Amazing experience from start to finish - thank you
5/5

I cannot highly recommend Karibu World enough, from the start I had trouble with the changing dates (this was my own fault) and Tasneem sorted out getting new dates and booking everything quickly and efficiently. Everything was well organized from stepping off the plane to getting to the Serengeti. Along the way the driver was full of information about the villages we passed through, trees, birds and animals. I was there for 4 days/ 3 nights and managed to see loads, there were early starts but it was worth it to see the big 5 in the wild was truly amazing (something id never get to see back home). I only wish I had more time to use the facilities at the hotels as Karibu really do put you in 5* accommodation but I was restricted by work on the amount of time I could go for.
I would defiantly go back and maybe do a hot air balloon across the Serengeti in the morning
Thanks Tasneem and the lovely driver (im sorry I cant remember your name) for making my adventure most enjoyable, this is why I wont't go anywhere else to book trips because you guys are FIVE STAR!!!

By far the most experienced and professional safari company in Africa!
5/5

I am professional outfitter for wildlife and hunting services in Eastern Europe for almost 20 years; I work in travel&totrism induatry since 1998 and I traveled to Africa multiple times, from Egipt to Tanzania, Kenya, Borswana, Namibia and South Africa. I had the chance to experience from full safari exyended packages up to short putdoor weekends in various locations of Africa.
The experience i've finished this week (June 2017) with Karibu Safari in Tanzania exceeding any other previous experiences; it was my first but definitely not last safari with them in northern Tanzania.
We were three adults all of them experienced in travels worldwide, and Muridy Ahmed was our guide/driver since our pickup from JRO airport. I drove all kind of vehicles during last 30 years and i can say one thing: out in the jungle/bush nothing exceeds the LandCruiser 76/78/79 in whatever terms you want, not even the tractor that colonized the world - the might LR Defender. Impecable new cars, optimum shape, including heavy duty accessories and safari modifcations, very very clean, extended range to 2,000km.
Muridy is an highly educated professional in Wildlife Management that is doing the safaris for over 12 years already; he knows all the tricks in the books and honestly i've tested his skills many times - not even one mistake. He was the first guide i've met in 15 years of Africa travels that had the power to admit that he is still learning every day from the mighty beauty of wildlife. I've spotted a very rare mongoose with my special binoculars and he read me all the scientific facts about it from his professional books.
Regarding the treatment towards the clients, Muridy had an impeccable attitude towards the ladies joining the group, as well as the gentlemen teavelling with him. I've also noticed that he was communicating with almost every colleagues guides from safari regions, regardless of their safary company or destination. Later it was clear for me that he was one of the most sought-after guide in all central and northern circuits by exactly the other guides - Muridy's provided information were spot on, either you are looking for most elusive wildgame in Serengeti (rhino - and we had the chance to spot two of them together), or he was just asked where to find the best sunset picture on the park. Belive me, nobody else could spot in two hours of Serengeti 6cheetahs!!! + 2 full grown leopards!! and a mighty pride of 7 lions - except Muridy! If tou want to know how to spot a leopard in the tree from almost 500meters without binoculars, while he was car driving - ask Muridy! Something else, just like a personal touch: although the great migration in central Serengeti ended for almost one month, his magic senses of taking an old road in a morning lead us to see thousands and thousanda of zebras and gnus together in massive herds, slowly migrating to the north - a special touch from Muridy.

About Karibu: Ian congratulations for what your are managing as a company, you can not do business in this highly competitive safari world for 60 years if you are not impeccable from all points of view. And when the safaricompany is working with the people for the people - that is the hardest but most satisfying job of all!

About all the others collateral services: Karibau provide any needed hotel, meals, or anything you may ask. We wanted full sters hotels - they reccomended. We wanted to taste the tented safari, they reccomended best camps. I wanted an extended range for radios, they had it; i requested additionals infos about birds in the region we traveled - they were spot on; i wanted technical comparison for ER lenses of Nikon/Canon, Muridy showcased the differences with his photo portfolio. Impressive.

In the end: Karibu Safari - hakuna matata! Muridy Ahmed - wildlife magician!! Customer care - impeccable! Technical gears - perfect!
Thank you Africa. Thank you Karibu. Thank you Muridy.

