Perfection and passion
Mamaland Safaris has surely been the best local agency in a country I have ever traveled to. Apart from logistics and wonderful attention, they give a passion to the trip that makes you remember it for a lifetime. Fantastic tour in Uganda
I had a fantastic trip of two weeks with mamaland safaris in august 2007.
We saw all the principal attractions in Uganda including chimp and gorilla trekking and we also experienced the local life off the beaten track thanks to our guide Tony.
I'd like to recommend mamaland safaris to everyone for their professionality, friendly approach and flexibility to adapt their tour to your wishes.

The Ugandan Safari that Mamaland Safaris provided was one I will always remember
Thanks to Mamaland Safaris we had a terrific holiday.
Together with the owner we set out a ideal trip for us to see as much as we could in the limited time that we had. Every stop we had was better and even more beautiful than the last. The wildlife is always an unknown variable, but thanks to the expertise of our guide we managed to see almost every animal we wanted to see. The guide, Michael Lutembe, can be considered an expert in wildlife as well as a cultural guide. The information he could provide was an overload and information that one can not normally find in the tourist guide books.
Thanks again Mamaland for the unforgettable holiday and we are proud to have made new friends in the process. We hope to see you again soon.

Our guide Tony, was very flexible and educated us throughout the entire trip. We had a great time!
Tony always listened to what we wanted to do and suggested different things along the entire trip. He was very knowledgeable about many topics from wildlife,birding to history and politics. we thoroughly enjoyed his company and laughed together throughout the trip. He was always considerate of our needs and was constantly attentive to us! it seemed like everywhere we went ,everybody knew and respected Tony and we kidded him by suggesting he should be the Minister of Tourism!We highly recommend Mamaland Safaris!!!

Great birding safari
I spend one of the best hollidays of my life in the safari called "Uganda birding Paradise". This safari consists in 15 days visiting some of the most important hotspots for birding in Uganda: Mabamba swamps, Lake Mburo, Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth Park, Semuliki, Budongo Forest, Kalinzu Forest, Murchinson Falls, etc. I travelled by most of the southwest and western part of the country and I visited several kind of hábitats: swamps, Savannah, forests, etc. I sighted more than 420 bird species, with very interesting findings, like the shoebill, the African Green broadbill, the Black-casqued Wattled hornbill, the Crested Barbet, the Ruwenzori batis, the Papyrus gonolek, the Grauer's Swamp-warbler, etc In addition, I also observed more tan 40 species of mammals, including gorillas, chimps, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elefants, giraffes, etc. I can hardly imagine a better place in the world to see more biodiversity in a short time.
I was guided in all my journey by Tony and Paul. Two outstanding field guides and even more outstanding persons. I am sure that part of my excellent experience in Uganda was thanks to their company and help. They arranged all the accomodations, meals, permisons and excursions.
In sum, I strongly recommend to anyone to visit Uganda with mamaland safaris. You will not be dissapointed.
