Landside are the best !
We found Kilimanjaro Heroes while researching tour companies to climb Kilimanjaro and who could organize safari's. Landside Adventures were cheaper than the competition with great reviews and it turns out there is no sacrifice to quality. From the start of the trip to the end they were always helpful, treated us with great respect, and did their best to ensure we had a memorable trip.
We did Machame (6 days), our guides Keddy and Elias were full of knowledge and also had such a relaxed attitude it rubbed off on us and helped us be comfortable with what we were undertaking. The rest of the crew as well were faultless. Keddy also provided great tours of Arusha city and Hot springs for relatively modest fees.
On the safari, Mohamed and Nickolaus are a great team, Mohamed is a funny man, and knows how to get close to the action. Nickolaus's food is excellent and much appreciated after the long 'African massages' of the roads.
While their website contains a lot of information, I'd also recommend looking at others for information such as gear and tips.

Landside Adventures always delivers
I just took my 5th Safari to Serengeti with Landside Adventures, and as always, it was full of adventure, a few challenges, and the most amazing animal viewing I've ever seen. I work with an NGO, so part of my job is to take people out to game parks after working on projects in Tanzania. This last trip was 4 days in Serengeti at Landside Adventures with our guide, Solomon. He was delightful, full of information and great little tidbits about what we were seeing, and happy to be able to share about way more than just the big animals. He was a wealth of knowledge about Tanzanian culture, animal behavior, plants, birds...we couldn't go 5 minutes without him pointing out something interesting. He's a real teacher at heart! My favorite thing about him, though, was that he doesn't sit on the radio all day waiting for someone to tell him where the animals are so that we show up to a "herd" of land cruisers watching something eat something. No, he likes to go on his own and find them based on his own instincts...which are EPIC! We got to see so much where we were the first and only people there, which made it even more special! The guide that suits your style best if you ask, and you will have the Safari of a lifetime with Landside Adventures.

Great company and amazing guide
My wife, best friend and I booked an 7 night private safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara with Landside Adventure. We had an amazing time and would HIGHLY recommend this company. Specifically, our tour guide Solomon made a great trip into one we will never forget.
Planning: Booking a safari tour in Africa there is a lot harder than your standard vacation. There seem to be close to a hundred or more tour companies and unfortunately bad actors among them. We almost decided to cancel our entire trip because we had such a bad experience wiring money to another fraudulent company before finding Landside Adventure. Maxon at Roy Safaris was great to work with. Prompt, friendly and gave us helpful suggestions in preparing our itinerary. We are also amateur photographers, so she made sure we had the right equipment in our vehicle and a guide knowledgeable for this type of trip. We priced the same semi-luxury itinerary with several other companies and Landside Adventure was the most competitive.
Safari: I'm in my late 30s and being on safari for me brought back the excitement I felt being a kid in Disney. We were the first ones out of the camp and the last ones back in every day. Every morning we felt excited about the adventure our guide Tory would take us on that day. He was not only an expert at spotting animals, but also in knowing their behaviors and anticipating their movements. He helped us set up countless epic shots with his understanding of light and shooting angles. His passion for nature was evident and his knowledge of the country, parks and wildlife was impeccable. Most importantly he was always an absolute pleasure to be around. We considered ourselves supremely lucky to have drawn him.

Fantastic safari and cultural tour!
My family and a friend just went on a five day safari with Landside Adventures and Safaris in March 2017. It was a fabulous, unforgettable experience. Keddy and Faza, the company owners, did a fantastic job in planning our trip through Tarangire Nat'l Park, Ngorogoro Crater Nat'l Park, a Maasai village, Olduvai Gorge, and the Serengeti. Faza came with us and provided a wealth of naturalist interpretation about all the animals we saw--lots of lions, cheetahs, a leopard, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and many ungulates and birds--as well as a terrific sense of humor.
We had two drivers in addition to having Faza as our naturalist trip leader, which worked out well. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife in five days, and Landside Adventures handled a medical emergency that came up very efficiently and calmly, sending a third vehicle to meet us so that the rest of our group could keep going.
Keddy and Faza also organized a visit to a Maasai market and village near Arusha which was very interesting. Given the limited amount of time we had, I could not have asked for a better experience, and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for expert, knowledgeable guides for a safari at reasonable rates.

Most memorable Trekking & safari Adventure in Tanzania
Big shout out to Landslide Adventures and Safari in Arusha, Tanzania. Big, Big thank you! Asante sana for planning our Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Trek and Safari vacation.
Very professional and talented team of knowledgeable guides who mean it when they say you are their family. They took very good care of us, like their own, always making sure we were comfortable with food, gear and other neccessities. We couldn't have made it without the amazing porters and awesome cook who fed us the best mountain food!
Thanks to their expert knowledge and skills, my 13 yr old daughter made it to Uhuru peak in the baddest, coldest weather with very poor visibility due to heavy fog and hail.
After Kilimanjaro we had the most spectacular 4 days at Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Solomon was the perfect guide and driver, always ensuring we were getting the best views and pictures. Our comfort and satisfaction was his priority. We saw all the big cats, elephants, giraffes and so many other animals everyday. We couldn't have wished for a better vacation, thanks to Landside Adventures and Tours for making it so very special and memorable.
I highly recommend Landside Adventure and Safari for a memorable and unique adventure to Tanzania.

We had an Incredible time doing safari with Landside Adventure. The company is on the smaller side and extremely personal. Also owned by the local so it's give back to the community. They work with you to make your experience individual and unique. They are extremely professional and the guides (keddy and Julius) have tremendous experience. Their are tons of safari companies out there and most of them aren't client focused. Landside adventure is dedicated to working with you. I would highly recommend this operation!!!!!

"What a great safari we had with Landside Adventures "
We did 7 day safari to Tarangire, lake manyara,ngorongoro ,Serengeti and Lake Natron with our two kids 7 and 12 years old. What a great trip we had! Everything well organised and excellent communication in advance. The trip itself we had a very experienced guide Solomon that showed us so much, including the Big Five and a river crossing of the wildebeest over the Mara river.
Our cook Nicolas made excellent food for us.Car was new fully functional (including charge station for camera batteries ) and perfectly fit for the job in this often heavy terrain!
I highly recommend Landside Adventure and safaris company to anyone willing to visit Tanzania.

We were accompanied by Faza on our trekking trip to Mount Kilimanjaro via Machame route! An amazing Guide that I couldn’t possibly ask for a better one. Very professional, always was taking care of us, always helpful and polite. He made us ready for the Summit in the Best possible way. Always explaining the difficulties that we could face, the need to eat properly, sleep enough and watch the pace. Really good manners and genuine!
The same was for the rest of the team, Chef Elisante being a major surprise! Delicious food, Well balanced ( I am a nutritionist so I do take care of that) And nicely served! I highly recommend this company to anyone planning to explore the natural beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro.
