Reliable, friendly, knowledgable and accommodating
We used Vacay for day trip experiences in and around Nairobi. We had a big group and Vacay catered for all needs. Andrew - Thoughtful, helpful guide
We chose Kenya for our honeymoon and Vacay helped the experience live up to every expectation. Our guide, Andrew, was fun on the road, adapted the days to what we felt like, and ensured we had great experiences. Also, while we fell a bit ill near the end of the trip (do NOT let this sour you on Kenya, it can happen anywhere and was still great!) Andrew went above and beyond making us comfortable in our travels.

Perfect

A thoroughly memorable experience at Masai Mara
Our booking for seven people was very efficiently handled by Ms. Leonorah. From initial inquiry, she was very helpful and prompt in answering all queries. Everything ran smoothly from the pick up to the drop of.
The only negative point was that we were not informed in the confirmation that the $80.00 entrance fee for the Masai Mara national reserve was not included in the package.
The Spirit of the Masai Mara lodge is a truly fantastic place with very friendly and helpful staff. Mike was an excellent driver and passionate guide. He is very knowledgeable about all the animals and very good at spotting animals in the distance, in the bush and at following tracks. He was always willing to share his enthusiasm with us.
We had a great time. Thank you.

Posted on Nov 29, 2018Hi Dr. Fritz. Thank you for the above review. Glad to hear you had a great time at the Spirit of the Masai Mara. For the park entrance fees we normally include the 'applicable' entrance fees in our quotes and in your case it was the conservancy fees for Siana Conservancy. Normally Masai Mara game reserve has a few conservancies inside it (protected areas) in which most high end / luxury camps and lodges are located; so for the game drives it is done within the conservancies which cover a wide enough area and you are able to see majority of the big five and other wildlife. Apologies if there was any form of miscommunication from our end; we always aim to ensure our clients holiday/safari exceed or at least meet their expectations.

Fantastic experience, excellent service and great value!
We had a fantastic trip with Vacay in the last week of October. The booking of the trip was really easy; Leonorah and David took great care of all our queries and always responded quickly to our correspondents.
The trip itself was really well planned; we saw 3 different parks over the 5 days. Andrew, our guide and driver, was amazing and really looked after us. He was really knowledgable about all the animals and the history of the country. He really made our trip special.
We were really lucky and saw so many animals in all the parks, including 4 out of the big 5! We didn’t see leopard but more than made up for it with lots of lion, cheetah, rhino and elephants!
The trip was seamless from beginning to end. The only change we would have made would be to have had an extra night at the lodge at Lake Nakaru National Park because it was amazing!
I would thoroughly recommend Vacay to anyone and we would definitely use them again if we are lucky enough to visit Kenya again!

Fantastic Flying Safari to the Masai Marai Kempinski Camp
Booked a Flying Safari and everything worked BEST !!! Every question was handled quick and fully satisfying. Very trustful company. Payments were handled with easy bank transfers, so we did not have to carry huge cash amounts with us. Drivers, Flights, everything was perfect on time. A Dream came true. Hard to find words becuase the journey made us completely speechles !!!
