Amazing two weeks round trip in uganda
We had amazing time in uganda. Special thanks to our guides maddy and panuel. They try to made every dream come true. The lodges were really nice and clean. The food wad really good and the wildlife especially the gorilla trecking was just unbelievable. I hope to come back soon.

We were really well looked after , and shown some the most incredible wildlife and culture.
The tour was amazing , stayed in some beautiful places and saw some of the best wildlife on the planet.

An Adventure Trip that Got Better and Better as the Story Unfolded
Our trip to Uganda with Mamaland was the best. From the very beginning at the time of booking all our e-mail questions were answered immediately, in a friendly and very efficient way. The trip went like clockwork from being picked up at the airport (all of us coming in at different times from different countries) to extremely well planned and organised journeys each day. The lodges we stayed in were extremely comfortable, clean and cosy - some were more luxurious than others - but that just added to the delightful surprise each day.
The trip itself was planned so that each day offered more excitement than the last, culminating in the magical experience of Gorilla Tracking on the last day.
Our tour guide, Medi, was just excellent - calm, so polite, friendly and with a lovely sense of humour. I cannot recommend Mamaland and Medi enough - thank you for a wonderful time. It was the trip of a lifetime for me.

My husband and I made a 14 days-tour in Uganda operated by Mamaland Safaris and we can highly recommend this tour operator. Everything was perfect: from the communication in advance with Edrisa, to the planning, programm, car, lodges and food, ... Coming back to Uganda we would choose this company again.
One of the most important parts for this very positive experience was our guide Moses. He was always very friendly, very carful and reliable, and he always gave us a lot of interesting information. So we only can say thank you to the team of Mamaland Safaris and especially to Moses!

Fantastic Uganda Birding Tour
Mamaland provided an excellent 2 week birding holiday in Uganda. We had a brilliant knowledgable guide in Tony who was incredibly hard working and great company along with Ibrahim our highly skilled driver who both made every effort to ensure we had a memorable and happy trip. We visited 7 national parks in the most beautiful landscapes and adding the support of expert local rangers we were able to see almost 500 bird species and a long list of other amazing wildlife. Our accommodations were comfortable and we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality. Uganda is wonderful! I highly recommend Mamaland Safaris. The service was flexible, friendly, efficient and professional at all times and offered outstanding value for money. Thank you!

The most amazing holiday of my life..... excellent service, food, accomodation and experiences !!
Mamaland Safaris gave us the most amazing holiday I have ever experienced in my life. We were made to feel extremely valued from our first contact with the company when we were seeking information of tours offered. Edrisa was polite and very reliable, answering our enquires very promptly. His advice and information was excellent and made our preparations for the holiday very smooth. Edrisa and Mady, our guide throughout Uganda met us at the airport and made us feel very comfortable and confident from the beginning.What followed was an exciting and amazing 11 day tour throughout Uganda and Tanzania.... the most beautiful countries! Mady and our Tanzanian guide Khaleed were excellent and their knowledge of their respective countries was outstanding. Both men went out of their way to give us the best adventure ever. Khaleed even returned the next day after our tour had concluded and in his own time to take us to the airport. Food, accomodation and activities including Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, Masai village visit and safaris throughout 4 National Reserves were excellent. Were else can you wake up in a jungle or a National Park with zebra, giraffes and gazelle grazing outside your room and lions roaring in the distance?? This was without a doubt the most amazing experience of my life and I would recommend Mamaland Safaris to anyone planning to visit these beautiful countries. Amazing experiences through Rwanda and Uganda
The tour was very easy to set up. Edrissa worked with us to accommodate our wishes. We had an 18 day private safari, starting in Rwanda and ending in Uganda. The guest houses, local guides, variety of activities and field experiences were all that we hoped for. Paul was an excellent driver especially on the mountainous roads of Rwanda. Golden monkeys, gorillas, lions seeping in trees and rhinos were some of the highlights. We also had the opportunity to interact with the local people and visit several schools. An unforgettable experience.

Well organised, great experience, beautiful accommodations
My girlfriend and I did a five day tour to the Crater Lakes, Bigodi Swamp and Queen Elisabeth National Park with Mamaland Safaris. We first wanted to do a three day safari, but changed our minds. Edrisa was easy to contact by mail, and was very helpful in expanding our itinerary! Moses was our guide on the tour, whom we, coincidently, already knew from a previous tour to Murchison Falls. He was everything we could’ve wished for as a guide; patient, knowledgeable and experienced, with lots of enthusiasm for Uganda and its wildlife. We were picked up from Kampala, right on time, and we left for the Isunga Lodge, near Kibale NP. This lodge was absolutely fabulous, with a breath-taking view over the Kibale forest. We saw many beautiful birds and monkeys on our guided walks in the surrounding environment and had a great stay. We then went to the Pumba Safari Cottages, right at the edge of QE NP, and went on two game drives, where we saw elephants at a few meters distance, lions, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, different antelopes and many birds! On the last day, we went to the Kalinzu forest and saw, after a long trek through the beautiful forest, two chimps in the wild! In short, we had a fabulous trip, saw more than we could have wished for and everything was very well organised. Thanks again to Moses and Mamaland Safaris for a wonderful experience that we will cherish for a long!
