Great Safari
We were on a 4 day safari with Mathew and Martin. Very well planned and executed. It didnt dissapoint. Service and their company was great. Will def be using them again.

The experience was wonderful. Paul and Matthew were amazing they were timely and worked very hard on the Safari. They were kind and friendly. I would book with tropical vacations every time I come to Kenya. The service is truly 5 stars!!

Friendly, knowledgeable professional with wonderful hospitality.
When we first found out we were headed to Kenya, I immediately knew that I wanted to take a safari and get to experience as much of the wildlife as I could. I spoke to my fellow travelers and my friend who is wonderful at planning immediately started calling and emailing around to find the best deal within our budget and that met our criteria. She recalls a lot of companies not replying and when they did, it was inconsistent material. Matthew was never inconsistent. He was tentative, understanding of our inquiries and provided many options for our 4 - 8 day safari. At the end we decided that 6 would be the best and that we wanted to remain in Kenya instead of the extras of boarding into Tanzania. Matthew was with in constant communication with us before arriving in Nairobi, met us in our desired location prior to the safari and meet us on time at our pick up destination. He was courteous, knowledgeable and very professional through out the entire experience. He was able to answer all of our crazy questions on bird varieties and was full of animal facts. Even though we disagreed on if it was a hippo or a crocodile swimming in one of our videos, he was a great guide and host, and the experience was truly out of the world, thanks to Matthew and our driver.
When booking your accommodation be sure to look at the websites of the locations you're provided. Initially we had chosen the base package of rustic camping for our safari, but after some research on the locations, we decided to upgrade to the second tier. Our lodging was what you'd expect for a safari, rural environment. They were operating on generators, the staff were friendly locals, and food was very consistent, comfort food. Based on our research I was very happy with our decision to move up a tier. Our lodging was typically located 1 KM away from the gates of each park and it was very nice to be on the "outskirts" as it made the evening much more cozy and enjoyable.
Overall my experience was a 9.5/10 - my only reservation would be the long travel time from one location to the next. if you have the luxury to upgrade to fly into the locations that would be the best case scenario, but it was not in my budget so we endured the long rides

A nice tour, with nice guides and nice accommodation.
Matthew and our driver were super nice people. We saw a lot of animals and got a lot out of our four days in Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Rift Valley and Masai Mara. Really recomend the boat trip and the Masai Village for a small extra amount of money.

They are really profesional & affordable.
They have treated me like a boss, expecialy Mathew who was all the time looking for my best and I have to say that ge is super funy guy and super aproachable.
Communication was fantastic, not even a single complaint.
The trip was planned in Kenia ( Nakuru, Naivasha, Masai Mara, Mombasa) Zimbawe & Bostwana ( Victoria falls and Chobe Safari).
Fulfilled my expectations 100%.

The communication waz great with so much attention to detail. The service is compared to none. I've been to other destinations with different agents but this was by far the best. You deserve 5 stars. Frankly my expectations were average but the guys at Tropical were amazing and exceeded my expectations. The safari was great,you guys have an amazingly beautiful country . Such a shame it's not very well marketed. Please get somebody to fix a few roads and traffic