Excellent service and friendly staff
5/5

Highly recommend Karibu World as a one-stop-shop to anyone traveling to Tanzania. We booked our 5 day safari and 7 days kilimanjaro trek through them and to say the least, we were extremely satisfied and loved our experience with them. Zulfikar from Karibu World was exceptionally patient and prompt in answering all our emails and queries (We must have written him over 60 enquiry mails :).

We were extremely happy with all the arrangements they made for us. From booking a hotel in Arusha, to planning our trek with our guide Isaac who took great care of us, to booking our Safari with Murudi who left no stone unturned to make sure that we get to see the famous 5 and more. Even the camps they booked for us during our Safari stay were really nice and impeccable.

To summarise, let Karibu World do all the work for you - pick best hotels, provide best guides and service; while you sit back and enjoy your unforgettable trip with them.

We also had a top class guide in Muridy who had tremendous knowledge of the animals and the area. Tanzania Northern circuit safari
5/5

The tour was organised after discussion with Karibuworld staff (Ekram, Sona and Susai) who were very pro-active and provided use with lodging options while meeting my requirements to see all four national parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Manyara). The driver cum guide (Rizwan) was very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. The lodges and tents were quite good and services including packed lunches were as per expectations. Rizwan was always on time and took us to the best spots at the parks.

We flew early morning from Dar to Kilimanjaro airport and it was amazing to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro bright and snowy in the sunlight welcoming us to the safari. Rizwan was there with his welcoming smile and helpful hands to brief us about the tour and then started the wonderful journey to explore the nature we had set out for.

We thoroughly enjoyed Tarangire, specially the great swamp on day 1. The tented lodge was amazing and we had breakfast next morning watching the elephants about 20 metres away. Ngorongoro was fabulous and he stay at the tented accomodation at the top of the crater was quite chilly, yet memorable. Elephants and buffaloes passed by and we could see a few bushbucks and imphalas near our camp. Serengeti needs no introduction and it met our expectation. Amongst the hoards of animlas, we were particularly impressed seeing a leapord with its baby on a tree with a kill, a few cheetahs and many many lions including a kill where the lioness catch a warthog. Living at the tented lodge inside the serengeti plains near the Kopjes was quite an experience. Lastly Manyara was amazing with lots of hippos, zebras and wildbest by the lake and the hot springs of the great rift valley. The manyara lodge was fantastic where we could relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the lovely view of the lake from the balcony of our tent. We went for a nature walk early morning with a masai and also came across a local Bulu singer with his native instrument who sand a melodious song for us.

We must have seen countless varieties of birds (eagles, bustards, vultures, ostriches, flamingoes, hornbills, storks, secretary birds and many small colourful variants) , big cats including lions, leapords and cheetahs, wildbeasts, zebras, giraffes, impalas, dik diks, bushbucks, hippos, rhinos, gazelles, anteplores, ostriches, varieties of monkeys, crocodies, mongooses and hyenas. The vast serengeti grasslands, the ngorongoro heights and crater, the tarangire baobabs and manyara green forest and lakeside were each fabulous and left us mesmerised with the nature's bounty we had never experienced before.

We also visited the Oldupai Gorge on route to Serengeti from Ngorongoro, which is the cradle of civilization. It is absolutely fantastic for geologists and people interested in human evolution. It has the replica of the original footprints of the huminids and a story around it. On the last day while returning from Manyara, we visited the Masai village which was a wonderful experience. We danced with them and saw their way of life including their houses and a school for the young kids. Then we visited the Meserani Snake park at Arusha that was a great experience. We could hold the snakes and tortoises in our hand and had a good guide who explained the charactereistic of each reptile also informed that it was the only place in Tanzania where antidotes were available for snakebite.

The exparience to see the great rift valley, the ridge of the Ngorongoro mountain range at one end going right upto lake Victoria is simply unbelievable. We could see the earth's beauty in all its elements, the mountain ranges, green tops, the crater, grasslands, rivers, lakes, huge baobabs and other trees, animals, birds, reptiles, butterflies and ants in massive anthills. Never coudl I imagine so much in such a short time.

Some of the best memories that we ever had were during this trip. Highly recommended.
