a matter of luck and our timing happened to be bad.
Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the trip was in the Ngorongoro Crater. The early morning mist and the the sun slowing creeping down the crater wall made for an enchanting atmosphere and animals were everywhere.
The tour was very well run. It was a private tour, meaning we had our own driver/guide Freddy and our own cook, Aresto. Freddy has a keen eye and was usually the first to spot wildlife. He's very knowledgeable and happy to stop whenever we wanted a longer look. Aresto's meals were mostly delicious stews and curries.
You should be aware that the accommodation throughout was safari tents, big enough for a 6-footer to stand in. We slept in sleeping bags on foam mats. If you're used to camping, you'll have no trouble with the accommodations. At night we could hear lions calling nearby, sometimes sounding like they were just outside our tent. (According to Freddy, one night they actually were!)
I have few criticisms, but I do wish the pace of the safari was a little slower. Sometimes it felt like we were racing to fit in as much as possible. That was most notable in the Ngorongoro Crater. Soon after coming to the crater floor, Freddy got word that a black rhino was nearby. In our race to get there, we sped right past a huge herd of water buffalo right on the side of the road. In the end, we saw only a glimpse of the rhino about a kilometre away. I would far prefer to have spent time close to the water buffalo.
We were only in the crater half a day. I would recommend spending a whole day there, even a day and a half. It's too nice a place to race through.
But overall, it was a wonderful trip and I give Bujo Tours five stars.

Magical!
Anthony & Bujo Tours were great. I had a really magical experience on their 4 day safari to Nyerere National Park.
They were readily available on WhatsApp to discuss any issues and ensure I was comfortable as travelling solo to do a safari. I didn’t realise I had booked a private tour but it was a great experience to be a part of.

Perfect tour, perfect spotter, best for Safari
Safari. How long should you drive? We chose 8 days as we wanted to see Taragiere, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. And we chose Bujo-Tours for our trip. Booked from Germany, all information in English. Safari in Tanzania is expensive, so we were looking for an inexpensive but safe alternative. And Bujo-Tours promised it all. So, let's go.
We met our guide and driver Nick and our cook in the typical safari Toyota in Arusha. Off to Taragiere Park and we immersed ourselves in the world of the Big Five. Nick is a good spotter, he discovers what a European misses. Everyone finds zebras, but giraffes are amazingly camouflaged in the savannah.
What can I say. We saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, a serval cat, warthogs, hyenas and ostriches many times. Everywhere, of course, there are elephants, zebras, gazelles of various species, wildebeests and lots of diverse birds, from eagles to flycatchers. Landscapes, trees and many exotic plants were photographed. Even if not all images captured a new subject, we shot over 10,000 times. It was a joy, an adventure, a fantastic experience to spend these 8 days with Nick & Co.
Highly recommended.

Excellent and professional company that gave us the trip of a lifetime!
We had the best experience with Bujo tours and really recommend them! The communications with them were very easy and they were super responsive in answering all of our questions. We booked a 9 day safari tour (by adding one day to the wildebeest migration safari plan to visit lake Manyara) and we included the add ons of a night drive, walking safari, and Maasai visit. The days were perfectly planned and well balanced and Bujo was flexible in making some suggestions to slightly alter the plans on certain days to make sure our preferences were taken into account.
Our guide (Justin) was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable and informative, had great instincts (which allowed us to see two wildebeest river crossings), and of course eagle eyes that gave us the most amazing sightings. We saw pretty much everything we wanted to see (apart from the elusive rhino!) and just had the most amazing experience that made the nine days just fly by. We had a large 4x4 vehicle with an open roof top that was very spacious and made it easy to see animals from all angles.
We choose to do camping and Bujo provided us with a spacious tent that we could stand up in that we set up for us at each camp site. Some of the facilities of the campsites were better than others but overall it was a really cool experience sleeping out in the bush and being able to listen to animals at night. The food was also great - we were never left hungry!
Everything ran really smoothly and honestly could not recommend Bujo tours enough as they really gave us an incredible holiday.

Professional and Passionate Journey
We are two Chinese travelers who have experienced an unforgettable trip in this country. The travel agency we worked with was very professional, they responded to my message very quickly and answered my questions patiently.
The guide Mr.humphrey who spent six days and five nights with us, with brilliant driving skills, and a pair of eagle eyes, is very helpful for finding animals, and has a wealth of animal knowledge and passion for nature. The chef's skills are also very good, and the daily meal will change and delicious.
We saw the sunrise and precious rhinos on the grassland, as well as the meals of Hyena, the country's protection of nature is amazing, I would like to recommend this and this travel company to all my friends.

Great budget safari experience with friendly guide
We were looking for a Safari company, that would offer us a private tour for a good price and Bujo did fit our needs. The manager (Sweve) was fast to reply via whatsapp. We did multiple iterations of different itineraries and Sweve always sent multiple options of time plan and accomodacion. When we agreed on the itenerary, we paid 10% deposit online.
The day before the start of our Safari, we met in Arusha with our guide Nick, made final arrangements and paid the rest in cash.
Nick was super friendly and very experienced guide. He knew all places very well and was very patient and tried to fulfill all our wishes. Thanks to the fact that we paid for private safari, there was only two of us (plus Nick) in the car and we could completely manage the pace at we drove in the parks. We are somewhat a enthusiast birders and thanks to that we had enough time to closely inspect the bushes when we saw some feathered activity. Even though birding is not Nicks specialisation, he had a book and actively tried to help us identify all the birds that were new to us.
We were tight on budget so we picked the cheapest version, which means staying in camp outside of park in a tented camp (Kizumba). In the camp, there were big tents with actual beds inside, which was convenient and comfortable. The boxed lunch food for safari was prepared by the camp and it was quite tasty, with some snacks like fruit and biscuits. The car we drove was smaller version of those big 8 passenger cars, with pop-up roof. The car was quite older (which is understandable for a budget safari) but beside the visual impression, it didn't affect the riding experience at all. The car had a power outlet in the passenger area but sadly it was not functional at the moment. But I was able to charge my power bank at the drivers usb outlet.
Overall, from our experience I can say that Bujo is a reliable company and we got everything we paid for. Our guide Nick is a great person and excellent guide that I would gladly recommend.

Reliable and uncomplicated.
I spent 4 very nice days. The group I joined and the driver Tony were the best company. If you don’t want to travel alone, I can highly recommend to do a safari by joining a group.
